Matt Falls

Matt Falls, 57, of Campbellsville, son of Douglas Hardy Falls and the late Jeriann Berry Falls was born July 5th, 1967 in Lapeer, Michigan. He departed this life on Friday, March 28th, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.
Matt was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed traveling and scuba diving. He loved hunting and enjoyed cattle farming. Matt was a pharmacist who served as a District Health and Wellness Market Director for more than 33 years at Walmart stores throughout Kentucky. Matt professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elkhorn Baptist Church. He loved serving his church through volunteering.

Matt is survived by:
His significant other, Michelle Willhite of Louisville
Two children: MaCayla Falls and Hunter Falls, both of Campbellsville
Two brothers: Scott Falls and his wife, Sharon, of Troy, Missouri; and Tim Falls of Campbellsville
Three nephews: Brandon Falls, Nathaniel Falls, Bryan Falls, all of Troy, Missouri
A host of other family and friends

VISITATION: Friday, April 4th, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Elkhorn Baptist Church.

VISITATION: Saturday, April 5th, 2025 beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service at Elkhorn Baptist Church.

FUNERAL: Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at 11:00 am at Elkhorn Baptist Church with burial to follow at Pine Grove Church Cemetery. Bro. Brian Rafferty will be officiating. Auberry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

PALLBEARERS: Scott Falls, Hunter Falls, Brandon Falls, Nathan Falls, Bryan Falls, and Stacy Martion

Patricia Ann Walton

Patricia Ann Walton of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Arnold Coleman and Maxine Murrell Clark, was born March 2, 1947, in Louisville, KY, and departed this life March 28, 2025, at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. She was 78 years of age.

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed sewing, woodworking, coloring, quilting and all types of arts and crafts.

She is survived by three children: Zandell “Ziggy” Newton and Holly Avial, both of Campbellsville, and Dallas Newton of Indiana. 2 grandchildren: Alissia Terry (Michael), and Jeddi Chastain and girlfriend Alicia all of Campbellsville. 10 great-grandchildren: Amaya, Brenden, Michael, Clarissa, Samuel, Riley, Ryder, Zandell, D’Laynie, and Xavier.  Also surviving are her adoptive parents: Dallas and Virginia Price.

The Funeral Service for Patricia Ann Walton will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel.

Bro. Dickie Rogers will be officiating.

The family has requested visitation on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 9:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to be donations to the Taylor County SPCA or The Alzheimer’s Foundation.

Eugene “Gene’ Fred Taube

Eugene “Gene” Fred Taube of Campbellsville, the son of the late Fred Taube and Blanche Holcomb Taube, was born in Knox County, IN, on June 17, 1931, and departed this life on March 25, 2025, in Campbellsville. He was 93 years of age.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church and had also served as Assistant Minister of Pastoral Care in Michigan, and also served as an Elder. He was a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Army in Korea. He was a factory worker and a former employee at Dollywood. He loved gardening, cooking, landscaping, and reading. He also loved playing board games and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Hedy Herter Taube, having united in marriage on July 13, 1957. Three children: Butch Taube (Rhonda) of Texas, Vicki Barnes (Bruce) of Florida, and Scott Taube (Beth) of Campbellsville. 5 grandchildren: Ryan Taube (Terri) Marc Taube and Fiancé Lindsey, Heather Bruno (Zach), Lindsey Hines (Stephen), Kayla Stultz (David). 6 great-grandchildren: Haylea Taube, Aiden Bruno, Carter Hines, Aubree Hines, Maizie Taube, and Adalinn Stultz.

Also surviving is one sister, Bonnie Florey of Michigan.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Micah Bruno, one sister, and one brother, Doris Buck and Bill Taube.

The family has chosen cremation, and there will be no services.
