Zelma Irene (Waymon) Russell, 94, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Roby Waymon and Cora Ellen Waymon was born in Russell Springs, Kentucky, on November 4th, 1926, and departed this life on Saturday, November 7th, 2020, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Zelma
professed her faith in Christ and was of Baptist faith. She attended Speck
Ridge School in her early years of life. She worked at Fruit of the Loom
for many years prior to moving to Louisville, Kentucky, where she retired from
General Electric Manufacturing as a production worker.
She united
in marriage to Harlin Miller Christie in 1943, who precedes her in death in
1954. She united in marriage to Robert Allen Russell, who also precedes
her in death on January 16th, 2005.
Survived by four daughters and two sons: Beverly Irene Christie Kindrick of Louisville, Kentucky; Jane Christie Dunham of Cornelia, Georgia; Phyllis Joanne Christie Ross of Paducah, Kentucky; Patricia (Patti) Gail Christie Mays of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; Robert Allen Russell, Jr. of Taylorsville, Kentucky; and Danny Ray Russell of Kingsland, Georgia.
Survived by eleven grandchildren: Gerald (Gerry) Dunham, Jr., Christy Ross Roberson, David Eric Ross, Cindy G. Dunham Haynes, Scott L. Dunham, Taylor Mays Barr, Sarah Russell Kiser, Kaelin Christine Russell Hyle, Candace Russell Mullen, Brian White, and Andrea White Bloodworth, along with many great and great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Zelma was
also preceded in death by one sister, Rosie Milsap and one
grandchild, Angela Rae Brockman.
All services
are private for family only. Walk through visitation is requested from 10am
EST-12pm EST, Friday, November 13th, at Auberry
Funeral Home and Cremation Services in downtown Campbellsville.

Helen Walker, the daughter of the later Walter and Ruth (Kidwell) Taylor, was born January 30, 1934 in Taylor County and departed this life on Sunday, November 8, 2020 in Campbellsville at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab. She was 87 years of age. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom for over 40 years, a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She loved nature and feeding the squirrels, but most of all her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Clifford “Tom” Walker, two brothers and two sisters: Joe and Michael Taylor, Peggy Bishop and Florence Mitchell. Helen is survived by a daughter: Debbie Creason; a brother: Jim Taylor; a granddaughter: Katrina Creason; two great-grandchildren: Taylor and Dezerae Hatfield; two great-great grandchildren: Kingslii and Kailani and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Judy Gail Neighbors of Campbellsville was born in Adair County on August 14, 1947 to the late James and Verna Miller Agee. She departed this life on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, being 73 years, 2 months, and 24 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Christian faith. Mrs. Neighbors was a retired real estate agent, and loved to spend her time fishing with – or cooking for – her family. She leaves to cherish her memory: Five children: Jimmy Swallows and wife Tammy of Edinburg, Indiana, Tammy Bryant of Campbellsville, Jacquelynn Dinn of Raywick, Samantha Garrett and husband Robert Dale of Edinburg, Indiana, and Andy Rucker and wife Christy of Finley, Two brothers: Glenn Giles and wife Debbie, and Herman “Rufus” Giles, all of Edinburg, Indiana, Ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, Special friends: Shorty and Delores Newton of Campbellsville, And a host of other family and friends.
