Henry K. Cox, age 35, of Anna Court Campbellsville, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at his residence.He was preceded in death by his father, James Thomas Cox.He is survived by his mother, Wilma Cox Sluder, of Campbellsville, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Cecil and Patty Cox of Louisville, Timothy and Bucky Sluder of Campbellsville, one sister and brother-in-law, Cary and Mark Jenkins of Florida.Funeral services for Henry K. Esther Whitehead of Anna Court, Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Frederick Rham and Susie Margaret Collins Rham was born February 14, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio. She died at 9:09 A.M. Tuesday,June 28, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 82 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. She is survived by five daughters and two sons: Faye Snow LaFever of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Doris Jean Anderson, Suzanne Dickens and Carol Porter of Campbellsville, Darlene Ferrell of Liberty, James Obie Whitehead of Lebanon and Bobby Neal Whitehead of Louisville; nine grandchildren: ten great-grandchildren: many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son and one daughter: Jack Snow and Juanita Whitehead; one grandson, Ronnie Lynn Porter; her adoptive parents, George and Margaret Yarbury.FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M. Forest O. Bland of North Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late Alonza Bland and Eliza Breeding Bland was born in Iowa, December 5, 1905. He died at 4:10 P.M., Friday, July 1, 2005, in Campbellsville. Age: 99 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He united in marriage to Altha Newton January 27, 1923. They were married for some eighty-two years.Besides his wife, Altha Bland of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Ruth Meadows and her husband, J. D. of Campbellsville, Frances Shofner of Shively, and Ralph Bland of Valley Station; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren- fifteen great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers: Carrie Carroll, Leo Moorehouse, Mary Bland, Odell Bland, and Owen Bland. Cordelia Wilkerson of Meadow Creek Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late John T. Johnson and Flettie Atchley Johnson, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, December 9, 1916. She died at 9:18 P.M., Sunday, July 3, 2005, in Campbellsville. Age: 88 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Millers Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She united in marriage to Jess W. Wilkerson December 18, 1934. He preceded her in death May 20, 1995. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Goff of Campbellsville; daughter-in-law, Linda Wilkerson Gabehart of Campbellsville; three granddaughters and their husbands: Tena and Woody Weatherford, Tonya and Tom Haines, and Donna and Terry White of Campbellsville; seven great-grandchildren: J.T. Weatherford and wife, Jessica, Jessica Weatherford, Anthony White, Ashley White, Lauren Haines, Elizabeth Haines, and Emily Haines of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Colby Wilkerson August 2, 1987 and four sisters and one brother: Mary Gaines, Lottie Clark, Clara Clark, Bessie Rice, and Aubrey Johnson. Katie Sprowles of Levelwood Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Johnnie Nelson and Bettie Thompson Nelson, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, December 29, 1905. She died at 11:20 P.M., Sunday, July 3, 2005, in Campbellsville. Age: 99 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Willie R. Sprowles February 28, 1931. He preceded her in death February 10, 2001. She is survived by two sons and one daughter and their spouses: Olyn and Cozetta Sprowles, Wayne and Helen Sprowles, and Myrtle and Billy Grimes of Campbellsville; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Effie Lewis of Louisville, Connie Hall of Greensburg, and Norma Jean Wise of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
