Edward Lee “Eddie” Haynes of Campbellsville, son of Gertrude Wright Haynes and the late George Lewis Haynes was born July 26, 1945 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 4:55 P.M., Friday, June 28, 2019 at his home. Age: 73
Eddie enjoyed helping with the family automotive shop and was a big UK basket- ball fan.
He is survived by his mother, Gertrude Wright Haynes; two brothers, Raymond Haynes and wife, Mildred and Gordon Haynes of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Suellen Haynes of Louisville; one nephew, Chad Haynes and wife, Amanda of Auburn, Kentucky; one niece, Amber Kay Hill and husband, Dartanya of Louisville and a special friend, Darlene Howard.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Haynes.

Roy W. Holt, 87

Mr. Roy W. Holt of the Mannsville community passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at his home. Son of the late Charlie and Annie (Hogan) Holt, he was 87 years, 6 months, and 15 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mannsville United Methodist Church. Mr. Holt was the owner of Holt’s Mobile Home Service, and managed its daily business affairs as long as his health allowed. He believed in serving the community and his Lord, and was a member of the Elkhorn Masonic Lodge #568 F&AM.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

His beloved wife: Mrs. Virginia (Edrington) Holt of Mannsville

Two children: Karen Bottoms and husband Allen of Campbellsville, and Wayne Holt of Bardstown,

Two grandchildren: Jenna Bottoms and Jakob Holt,

And a host of other family and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Holt on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home. Bro. John Hall and Bro. Fella Wilson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 28, from 6:00-9:00 PM. A Masonic service will be conducted on Friday at 7:00 PM. All Masons are asked to meet at the funeral home at 6:30.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to the Mannsville United Methodist Church. Those can be made in person at the funeral home.

Kenneth E. Atwood

Kenneth E. Atwood of Campbellsville, son of the late Charles F. Atwood and Gertie Mae Lee Atwood, was born May 13, 1935 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 10:12 P.M., Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Campbellsville. Age: 84
He was a professing Christian.
Kenneth was proud of being a self-taught builder and contractor and had constructed several houses. He had also worked as a dairy farmer.
Kenneth enjoyed camping and being on the water and showing his classic car for which he won several trophies.
He united in marriage to Connie Clearcy Cottrell March 22, 1993 and she preceded him in death May 30, 2006.
He is survived by four daughters and two sons: Kay Gaines, Kim McFarland and Donna Hall and husband, David of Campbellsville and Linda Seibers, Charles Atwood and Eugene Atwood of Ohio; four step-children: Sherry Goeke, Stephen Weddle, Richard Weddle and Roy Weddle of Ohio; eleven grandchildren: Ian Chase Seaborne, Jeremy Konnor McFarland, Chloe Hall, Frank Seibers, Jr., Benjamin Atwood, Charles Atwood, Jr., Rose Atwood, Emily Atwood, Lenia Atwood, Paul Atwood and Crystal Perez and husband, Rigo; several step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was the youngest of eight children and is survived by one sister, Rae Douglas of Liberty.
