Eugene Russell of Lakeview Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Owen Russell and Flory Brockman Russell, was born November 16, 1935, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 6:07 A.M., Thursday, June 26, 2003, in Campbellsville.Age: 67.He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.He served his country honorably in the United States Army.He was the principal owner of Wholesale Hardwood Interiors of Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Mary Ann Curry December 15, 1956.Besides his wife, Mary Ann Russell of Lakeview Drive, Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Kenny Phillips of Campbellsville, one granddaughter, Amber Phillips of Campbellsville, his mother-in-law, Florence Curry of Campbellsville; one niece and her husband, Sandy and Ted Hesser of Mays Landing, New Jersey; an aunt, Ruth Harden of Bowling Green, two great-nephews, Doug Hesser and David Hesser of Mays Landing, New Jersey, and many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Billy Russell, Edward Russell, Dorothy Russell, Aylene Wetzel, Murrell Russell and Harold Penn Russell.FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 28th, at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Pastor Wayne Brooks and Rev. #65279;Mr. William Leon Christie, age 87, of Main Street, Greensburg, Kentucky, died Thursday, June 26, 2003, at the Norton Hospital in Louisville after an illness.He is survived by one daughter, Margaret Christie Thomas of Greensburg, two grandsons, Bart Thomas of Independence, Kentucky, and Daniel L Thomas of Bowling Green (PRESENTLY STATIONTIONED WITH THE ARMED FORCES IN BOSNIA). Three great-grandchildren Molly, Daniel and Benjamin Thomas also survive along with several other relatives and a host of friends.Funeral services for Mr. William Leon Christie will be held at 1:00 P.M. Mrs. Shofner was a member of the Jesus Name Church and a housewife. Besides her parents shewas preceded in death by one sister, Helen Hash.Mrs. Shofner is survived by her husband, Eddie Shofner, two sons and five daughters, Daryl Shofner of Winchester, Dale Shofner and Deborah Rakes both of Lebanon, HildaGarner, Sandra Keltner, Linda Atwood and Donna Shofner all of Campbellsville. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive along with two sisters, MaryMarcum of Campbellsville and Ethel Cox of Indiana.
