Jim Wilson of Arbor Lane, Campbellsville, son of the late Jack Wilson and Bernice Buckie Wilson Buchanan was born March 19, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri. He died at 8:50 A.M., Monday, September 29, 2003 in Campbellsville. Age: 78 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Orinton, Missouri. He retired from the United States Navy after twenty-one years of active duty, having served in World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He served as Taylor County Deputy Jailer for fourteen years and he was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He united in marriage to Elma Perkins January 20, 1962. Besides his wife, Elma Wilson of Arbor Lane, Campbellsville, he is survived by one brother, John Watson Buchanan of Wichita, Kansas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Donnie Mings

Donnie Mings of Hauula, Hawaii, formerly of Campbellsville, son of Ray Mings and Mattie Roberts Mings was born March 8, 1939, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:20 P.M., Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at a cancer treatment center in Mexico. Age: 64.He professed faith in Christ, was baptized and became a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church. He was the missionary minister of the Hauula Church of Christ for the last 27 years. Prior to that he served as a missionary for 14 years in Osaka, Japan, where he also taught at Osaka Bible Seminary. He united in marriage to Charlotte Gossett December 10, 1960 at the Pricetown Church of Christ, Pricetown, Ohio. Besides his wife, Charlotte Mings of Hauula, Hawaii, he is survived by one son and one daughter, Sheri Kuha and husband Harold of Kailua, Hawaii and Jeffrey Mings of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; five grandchildren: Justin, Jessica, Johnna, Josiah and Jocelyn Kuha of Kailua, Hawaii; parents, Ray and Mattie Mings of Campbellsville; two brothers and one sister: Lonnie and wife Coral Mings of Israel, Dale and wife Patty Mings of Eastview, Kentucky, and Carol and husband Mike Cornelison of Whitehouse, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services: 1. 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 1, 2003, at the Campbellsville Christian Church by Joe Hatchett and Paul Patton 2. 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 2, 2003 at Pricetown Church of Christ, Pricetown, Ohio BURIAL: 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 3, 2003 at Barker Cemetery in Pricetown, Ohio. VISITATION: After 5:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, after 9:00 A.M, Wednesday at the Campbellsville Christian Church, and 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. He was a retired farmer.
