William Derrell Willoughby, Sr, 78

Mr. William Derrell Willoughby, Sr, the son of the late William Andrew and Lolita Lambert Willoughby, was born Monday, September 4, 1939 in Scottsville, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Campbellsville at his home. He was 78 years, 10 months and 27 days of age.
He spent his adult life as a construction worker, having built highways and developed land for construction of buildings. He came to Campbellsville to attend Campbellsville College on a Basketball Scholarship and met the lady that became his wife, Virginia Lee “Ginny” Smothers, who preceded him in death.
Derrell, as most people knew him by enjoyed fishing, working in the garden, UK Basketball, listening to oldies music and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
He leaves to mourn his passing: a daughter: Tami Harmon and husband Kevin of Campbellsville: two brothers: Wendell Willoughby and wife Judy and Ted Willoughby all of Scottsville; three grandchildren: Lucas Parsons, Sarah Parsons and companion: Michael Moore and Wyatt Parsons and companion: Kimberly Swears all of Campbellsville; a great-grandchild: Isaiah Parsons and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son: William Derrell Willoughby, Jr.
A memorial service for William Derrell Willoughby, Sr, will be conducted Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
Visitation after 1:00 P.M. on Sunday until time for the service.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Foundation, which can be made at the funeral home.

Judy Cox Allen, 71

Mrs. Judy (Cox) Allen of Campbellsville was born on May 17, 1947 to the late Cyrus Murrell and Inez (Dever) Cox. She departed this life on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the Taylor Regional Hospital, being 71 years, 2 months, and 14 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Allen was a former beautician, and retired from the Fruit of the Loom plant after 30+ years of service. She was married to Mr. Robert Marshall Allen, Sr., who preceded her in death in 2008. She enjoyed reading and listening to music, and her beautiful singing voice will be dearly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

One daughter: Melinda Hubbard of Campbellsville,

A stepson: Marshall Allen, Jr. and wife Beth of Danville,

Seven siblings: Rachel Hovious, Freddie Cox, Catherine Cox, Beverly Cox, Becky Antle and husband Barry, Rhonda Ray, and Karen Squires and husband Ricky, all of Campbellsville,

Six grandchildren: Hayley Noel, Sean Noel and wife Lori, Sarah Allen, Corrina Allen, Amber Allen, and Elizabeth Allen,

Three great-grandchildren,

Two great-great grandchildren,

And a host of other family and close friends.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Anthony “Tony” Hubbard, and a former husband, Kenneth Amuel Hubbard.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Allen on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Jones Chapel Cemetery, 580 Bass Ridge Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 2, from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Mike Milby, Jr. 50

Mr. Michael Allen Milby, Jr. of Campbellsville passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Born on November 11, 1967 to Michael A. “Mike” Milby, Sr., and the late Theresa (Jacobs) Milby, he was 50 years, 8 months, and 18 days of age. Mr. Milby was a mechanic by trade, and worked on heavy equipment. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed race cars and fishing, and loved teaching his grandbabies about both.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

His father: Mike Milby, Sr. of Campbellsville,

Four children: Shara Milby and companion Jose Torres of Campbellsville, Jewel Jones and fiancé Ruben Southern of Indiana, Sara Milburn and husband Anthony of Campbellsville, and John Michael Milby of Ohio,

Twelve grandchildren,

His mother-in-law: Mary Jones of Campbellsville,

A nephew: Jordan Milby of Owensboro,

And a host of other family and close friends.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Wayne Milby.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Milby on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 12:00 PM EST (11:00 AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Jason Keltner will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 31, from 4:00-8:00 PM EST (3:00-7:00 PM CST).
