Mr. Bobby Lee Pyles, 79, of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. Son of the late Judge and Letha (Burress) Pyles, he was born on April 3, 1941. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. He was a long-time employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, having been in the first group hired at the plant’s opening, and one of the last to leave at its closing. He enjoyed working with his hands, and raised cattle and tobacco on Rocky Hill Farm.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Tommy Ann (Brockman) Pyles, and six siblings.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
One son: Brad Pyles and wife Mary of Wilmore,
Two grandchildren: Eli Pyles and Emmy Pyles,
And a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Pyles on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 26, from 12:00 PM until time for the service.

Mr. Coy Robert Covin of Campbellsville, son of the late Coy Hildrey and Mary Jane (Kolnik) Covin, was born in Akron, Ohio on February 20, 1952. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his home, being 68 years, 11 months, and 27 days of age. He was a carpenter and a cabinet maker, and had served his country honorably in the United States Navy.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
Five children: Dixie R. Covin of Florida, Charlene Covin of Florida, Elizabeth Covin and companion Brandon Tungate of Campbellsville, Josh Covin of Campbellsville, and Michael Beede of Michigan,
Two siblings: Willaim “Bill” Covin of Mannsville, and Terry Covin-Wilson of Florida,
Five grandchildren,
One great-grandchild,
And a host of extended family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Robin Covin and Tammy Covin.
The family chose cremation and all services will be held privately.

Pamela Sue Pyles-Sallee of Campbellsville, the daughter of Tommy Pyles of Campbellsville and the Late Judy (Giles) Pyles, was born April 16, 1973 in Adair County, KY and departed this life on Friday, February 19, 2021 in Bowling Green at the Medical Center.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
Besides her father, she is survived by a son: J.T. Pyles; a sister: Patsy Lopiccolo and husband Michael; a half sister: Miranda Callahan, all of Campbellsville and a half-brother: Ronnie Callahan, Jr of Bowling Green; her step-mother: Patricia Pyles; her step-grandparents: Lawrence and Viola Richards and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Bonnie Giles, Johnny and Rosie Pyles.
The funeral service for Pamela will be Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Sis. Anna Overstreet will be officiating.
Family requests visitation from 5-7 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
