Donna Louise Burris, 86

Donna Louise Burris, the daughter of the later Wilburn and Lucille (Breeding) Hamilton, was born August 14, 1934 in Adair County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 86 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bible Baptist Tabernacle and a homemaker.
Donna enjoyed eating out, riding around seeing the beauty of nature and spending time with family.
She united marriage to Jim Garnett Burris, who preceded him in death in 2018.
She is survived by Two sons: Phillip Burris and wife Darlene and Todd Burris and wife Theresa all of Campbellsville; two brothers: Dickie “Pete” Hamilton and wife Marketa and Dixie “Shorty” Hamilton and wife Linda all of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Anthony Burris, Shannon Burris and wife Ranita and Wesley Todd Burris; five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive.

The funeral service for Donna Louise Burris will be Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Bob Cutler will be officiating.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

CONNIE DARLENE RAKES, age 61 of Bass Ridge, passed away Friday at her home.

SURVIVORS:
Her husband: Lyle Carl Rakes.

Five children: Terri Berry, Holly Abell, Cathy Dickerson, April Nicole Rakes and Jonathan Rakes.

Two sisters: Phyllis Bland and Margaret Gribbins.

18 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation from 2-4 PM on Monday at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.

Christy Gail Jolly, the daughter of James Edward and Brenda Gail (Swanson) Flatt of Columbia, was born July 1, 1078 in Seymour, Indiana and departed this life on Saturday in Campbellsville at her home after a battle with cancer. She was 42 years of age.
She enjoyed shopping, music, hunting for mushrooms (dryland fish) and spending time with her kids and was of the Christian Faith.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband: Johnny Jolly of Campbellsville; A daughter and two sons: Dana Jolly and John Jolly both of Campbellsville and Damond Jolly of Elizabethtown; three sisters and a brother: Tamara Eversole, James Flatt, Jr and Jamie Flatt all of Columbia and Malissa Wheeler of Glendale and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Christy Gail Jolly will be Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 12 Noon in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Bland will be officiating

Interment to follow in the Union Cemetery#2 in Glasgow.

Visitation after 10 AM Tuesday until time for the service.

Mrs. Deborah Lee (Rohe) McMahan of Campbellsville passed from this life on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Born on January 5, 1958 to the late James and Dorothy (Sensbach) Rohe, she was 63 years, 3 months, and 27 days of age. She had made a profession of faith and was of the Christian faith.

She leaves to mourn her passing:

Her husband of 44 years: Mr. Anthony McMahan of Campbellsville,

Three children: James McMahan and wife Leah of New Albany, Indiana, David McMahan of Campbellsville, and Amber Doty and husband Rusty of Knifley,

Two brothers: Joe Rohe and Bruce Rohe,

Nine grandchildren,

And a host of other family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Rohe, and a sister, Shelia Helm.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. McMahan on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 1:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 Hwy 208, Lebanon, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

Stephen Burris, better known as “Pig” or “Earthquake”, was born May 8, 1958 in Adair County, KY to the late Coakley and Marcella (Janes) Burris and departed this life on January 28, 2021 in Lexington. He was 62 years of age.

He was a truck driver and a member of the Milltown United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Sue Carol (Messinger) Burris and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother: Julia Burris, Shelia Burris and Bruce Burris.

A memorial service for Stephen Burris will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. EST (10AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Columbia Cemetery.

Rev. Russell Janes will be officiating.
