W. Hardin Morris of Kristi Lane Campbellsville, formerly of the Mac Community in Taylor County, son of the late Luther Andy Morris and Naoma Martin Morris was born October 14, 1921, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2003 in Campbellsville. Age: 81 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was a retired Rural Mail Carrier after twenty-six years and served as a magistrate on the Taylor County Fiscal Court from 1969 to 1989. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the United States Navy. He united in marriage to Addie Carlisle December 20, 1939. She preceded him in death June 27, 1990. He is survived by three daughters and their spouses: Velda and Charles Beams of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Patricia and Garry Blakeman and Kathy and Terry Lawson of Campbellsville; one granddaughter: Karla Beams of Old Hickory, Tennessee; many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by one brother, Wilburn B. Morris in infancy. FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 31st at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Otis Skaggs, Rev. J. Alvin Hardy and Dr. Gary Ervin. BURIAL: Mt. Christine Humphress of Valley View Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Carl Hoosier and Nettie Davis Hoosier was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 18, 1926. She died at 10:15 A.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2003, in Elizabethtown. Age: 76 She professed faith in Christ and attended the Cold Springs Primitive Baptist Church. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom where she worked for thirty-seven years.She united in marriage to Joe Humphress March 14, 1944. Besides her husband, Joe Humphress of Valley View Drive, Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons and one daughter and their spouses: Benny and Phyllis Humphress, Mike and Linda Humphress of Campbellsville, and Sue and Gordon Perkins of Trafalgar, Indiana; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Winfrey Hoosier of Brooks, Kentucky, Delores Cawthorn of Summitville, Indiana, and Shirley Sullivan of Greensburg, Kentucky; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers: Naomi Sidebottom, Evelyn Greer, Kenneth Hoosier, Lester Hoosier, Roger Hoosier and Don Hoosier. Maxine Lyons of Anna Court, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Thomas Webb and Mary Eliza Willis Webb, was born October 19, 1933, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:10 P.M., Friday, July 25, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 69 She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She united in marriage to James Lyons June 14, 1954, he preceded her in death August 7, 2001.She is survived by one daughter: Sandra White of Campbellsville; two grandsons and their spouses: David and Tammy White and Damon and Tammy Whitlock White of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Mylea Shae White, Tanner Brae White and Gary Dayton White of Campbellsville; one brother: Marshall Webb of Campbellsville; several other relatives and many other friends.
