Jack Eastridge

Jack Eastridge of Elk Horn, son of the late M. C. Eastridge and Dora Barr Eastridge, was born January 18, 1934 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 12:15 P.M., Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in Elk Horn. Age: 84
He professed faith in Christ and attended Mt. Zion Church of God. He had also served as a Deacon for thirty-one years while attending Mt. Washington Baptist Church.
Jack was a retired dairy and grain farmer and loved every aspect of farming, as well as hunting birds, raccoons and rabbits. When not out farming or hunting, he could be found sitting at the kitchen table, looking out at his cattle and the countryside. Even with such hardworking and honest traits, he was still a huge cut-up and loved to joke around.
He united in marriage to Wyeneth Humphress on December 24, 1953.
Besides his wife, Wyeneth Eastridge of Elk Horn, he is survived by four sons and one daughter: Terry Eastridge and wife, Kelly, Debbie Payne and husband, Travis “TJ” and Darrel Eastridge and wife, Lisa of Campbellsville, Greg Eastridge and wife, Janet of Catlettsburg and Doug Eastridge of Harriman, Tennesse; six grandchildren: Jonathan Eastridge and wife, Crystal and Susan Trimble and husband, Nick of Ashland, Cory Eastridge, Tyler Payne and RonniBeth Payne of Campbellsville and Jaclyn Ellis and husband, Austan of Bowling Green; one step-granddaughter, Amanda Luckett of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren: Zoey Trimble and Sadie Trimble of Ashland; two step-great-grandchildren: Abby Brisko and Drew Cross of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Donna Eastridge and four brothers and nine sisters: Malcolm Eastridge, Coy Eastridge, Bradley Eastridge, Arthur Eastridge, Gustene Smith, Rosa Robison, Edith Carroll, Edna Christie, Bonnie Thompson, Perna Carroll, Jewell Humphress, Irene Gabehart and Christine Gabehart.

Carmen Malone

Carmen Malone of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Shelby Lemmon and Betty Ann Brockman Lemmon, was born June 24, 1934 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:14 A.M., Monday, November 19, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 84
Carmen professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
As a homemaker, Carmen’s house was always very well kept and well organized. She truly enjoyed taking care of her family and that naturally carried over into her care of children at the Kiddieland Daycare where she was loved. Carmen also enjoyed spending time with friends and line dancing.
She united in marriage to William Logan “PeeWee” Malone , Jr. August 15, 1952 and he preceded her in death June 21, 2004.
She is survived by one son and one daughter: Ricky Malone and wife, Mona and Vickie Malone of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Andrea Prewitt and husband, Tom of Massillon, Ohio and Jason Malone and fiancée, Tiffany Cox of Campbellsville; three step-grandchildren: Elizabeth Williams and husband, Zac of Lexington, Chrissy Martin and husband, Saint of Richmond and Bekah Jeffries and husband, Justin of Lexington; four great-grandchildren: Logan Prewitt, Taylor Prewitt, Reese Prewitt and Lane Prewitt of Ohio; four step-great-grandchildren: Haley Williams, Tre Martin, Griffin Jeffries and Sebastian Jeffries; one brother, Ronnie Lemmon and wife, JoEllen of Campbellsville; one brother-in-law, Ancil Reynolds of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jewell Reynolds.
The Malone family would like to express their thanks for the care received by the Staffs at Grandview Nursing & Rehab, Taylor Regional Hospital, Dr. Dixon, Dr. Nelson and Dr. Graves.

Gerald Hodges “Hodge” Skaggs

Gerald Hodges “Hodge” Skaggs of Campbellsville, son of the late Ernest Hamilton Skaggs and Annie Elizabeth Matherly Skaggs was born November 26, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:30 P.M., Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Navy.
Hodge retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after some forty years of service.
He loved the outdoors and could often be found wading, fishing or hunting wild mushrooms when he was not spending time with his grandchildren and the rest of his family.
Hodge united in marriage to Dimple Sallee June 28, 1958 and she preceded him in death May 12, 1992.
He is survived by one daughter, Cindy Doss of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Andrea Smith Finn and husband, Jordan, Jackie Smith and Chelsey Doss Thompson of Campbellsville, Thomas Smith and wife, Chanelle of Louisville and Katie Doss Evans and husband, Dalen of Hendersonville, Tennessee; thirteen great-grandchildren: Kylee Cox, Evan Finn, Carson Smith, Camden Finn, Layne Fisher, Parker Hamilton, Owen Thompson, Kadynn Smith, Ella Ferguson, Willa Thompson, Dansby Thompson, Nash Evans and Merritt Smith; a special friend, Betty Myers; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Besides his wife, Dimple Skaggs he is preceded in death by a son, Jerry Thomas Skaggs; four brothers and one sister: Ted Skaggs, Thomas Hamilton Skaggs, Lee Skaggs, Jimmy Skaggs and Virginia Skaggs and a son-in-law, Jerry Doss.
