William Lee Veatch of Campbellsville, son the late William Val Veatch
and Annie Lee Shipp Veatch, was born May 25, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:06 A.M., Monday, October 12, 2020
in Campbellsville. Age: 80
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
William was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, seng digging, riding 4-wheelers and
watching Nascar races. But most of all,
he enjoyed spending time with his daughters.
William is survived by five daughters:
Melinda LaFollette and husband,
Mike of Hodgenville, Kathy Dile and husband, Tony of Magnolia, Stacy Kendall
and husband, Lee of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Shelia Coffey and husband, Steven of
Gradyville and Jeanette Underwood and husband, Matt of LaGrange; ten
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers: Janice
Sallee and husband, Delmar, Carl Veatch and Billy Veatch and wife, Mary Ann, of
Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Faye Veatch of Campbellsville; several
nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David “Buck” Veatch and two
sisters: Mary Ann Veatch and Linda Faye
Veatch in infancy.

Sandy Rainwater of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Edgar A. Cave and Marjorie Long Cave, was born May 11, 1944 in Gloucester, England. She died at 3:22 A.M., Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in Louisville. Age: 76
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bowman Street Separate Baptist Church.
Sandy
was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She
united in marriage to Gordon Rainwater December 19, 1981 and he preceded her in
death August 31, 2004.
Sandy
is survived by two sons and two daughters:
Sheree’ Brockman and husband, Donnie of Mannsville, Kenneth Lee Agee and
Sheila Caldwell and husband, Gordon of Campbellsville and Gordon Rainwater, Jr.
and wife, Amber of Georgetown; nine grandchildren: Jeremy Wilcoxson, Shawn Sweeney, Brooke
Sweeney, Kenny Agee, Chris Agee, Nicholas Glover, Tyler Rainwater, Bridgette
Benningfield and Josh Wise; eight great-grandchildren: Richard McDonald, Brantley Agee, Braxton
Agee, Logan Benningfield, Kayley Benningfield, Hunter Wise, Nicholas Wise and
Abbigayle Wise; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and
friends.
Sandy
was also preceded in death by two sisters: Julia Richerson and Jacqueline Joelle Cave.
Mr. Terry Paul Perkins of Russell Springs was born in Taylor County on December 18, 1961 to the late Elmer Lewis and Ethel (Poff) Perkins. He departed this life on Sunday, October 11, 2020 in Lexington at the University of Kentucky Hospital, being 58 years, 9 months, and 23 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and regularly attended the Park City United Methodist Church or the Merry Oaks United Methodist Church. He was an Emergency Medical Technician with the Russell County EMS. He enjoyed playing music with his family and friends, and was known to be a handy fix-it man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, and will be dearly missed. He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife: Stacey (Robinson) Perkins, Two children: Deranna Perkin-Cole and husband Dallas of Columbia, and Dylan Perkins of Park City, Two grandchildren: Trevor Cole and Tegan Cole, Three siblings: Perline Humpress and husband Harold of Elk Horn, Gordon Perkins and wife Sue of Campbellsville, and Bobby Perkins and wife Linda of Knifley, His father-in-law and mother-in-law: Gene and Mildred Robinson of Columbia, Three sisters-in-law: Judy Perkins of Knifley, Ruth Perkins of Campbellsville, and Marsha Perkins of Fairdale, And a host of other family and friends. He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Donald Perkins, Thomas Perkins, and Jackie Perkins, Sr. There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Perkins on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM EST (12:00 PM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Charles Shepherd will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
