Richard “Ricky” Appleby, the son of Allen Appleby and the late Darlene (Clements) Appleby, was born February 27, 1971 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 50 years of age.

He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and making people laugh and was just a simple man and was a press operator until his health declined.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Appleby.

He is survived by his wife: Lisa (Corbin) Appleby, two children: Mariah Appleby and Michael Appleby; his father-in-law: James Corbin and wife: Debbie; his mother-in-law: Mary Corbin and companion: Edward “Pee Wee” Dulworth and a host of other relatives and friends.

A private graveside service for Richard “Ricky” Appleby will be conducted at the Tallow Creek Cemetery.

There will be no visitation

Gordon Haynes

Gordon Haynes of Campbellsville, son of the late George Haynes and Gertrude Wright Haynes, was born February 9, 1948 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 1:58 A.M., Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Greensburg. Age: 73
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
He was a retired farmer.
Gordon is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Mildred Haynes of Campbellsville; one nephew, Chad Haynes and wife, Amanda of Auburn; one niece, Amber Hill and husband, Dartanya of Louisville; several great-nephews, great-nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Edward Lee Haynes and Marvin Haynes and wife, Suellen Haynes.

INA FORD HUMPHRESS OBITUARY

Mrs. Ina Ford Humphress, 83, of Elkhorn, Kentucky, daughter of the late Rue L. Ford and Bertha (Callahan) Ford, was born January 30th, 1938, in Taylor County and departed this life peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, August 13th, 2021, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Kentucky.

She professed her faith in Christ and was a member of Christie Chapel United Methodist Church in Knifley, Kentucky.

Mrs. Ina, known as “Ma” to her loving family and the community had the sweetest soul ever.  She was a very special lady to all who knew her and will be missed terribly.  She had a love for flowers especially blue ones and a passion for bluebirds.  She had battled cancer four times in her life.

Mrs. Ina worked at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and retired after forty plus years of employment.

She united in marriage to Richard Kenneth Humphress on June 11th, 1955, who precedes her in death on January 4th, 2009.

Survived by two sons: Vernon Humphress and wife, Debbie; and Alvin Humphress and his wife, Marsha, both of Elkhorn, Kentucky.

Four grandchildren:  Amy Humphress of Casey Creek; Andrea Farmer and her husband, Jason, of Campbellsville; Amanda Burress and her husband, Adam, of Elkhorn; and Leigh Ann Humphress of Elkhorn.

Five great-grandchildren:  Kylee Bardin and Aubree Bardin of Casey Creek; Jacey Farmer of Campbellsville; Elly Farmer of Campbellsville; and Peyton Burress of Elkhorn.

Three brothers:  Carl Ford and wife, Carol of Knifley; Gary Ford and wife, Pauline of Campbellsville; and Eric Ford and wife, Jennifer of Campbellsville.

Three sisters:  Galoris Hedgespeth and her husband, Ralph of Campbellsville; Shirley James of Indiana; and Lana Ford of Campbellsville.

Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Ina is preceded in death by:

One infant son:  Keith Richard Humphress, May 2nd, 1956.

Six sisters:  Ruby McDonald, Ena Hicks, Wilma Combs, Anita Elmore, Marsa Cox, and Zilpha Reece.

Three brothers:  Rue L. Ford, Jr., Ray Ford, and Daniel Ford.

VISITATION:  Monday, August 16th, 2021, from 5pm-8pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

FUNERAL:  Tuesday, August 17th, 2021, at 11am EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

Burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
