John Raymond Miller of Forest Hills Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late James Luther Miller and Mary Catherine Wilson Miller was born in Taylor County, Kentucky October 5, 1919. He died at 5:10 P.M., Thursday, August 7, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 83 He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith. He retired as a foreman from Tennessee Gas Transmissions. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Pauline Wright January 20, 1940. She preceded him in death June 19, 2003. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by one son in infancy: Stanley Lewis Miller;three sisters and one brother: Gladys Leftwich, Mattie Alma Walls, Virginia Newton and Russell Miller. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Sunday, August 10, 2003 at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Ron Ferree. Louise Parrott Buchanan of West Main Street, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Fred L. Parrott and Bessie Young Parrott was born, July 2, 1914 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 5, 2003 in Campbellsville. Age: 89 She was a licensed Funeral Director and associated with the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home for more than sixty-one years, and a teacher at the Campbellsville Elementary School.She professed faith in Christ and was a life long member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Henry Allen Buchanan, October 19, 1951. Besides her husband, Henry Allen Buchanan of West Main Street, Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons: William Owen Buchanan and Fred Buchanan both of Louisville; one step-son: Henry A. Buchanan III of Sarasota, Florida; one sister and one brother and his wife: Helen Simpson and Walter Lee Parrott and his wife, Rose all of Greensburg; sister-in-law: Joyce Parrott of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. #65279;Kathryn BradshawMrs. Kathryn Bradshaw, age 68, of North Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville, died Saturday, August 2, 2003 at the U of L. Hospital in Louisville after an illness.She was the daughter of the late James and Carrie Redman Rooks of Adair County. She was a retired employee of the Fruit of The Loom Company and a member of the SouthCampbellsville Baptist Church. Mrs. Bradshaw was preceded in death by her husband and one sister, Dallas Bradshaw and Evelyn Foster.Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her son, Steve Bradshaw of Campbellsville, two brothers and one sister, James Rooks Jr. of Campbellsville, Travis Rooks of Tennessee and Maxine Cobb of Mt. Washington. Several other relatives and a host of friends also survive.Funeral services for Kathryn Bradshaw were conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Brookside Cemetery.Brother Mitchell Bradshaw officiated.

John E. Bailey of Jackson Street, Campbellsville, son of the late Lawrence England Bailey and Mary Gowdy Bailey was born April 15, 1912, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:25 P.M., Wednesday, July 30, 2003, in Campbellsville.Age: 91 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethel First Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the United States Army.He was retired from the United States Postal Service.He united in marriage to Lois Calvert June 8, 1958. Besides his wife, Lois Bailey of Jackson Street, Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters and two sons and their spouses: Elizabeth and James Trendel of Lansing, Michigan, Johnny Bailey of Washington, D.C., Lisa and John Thomas and Jack and Becky Bailey of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren: Chris Trendel of Clarksville, Indiana, Debbie Derosia and Jason Trendel of Lansing, Michigan, Ryan Bailey, Alan Bailey, Allison Bailey, Tara Thomas and Brandon Thomas of Campbellsville and Chad Wilson of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Harold Bailey, Gowdy Bailey, Dorothy Sims and Annabell Smith. Edward Dalton McFarland of Louisville, son of the late William Bryan McFarland and Bertha Gardner McFarland was born May 23, 1934 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 25, 2003, in Louisville. Age 69.He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Brookview Baptist Church.He was a retired self-employed building contractor. He united in marriage to Frances Wilson in September, 1964. Besides his wife, Frances McFarland of Louisville, he is survived by two daughters and two sons: Lisa Kendall, Deloris Kunzler, and Gary Wininger of Elizabethtown; Robert Wininger of Mesa, Arizona; one brother and one sister: J.
