Barbara L Bell, Age 73

Barbara Lois Bell, 73 years, 7 months and 2 days of age, of Lebanon, formerly of Campbellsville, died Monday, January 15, 2018 at her home in Lebanon after an extended illness.

Barbara was born in Louisville on June 13, 1944, the daughter of the late James Winford and Altha Allen Buster.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bennie Jackson and a brother, Donnie DeSpain.  Barbara served her family well for many years as a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are her children, Todd Buster of Bardstown, Stephanie Jackson and Melissa Bryant and her lifelong companion, Perry Jackson all of Lebanon.    Also surviving is a brother, Larry DeSpain and a sister, Frances Cooke, both of Campbellsville, a sister-in-law, Peggy Lee of Lebanon and 11 grandchildren, Anthony Bell, Brandon Rhinehart, James Buster, Lena Milburn, Joseph Milburn, Jonathan Rhinehart, Joshua Kaiser, Joshua Hourigan, Samantha Jackson, Brandy York and Cameron Buster as well as 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Barbara L. Bell will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Noon at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.   Burial will follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with caskets bearers being, James Buster, Kyle Milburn, Brandon Rhinehart, Anthony Bell, David Gilbert, Jerry Bryant and Joshua Hourigan.

Family requests visitation from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Daryl Dearen of Campbellsville, son of George Dearen and the late Joyce Adams Dearen, was born November 1, 1960, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 15, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 57
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church.
Daryl was born and raised on the family farm and continued farming with his father, George.
He is survived by his father, George Dearen and friend, Tibby Altman of Campbellsville; one sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Michael Morrison of Paris, Kentucky; two nephews: Zane Michael Morrison and wife, Genee of Santa Cruz, California and Zachary Todd Morrison and wife, Susan of Cincinnati, Ohio; one great-niece, Georgia Rose Morrison; and many other relatives and friends.

Izzie Brooks, 84

Izzie Brooks, the daughter of the late Larkin F and Leota Mary Jane Hincher Brooks, was born Monday, January 30, 1933 in Traphill, NC and departed this life on Friday, January 12, 2018 in Campbellsville, KY at her home. She was 84 years, 11 months and 14 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a former waitress.
Survivors include her children: Samuel David Brooks of Campbellsville, BeeBee Parker of Kansas, Thomas Brooks and Elsie Rachel Garcia both of California, Donald Brooks and Peggy Sue Hayes both of Texas and John Brooks of North Carolina and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by a son: Glenn E. Hayes and all eight of her siblings.
At the request of Mrs. Brooks, cremation rites were entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville, KY.
There will be no formal services at this time.
