Edna L. Banks, age 81, of Jackson Towers, Campbellsville, died Monday, May 6, 2002, at the Taylor County Hospital after an illness. She is survived by one sister, Olive Banks of Columbia, Kentucky. Two nieces, Melba Hay of Richmond, Kentucky and Betty Bradshaw of Columbia and one great-nephew, Tommy Wayne Bradshaw of Columbia. Funeral services for Edna L. Banks will be held at 2:00 P.M. E.S.T., Wednesday,May 8, 2002, at the Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Russell County Memorial Gardens. The family request visitation from 6 to 9 P.M. E.S.T. Tuesday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in Campbellsville.

Mrs. Doris Grammar, age 86, of Old Lebanon Road, Campbellsville, died Monday, May 6, 2002, at the Medco Nursing Home after an illness. She is survived by one son and two daughters, Thomas Marcum Grammar and Peggy Wilcoxson both of Campbellsville and Betty Carrico of Louisiana. Eight grandchildren, fivegreat-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild also survives along with one sister, Eunice Milby of Springfield, Illinois. Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Grammar will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 9, 2002, at the Bethel First Presbyterian Church with burial in the Campbellsville MemorialGardens. Nancy B. Gaines of Crescent Hill Manor, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Olie Breeding and Lyda Gilpin Breeding was born November 22, 1909, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 5:45 A.M., Saturday, May 4, 2002, in Campbellsville.Age: 92.She had professed in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse.She is survived by one son and one daughter and their spouses: Paul D. and Wanda Gaines of Horse Cave and Jane and Robert Earl Fisher of Campbellsville; two daughters-in-law: Jean Gaines of Louisville and Joan Gaines of Phoenix, Arizona, and ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.She was also preceded in death by three sons: Danny Richard Gaines on July 18, 1945, Billie T. Gaines on October 13, 1994, and Rev. Bobby Gaines on June 27, 2000; one great grandson Jonathan Clark on September 23, 2000, and two sisters, Lucille Hamilton and Pauline Jessie. Agnes Shofner Bell Mrs. Agnes Shofner Bell, age 90, of Pine Road, Buffalo, Ky., formerly of Campbellsville died Monday, April 29, 2002 at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg after an illness. She is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Donna Wood of Campbellsville, Marjorie and Gerald Purvis of Buffalo, Ky.
