Mae Hedgespeth of Duffy Street, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Henry Edward Morris and Rena Bailey Morris was born August 15, 1906, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:45 P.M., Monday, April 22, 2002, in Campbellsville.Age: 95.She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.She was formerly the Post Mistress at White Rose and an employee of Metzmeier Nursing Home.She united in marriage to Hobert Hedgespeth March 21, 1923. He preceded her in death, June 8, 1956.She is survived by one daughter and three sons and their spouses: Frances and Floyd Hash, Forster and Lula Mae Hedgespeth, Lilburn and Eleanor Hedgespeth and Ralph and Mary Ellen Hedgespeth of Campbellsville; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.She was also preceded in death by three sons: Clifton Edmon Hedgespeth in 1953, Ronald Keith Hedgespeth in 1955 and Terry Hedgespeth on October 12, 1966; and two brothers and one sister: Luther Andy Morris, Thomas Morris and Katherine French.FUNERAL SERVICES:2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 24th, at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Jessie Williams Hash Wood, of Hathaway Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Lee Young and Clyde Jones Young was born January 10, 1918, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Monday, April 22, 2002, in Campbellsville. Age: 84.She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.She was former office deputy for the Taylor County Sheriff Department, Tax Collector for the Campbellsville Independent School System and Taylor County Bookmobile Librarian. She united in marriage to P. T. Williams in 1942, who preceded her in death.She united in marriage to James J. Hash June 9, 1951. He preceded her in death January 16, 1969.She united in marriage to John Merlin Wood Jr. June 28, 1973. He preceded her in death December 2, 1975.She is survived by two sons and one daughter and their spouses: Rev. Billy Thompson of Maple Road, Campbellsville, son of the late George Thompson and Erie Beard Thompson was born January 16, 1915, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:15 A.M., Sunday, April 21, 2002, in Campbellsville.Age: 87He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church.He was a retired farmer.He united in marriage to Gladys Miller November 18, 1937. She preceded him in death July 20, 1994. He united in marriage to Jorretta Underwood May 6, 1995.He is survived by his wife: Jorretta Underwood Thompson of Campbellsville; one son and his wife: Doug and Betsy Thompson of Mt. Sherman; four step-children: Everette Lingleo, Annette Fulgenzi and Candace Long of Illinois, and Christina Roth of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Shelly and Kelly Thompson of Campbellsville; one sister: Ruby Miller of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Lucy HaskinsLucy E. Haskins went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 14, 2002. She was born in Adair County to the late John Ike Smith and Eliza Groves Smith. She professed her faith in Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She loved her church and pastor and servedfaithfully even when she could no longer attend. She married Columbus Haskins in 1934. He preceded her in death May 10, 1995. Eleven children were born to this union: Willie, Lummie (Earl) Webster, Eliza Mable (Jimmy) Tucker, Clem (Yevette), Paul Samuel, Betty Winfrey and Joyce, all of Campbellsville; Sara (James) Davis and Nora of Atlanta, Georgia and Merion of Richmond, Virginia. One son, Charles Jr. preceded herin death in 1964. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren,six great-great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law: Doris and Joe Mitchell, Milton and MattieHaskins, Clarence Johnson, and Sallie Smith, many nieces and nephews, several other relatives and a host of friends.Most folks remember Mrs. Lucy
