James Lewis Brown of Greensburg, the son of the late James Brown and Myrtie Taylor Brown, was born February 26, 1954 in Campbellsville, and departed this life on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in Greensburg at the Jane Todd Hospital. He was 71 years of age.
He was a truck driver, having worked for Keyboard Carriage and Rogers Trucking and was of the Baptist Faith.

James Lewis enjoyed grilling, cooking and spending time with family, friends and his fur babies, Toby, Dodi and Baby.
Survivors include one daughter: Angie Brown Hunt and Husband Jimmy of Finley; his sisters: Patty Milby, Clara Bagby, Betty Farmer, Mable Houston, Kathy Sharp and husband Joe, Beverly Brown, Deanna Bland, and Rhonda Dickens, all of Campbellsville and Susie Riggs and husband Richard of Lebanon; a grandchild: Jami McCormick and husband Tom of Elizabethtown; three great-grandchildren: Lexi Hall, Gabi and Madi McCormick; his fur babies: Toby, Dodi and Baby and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Diane (Lobb) Brown in 2019, two brothers and two sisters: Billy Ray “Goat” Brown, Richard Lynn “Ricky” Brown, Pearl Turpin, and Emma Lee.
The funeral service for James Lewis Brown will be Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Interment to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. John Tyler Bagby will be officiating.
Family requests visitation on Monday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Gladys Roberts of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ira Wise and Sarah Phillips Wise, was born August 16, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:22 P..M., Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 95
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church where she was the church musician for fifty and one-half years.
Gladys was a retired banking employee with Citizens Bank and Trust Company after thirty-seven years of service.
She united in marriage to James Wade Roberts January 17, 1953 and he preceded her in death June 21, 2013.
Gladys is survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Willard Wise, Willie Wise, Valus Wise, Mary Bernice Wise and Mary Jane Wise.

Rosemary Marie Lamer of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late William John Osinger and Sarah Perez Gutierrez was born on March 21, 1954, in Chicago, IL, and departed this life on May 20, 2025, at the Liberty Care Center in Liberty, KY, surrounded by her family. She was 71 years of age.
She was of the Catholic Faith and attended the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Rosemary’s life was a testament to her strong belief in the Lord, and her love for Him was evident in all she did. Rosemary was one of the kindest souls — she raised her children, grandchildren, and every bonus kid who came into her life with love, compassion, and unwavering care. She had a special place in her heart for BINGO nights, especially with friends and family. She could not pass up a good yard sale or a day of bargain shopping.
The loss of Rosemary is felt by many, but her presence will continue in the hearts of those who knew her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harry Lamer, Sr., and two brothers, Billy Osinger, and Ronald Osinger.
She is survived by her four children: Bobbie Jo Lamer (Stephanie) of Lebanon, Dennis James Lamer of Campbellsville, Glenn Lamer (Theresa) of Elk Horn, and Robert Lamer, Jr. and his significant other Jamie Logsdon of Campbellsville, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also, surviving is her significant other, Thomas Barnes of Campbellsville, two sisters: Patricia Delgado of Lebanon, and Deborah Simmons of Chicago along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Rosemary Marie Lamer on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family has requested visitation on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5-8 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel.
