Shelby Roberts of South Central Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late Elbert Roberts and Allie Hunter Roberts was born August 17, 1914 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:00 A.M., Sunday, July 27, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 88 He professed faith in Christ and attended the First Church of God. He was a retired employee of Fruit of The Loom.He united in marriage to Annie Eastridge, August 17, 1935. Besides his wife, Annie Roberts of South Central Avenue, Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Marilyn Garner and Jewell Corbin of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Tommy Corbin of Campbellsville, Gina Wilber of Wagner, South Carolina and Stephanie Garner of Boston, Massachusetts; two great-grandchildren: Jennifer Garner of Campbellsville and Jamie Wilber of Lexington, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son and three daughters: John Wesley Roberts, Norma Faye Roberts, Betty Lou Roberts and Bonnie Sue Roberts; two brothers and two sisters: Herman Roberts, Grover Roberts, Nellie Mae Roberts and Purnie Lou Roberts. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 29th, at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro. Colin McDaniel and Bro. Brad Epperson. #65279;Evelyn FosterMrs. Evelyn Foster, age 71, of Druin Street, Campbellsville, died Monday, July 21, 2003 at the Metzmeier Nursing Home after an illness.She was the daughter of the late James and Carrie Redman Rooks. She was a retired employee of the Fruit Of The Loom of Campbellsville and she was a member of the SaintMarks United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Foster and one daughter, Linda Sue Morgan.She is survived by two daughters, Beverly McMahan and Brenda Songer both of Campbellsville, four grandchildren Jessie Morgan, Melissa Durham, Joshua Wise and McKenzy Dixon, two great-grandchildren, Courtney Morgan and Jannah Davis, twobrothers and two sisters, James Rooks Jr. of Campbellsville, Travis Rooks of Tennessee, Maxine Cobb of Mount Washington and Katherine Bradshaw of Campbellsville. Several other relatives and a host of friends also survive.Funeral services for Evelyn Foster will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. #65279;Mrs. Adeline White Rice, age 81, of Junell Street, Elizabethtown, formerly of Campbellsville, died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at the Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness.She was the daughter of the late Brack White and Ada Smith White of Taylor County. Mrs. Rice was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was an active member of thesenior choir and a retired employee of the Union Underwear Company. She was preceded in death by one brother, Woodrow White, and five sisters, Louise Sanders, Lorine Frazier,Loretta Smith, Isabelle Penick and Dorothy Williams.She is survived by one daughter, Cornella Price Stewart of Elizabethtown, one grand- daughter, Aliesel Rebecca Myers and one great-grandson, Lance Buttermore also ofElizabethtown. Several other relatives also survive along with a host of friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Adeline White Rice will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 8, 2003, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Brookside Cemetery.Reverend George P. Lee III officiated.The family request visitation from 6 to 9 P.M. She was a member of the Merrimac Methodist Church and she was an employee of Krogers in Campbellsville.She is survived by her husband, Paul Hunt of Campbellsville, son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Tammy Hunt and one daughter, Sherry Cox all of Campbellsville, two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren, Brother, Raymond Gribbins along with four sisters, Maurene Seaborne, Louise Gribbins, Tammy Rainwater and Kimberley Cox all of Campbellsville .Her mother-in-law Della Hunt also servives along with several other relatives and friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Alene Hunt were conducted at 11:00 A.M.
