MABEL MARIE (PAYTON) FOX, age 73, of Finis Street, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Henry J. Payton and Birshie Edwards Payton, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, January 27, 1929. She died at 12:50 P.M., Monday, February 25, 2002, in Louisville. She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She united in marriage to Charles W. Fox January 3, 1959. Besides her husband, Charles Fox of Finis Street, Campbellsville, she is survived by three children and their spouses: Marie David Ratcliff of Campbellsville, Louise Jack Black of Frankfort, and Willard Brenda Claywell of Texas; three step-children and their spouses: Suzy Mark Ricketts, Larry Sharon Fox, and Russell Beverly Fox of Indiana; five grandchildren: Janice Black Tucker of Frankfort, John Black of Lawrenceburg, Keith Claywell, Brian Claywell, and Jeff Claywell of Texas; two step-grandchildren: Darin Fox and Debbie Fox of Indiana; seven great-grandchildren: Anthony Claywell, Taylor Claywell, Emily Claywell, and Jacob Claywell of Texas, Dylan Tucker and Harlee Tucker of Frankfort, and Taylor Rae Black of Lawrenceburg; one step-great-grandson, Jerry Fox of Indiana; several other relatives and many friends. Catherine Gregory Crabtree, age 86, of Meadowbrook Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Arthur Hugh Gregory and Pearl Thompson Gregory, was born September 9, 1915, in Christian County, Kentucky. She died at 1:37 A.M., Monday, February 25, 2002, in Campbellsville. She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Campbellsville where she served as a pianist for over fifty years. She united in marriage to Edward L. Crabtree September 15, 1935. He preceded her in death January 14, 1981. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Donald K. and Peggy J. Crabtree of Campbellsville and Greg and Carolyn Crabtree of Parksville, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Jessie Jewell Humphress, age 84, of Robinson Ridge, Knifley died Thursday,February 14, 2002 at the Summit Manor Nursing Home after an illness.Mrs. Humphress is survived by her husband Chester Humphress of Knifley, two sons and one daughter-in-law and two daughters and one son-in-law, Bill and Clara Humphress of Knifley and Jackie Humphress of Lexington, Sharon and Paul Campbell of Campbellsville, Hilda Legg of Washington D.C.. Twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive alongwith three brothers and two sisters, Arthur Eastridge of Sonora, Malcom and Jack Eastridge of Elkhorn, Irene Gabehart of Casey Creek and Gustine Smith of Campbellsville.Funeral services for Mrs. Humphress will be conducted at 1:00 P.M.
