Bonnie Johnson

Bonnie Johnson of Louisville, formerly of Finley, daughter of the late Donzie Wilcher and Ruby Mae Shipp Wilcher, was born August 10, 1945 in Marion County, Kentucky.   She died at 11:57 A.M., Friday, October 25, 2024 in Louisville.  Age:  79

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

Bonnie was a homemaker and a caregiver for her son, Wayne.

She united in marriage to Phillip Johnson May 16, 1964 and he preceded her in death August 24, 2019.

She is survived by one son, Wayne Johnson of Louisville; three brothers and five sisters:  James “Fuzz” Wilcher, Donzie Wilcher, Jr., Randall Wilcher, Myrtle “Ted” Buckman, Jeanette “Tootsie” Kays, Helen Newcome, Virginia Moore and Louise Wright; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Bonnie was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters:  Thomas Wilcher, Laurence Wilcher, Carl Wilcher, Mitchell Dean Wilcher in infancy, Ruth Ann Buckman and Rita Wise.

Barbara Kerr Murphy

Barbara Kerr Murphy of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Finis McMahan and Nona Hinton McMahan, was born November 28, 1934 in Green County, Kentucky.   She died at 5:37 P.M., Sunday, October 27, 2024 in Lexington.      Age:  89

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Barbara was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and was a retired employee of Taylor Regional Hospital.

She united in marriage to George Murphy January 15, 2011.

Besides her husband, George Murphy of Campbellsville, Barbara is survived by two sons:  Billy Joe Kerr and John Kerr and wife, Donna of Campbellsville; one step-son, Richie Murphy and wife, Susan of Lebanon; three grandchildren:  Daniel Wyatt and wife, Vel, Lyndi Hagan and Leann Kerr Bland; eight great-grandchildren:  Kelsi Bland, RaiLee Hagan, Mariah Cable, Jaxon Bland, Leah Kerr, Gabriel Kerr, Wayne Gilpin and wife, Frankie and Chris Gilpin and wife, Andrea; nine great-great-grandchildren:  Abell Garrett, Jordan Gilpin, Wyatt Gilpin, Kinley Edelen, Wesson Edelen, Oaklin Begley, Knox Begley, Lukas Gilpin and Jasper Gilpin; one sister, Juanita Feamster and husband, Allen of California; one son-in-law, Lloyd Morris; one brother-in-law, Darrel Cox of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Barbara was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Tyann Morris September 25, 2024; a grandson, David Kerr and one brother and two sisters:  Randall McMahan, Carolyn Woods and Rebecca Cox; and daughter-in-law, Sandra Kerr.

Beverly Renee Druin

Beverly Renee Druin of Shelbyville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of Ann Druin and the late Lanny Druin, was born January 25, 1967 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:17 P.M., Friday, October 25, 2024 in Louisville.         Age: 57

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Shelbyville and was a former member of Woodlawn Christian Church in Campbellsville.

Beverly was an employee of the State of Kentucky as a Program Analyst and wrote policies for the Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program, also known as KTAP.

Beverly enjoyed reading books, going to concerts and Louisville Athletics, but most importantly valued her faith and loved her family. She loved spending time with her grandkids who called her “Granny Bev” and always made a point to attend her son Zack’s games when he was both a player, and a coach.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Zack Mings and wife, Shelby of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Druin Tate Mings, and Mattison Leigh Mings; her nephews, Clay Druin of Lexington, and Kyle Druin of Bardstown; her mother, Ann Druin of Campbellsville; one brother, Jeff Druin and wife, Angela of Bardstown; and many other relatives and friends.
