Kenneth Parker Ewing of Campbellsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on December 31, 2015 at the age of 80. He was born on May 24, 1935 to his parents, the late Cash and Georgia Cooley Ewing of Bradfordsville.
Kenneth professed faith in Christ and was an active member of Campbellsville Christian Church in numerous ways including: Sunday School teacher, deacon, elder, Sunday School superintendent and an elder emeritus.
He was a graduate of Bradfordsville High School, Campbellsville College in 1955 and the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture in 1962. Kenneth participated in basketball during high school and while attending Campbellsville College. He also served as the Southern States regional agronomy supervisor at Campbellsville and was chairman of the Youth Education Committee of Kentucky Council of Cooperatives during 1975. He also was a member of the City Council for 9 years.
Kenneth was an Agronomist with the Southern States Cooperative for over 41 years.
He served his country honorably in the Army Reserves for 6 years.
He united in marriage to Patricia Adams on January 3, 1959.
Besides his wife of 57 years, Patricia Adams Ewing of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and one daughter: James “Jim” Ewing and wife, Charlotte of Nicholasville, Joseph Kenneth Ewing of Louisville and Jeanna Parker Ewing Godsted and husband, Mike of Crystal Lake, Illinois; four grandchildren: Samantha Godsted, Christopher Godsted and Zoe Godsted of Crystal Lake, Illinois and Nicholas Scott Ewing of Fort Worth, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Among those that have preceded him in death are one brother and one sister: Clyde E. Ewing and Marie Ewing Dever.

Mr. Odell Keith Dotson of Campbellsville was born on March 31, 1951 to the late Jake and Bessie (Martin) Dotson in Greensburg. He departed this life on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. He was 64 years, 8 months, and 29 days of age. Mr. Dotson was a farmer and construction worker by trade. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
His wife: Carol S. (Wethington) Dotson
Five children: Jamie Cook, Robert Dotson and wife Carolyn, Carol Lynn Dotson and husband Justin Teel, Roger Dale Dotson, and Jonathon Dotson, all of Campbellsville,
Three siblings: Helen Wooldridge Jones and husband Mike, John Dotson, and Delbert Dotson, all of Campbellsville,
Eleven grandchildren,
One great-grandchild,
Close friends: Timmy Dickens, Kevin Davis, and Brian Davis,
And a host of other extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Odell Dotson on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 1:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Interment will follow in the Otter Creek Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 30, from 5-8 PM.

Phyllis Jean Waymon, age 70, of Campbellsville, formerly of Edinburgh, IN died Friday, December 25, 2015 in Campbellsville.
She had lived in Campbellsville for the past six years after moving from Indiana where she worked for Toys R Us. While living in Campbellsville, she attended Elkhorn Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Junior Waymon, four sons, Doug Waymon and his wife, Linda, of Indiana, David Waymon and his wife, Candy of Radcliff, Chris Waymon of Campbellsville and Matt Waymon and his wife, Cindy of Indiana and fifteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday, December 29th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Elliott Cemetery.
The family request visitation from 5 to 8 pm Monday, December 28th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
