Ruby G. Thomas, of Village Drive, Winchester, daughter of the late John R. Gray and Ollie Florence Gray was born August 24, 1924, in Clark County, Kentucky. She died at 7:50 A.M., Saturday, April 13, 2002, in Campbellsville.Age: 77.She had professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of the Colby Road Church of God. She was a homemaker and former employee of Belks Department Store.She united in marriage to Ray S. Thomas who preceded her in death.She is survived by three sons and one daughter and their spouses: John R. and Barbara Thomas of Lexington, Mike and Jackie Thomas of Campbellsville, Bill and Christy Thomas of Georgetown and Ann Thomas and Carlos Newcomb of Clinton, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and their spouses: Chris and Angie Thomas of Enid, Oklahoma, Julie and Aaron Shackelton of Glendale, Arkansas, Brent and Juliette Newcomb of Norman, Oklahoma, Melissa and Chris Washing, Jackie Thomas and Christi Thomas of Lexington and Alan Thomas and Katie Thomas of Georgetown; one great grandson, Andrew Shackelton of Glendale, Arkansas; one sister and two brothers: Christine Castle of Winchester, Earnest Gray of Spring City Tennessee, and Aubrey Gray of Cordova, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.FUNERAL SERVICES:10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 17th, at the Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester BURIAL:Winchester Cemetery

Jerry York, of Salleetown Road, Campbellsville, son of the late L. H. York and Elizabeth Richerson York was born July 4, 1944, in Marion County, Kentucky. He died Wednesday, April10, 2002, at his home in Campbellsville. Age:57. He is survived by one daughter, Melissa DeMelo of Austell Georgia; one son, Brian York of Campbellsville and one granddaughter, Kimberly York of Campbellsville. The body was cremated. There were no funeral services. Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville in charge of arrangements.
