Mrs. Donna Kaye (Underwood) Creason of Campbellsville passed from this life on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Daughter of the late Shelby Underwood and Juanita (Milby) Despain, she was born in Taylor County on July 21, 1959, and was 60 years, 4 months, and 29 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Victory Tabernacle in Campbellsville. Mrs. Creason started cleaning houses professionally when the Fruit of the Loom plant closed. A quiet and strong lady, she rarely complained about the hardships in life, focusing instead on caring for her family and friends. Her hardworking and kindhearted ethics will survive in the lives of her husband and children.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
A husband of forty years: Donnie Creason,
Three children: Jesse Lee Creason of Florida, Damon Louis Creason and wife Magel of Campbellsville, and Bronson Len Creason, also of Campbellsville,
Her stepmother: Mary Lois Underwood of Campbellsville,
Two brothers: Terry Underwood and Jimmy Underwood, both of Campbellsville,
Four grandchildren,
ANd a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Creason on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Keith Fields will be officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 23, after 10:00 AM until time for the service.

Mildred Walker of Brandywine, West Virginia, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Luther Columbus Bowman and Bessie Chappel Bowman, was born June 24, 1924 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:44 P.M., Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in Franklin, West Virginia. Age: 95
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Woodlawn Christian Church. Mildred also sang in the quartet, “Sunshine Girls”, for many years.
She was a former owner and operator of the Walker Bean Pot Restaurant and Brothers Restaurant, with her husband, Glen “Brother” Walker.
Mildred united in marriage to Glen “Brother” Walker November 20, 1965 and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son and one daughter: Roy Glen Walker and wife, Nancy of Campbellsville and Marilyn Sims of Brandywine, West Virginia; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Mildred was also preceded in death by one son and one daughter: Kerry Phillip Pike and Glenna Walker and a brother, Marion Bowman and a half-brother, Gene Bowman.

Mrs. Mildred Alien Shofner of Summersville passed from this life on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Jane Todd Hospital after an illness. Born on March 19, 1938 to the late Walter L. and Cora (Herron) Cox, she was 81 years, 8 months, and 26 days of age. Mrs Shofner was a beloved and cherished mother and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed.
She leaves to carry her legacy:
A husband: Alvin Shofner of Greensburg,
Nine children: Christopher Schultise of Lebanon, Wendell Shofner and wife Kim of Georgia, Donald Shofner and companion Lisa McGuffin of Campbellsville, Scott Shofner and wife Angela of Summersville, Alvin Shofner of Bardstown, Diane McDonald and husband George of Campbellsville, Theresa Goldsmith and husband Danny of Shepherdsville, Linda Smith and companion William Underwood of Greensburg, and Karen Montgomery and husband James of Campbellsville,
Two siblings: Sylvia Combs of Louisville, and Wanda Dillander of Greensburg,
Thirty-three grandchildren,
Seventy-seven great-grandchildren,
A close friend: Betty Shelby of Upton,
And a host of great-great grandchildren, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three children: Ronald Shofner, Mark Shofner, and Rita Gribbins; and six siblings: Hack, Buck, David, Kenneth, Ed, and Alien.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Shofner on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Feathersburg Church of God, 4571 Speck Ridge Rd, Elk Horn, KY 42733. Bro. Bobby O’Neil will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Callahan Cemetery beside the church.
The family will receive friends at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718 on Tuesday, December 17, from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Wednesday after 11:00 at the church.
