Ruth Mae Wade of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Elmer Perkins and Lennie Dudgeon Perkins, was born July 2, 1927 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:35 A.M., Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in McMinnville, Tennessee. Age: 93
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church.
Ruth was a retired cafeteria manager with the Taylor County School System.
She united in marriage to E. Wade February 2, 1945 and he preceded her in death.
Ruth loved UK basketball and quilting, her family and church.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William A. and Laura Wade of McMinnville, Tennessee; one daughter-in-law, Sheila Wade Sinclair and husband, Eddie of Summersville; three grandchildren: Angela Wallace and husband, Steve of Somerset, Chad Wade and wife, Jamie of Mt. Washington and Marty Wade and wife, Ashley of Jeffersontown; four great-grandchildren: Katie Johnston and husband, Ben of Campbellsville, Isabella Wade of Mt. Washington, Alex Brockman of Nashville and Braelyn Wallace of Somerset; two great-great-grandchildren: Kynlie Johnston and Campbell Johnston of Campbellsville; special niece, Connie Wilson and husband, Danny of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one son and one daughter: Bobby Gene Wade March 9, 2015 and Tammy Wade King March 20, 2019 and a brother, W. G. Perkins August 13, 1997.

Marzon Pyles

Marzon Pyles of Campbellsville, son of the late Clayton Pyles and Dora Martin Pyles, was born January 28, 1933 in Metcalf County, Kentucky. He died at 6:23 A.M., Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Louisville. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church and attended Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Marzon was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and a farmer. He was a hardworking man and enjoyed camping, fishing, being outdoors and growing strawberries. He loved his family and always gave everyone of them a nickname. Everyone called him Grandpa.
He united in marriage to Peggy Ware November 23, 1956 and she preceded him in death October 25, 2011.
He is survived by one son and two daughters: Billy Pyles, Beth Murphy and Ivy Keen of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Chad Skaggs and wife, Bonnie, James Broyles, William Broyles and wife, Angie, Mary Lynn Skaggs and Isaiah Clarkson ; two step-grandchildren: Brock Murphy and Rayven Murphy; nine great-grandchildren: Austin Skaggs, Ryan Skaggs, Dakota Broyles, Brandon Skaggs, Brittany Beard, Rhianna Broyles, Gabrielle Lyvers, Blade Broyles and Carly Broyles; two step-great-grandchildren; Luna Murphy and Scarlett Murphy; one great-great-granddaughter, Addison Grace Scott; two brothers: Grover Pyles and Preston Pyles of Campbellsville; four nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Elizabeth Pyles and a brother, Roger Pyles.

Lory Hoover Bennett of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Parvin Hoover and Zetty Edna Lawhorn Hoover was born February 19, 1930 in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 2:58 A.M., Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 90
She professed faith at a young age.
Lory was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom where she served for over twenty six years.
She was a farmer’s wife, homemaker and loved being outdoors working on her flowers when she was able.
Lory united in marriage to Forest Bennett July 1947 and he preceded her in death October 20, 1979.
She is survived by two daughters: Betty Coomer and husband, Robert, and Irene Robertson and husband, Terry of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Ricky Coomer, Roger Robertson and wife, Keisha, and Jonathan Coomer and wife, Dianne of Campbellsville; Barry Coomer and wife, Melissa of Louisville, Matthew Coomer and wife, Vicki of Owensboro, and Joshua Adam Bennett of Illinois; twelve great-grandchildren: Caroline Robertson, Alexis Robertson, Maxwell Robertson, Carter Coomer, Clay Coomer, Savannah Coomer, and Bentley Coomer, all of Campbellsville, Jared Coomer and Caleb Coomer of Louisville, Hailey Coomer and Jacob Coomer of Owensboro, and Jason Bennett of Illinois; one sister and one brother: Zela Bennett of Columbia, and Leonard Hoover of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two sons: Alvin Ray Bennett and Norris Dean Bennett; four sisters: Clara Earls, Jannie Cape, Rachel Durdick, and Margie Pelston; two half-brothers: Tannie Hoover and Ulis Hoover.
