Mrs. Beverly Joyce Bridgewater of Campbellsville was born on June 24, 1957 to Mrs. Doris Lee (Vaughn) Bridgewater and the late Mr. Edward Allen Bridgewater. She was surrounded by family and friends when she passed from this life on Friday, May 31, 2019 at her home, being 61 years, 11 months, and 7 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church, and was a teacher’s aid in the Campbellsville Independent School Systems.
Mrs. Bridgewater was an outgoing and caring person, and her sweet and kind spirit was highly regarded in the community. She was a talented piano player and lifted many a spirit with her singing. The family time she spent watching sports with her sons or playing with her grandbabies will be cherished for years.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
Her mother: Doris Bridgewater of Campbellsville,
Two sons: Cedric Bridgewater and wife Bobbi, and Shumari Bridgewater and wife Tanya, all of Campbellsville,
Two sisters: Darlene Hazel and husband Lewis of Campbellsville, and Brenda Epperson of Louisville,
Six brothers: Lee A. Bridgewater and wife Colette of New Albany, Indiana, Gary Bridgewater and wife Tonya of Louisville, Kenneth Bridgewater of Louisville, Hollis Bridgewater and wife Tina of Louisville, Wilando Bridgewater and wife Latanaya of Campbellsville, and Craig Bridgewater of Louisville,
Four grandchildren: Tierra Bridgewater, Kenya Bridgewater, Breona Bridgewater, and Makyian Bridgewater,
Her best friend and fiancée: Stanley Perkins of Campbellsville,
And a host of other extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Bridgewater on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 426 Fallen Timber Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Rev. Michael Caldwell will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 5:00-8:00 PM, and on Saturday after 9:00 AM.

Woodford Glen Bottoms, Jr, the son of the late Woodford Glen, Sr and Eula Mae (Hicks) Bottoms, was born Saturday, March 15, 1958 in Taylor County and departed this life on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Campbellsville at his home. He was 61 years, 2 months and 11 day of age.
Mr. Bottoms spent many years and traveled many miles driving a truck, but when he had time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing poker with his friends, but found most joy spending time with his family and friends and his dog Annie and was of the Baptist Faith.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Jason Bottoms.
He is survived by two daughters and a son: Jaclyn “Jackie” Bottoms and fiancé Blake Gabehart, Kari Bottoms and companion Josh Simpson and Chase Bottoms and companion Anna Petty and the mother of his children: Lou Bottoms all of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren: Blake and Haylee Allen, Easton Williams, Bryson Gabehart, Mackenzie and Zehavah Negron, Elyjah Steward, Josh Simpson, Jr “Bud” and Jacob Simpson and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Woodford Glen Bottoms, Jr, will be conducted Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with cremation to follow. Doug Keltner will be officiating.
Family requests visitation after 2:00 P.M. until time for the service.

Mr. Morris Edwin Judd of Campbellsville, formerly of Green County, passed from this life on Friday, May 17, 2019 in Lexington at the UK Medical Center. Born on September 5, 1949 to the late Garland Thomas and Louvina (Hollins) Judd, he was 69 years, 8 months, and 12 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a student of the Bible. After thirty years as an insurance agent, he retired – only to continue working as a host for Swope Cars of Yesteryear so he could share his love of classic automobiles.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
Two daughters: Melissa Cundiff and husband Dennis, and Nickie Walker and husband James, all of Greensburg,
Five siblings: Thomas E. Judd of Greensburg, Garland Ray Judd and wife Teresa of Greensburg, Robert L. Judd and wife Nora of Monticello, Rosa Vittitoe and husband Bill of Columbia, and Kathy McCubbin and husband Donnie of Elizabethtown,
Three grandchildren,
Three great-grandchildren,
And a host of other family and close friends.
The L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service had the honor of carrying out Mr. Judd’s desire to be cremated. All services were held privately.

Mr. Dwight Gene “D.G.” Warren of Campbellsville was born on July 10, 1955 in Casey County to Nina Sue (Roy) Thomas and the late Eugene Martin Warren. He departed this life on Friday, May 17, 2019 in Louisville at the Jewish Hospital, being 63 years, 10 months, and 7 days of age. He was a former auto assembly line worker in Pontiac, Michigan, and was of the Baptist faith. Memories of time shared, often TV channel-surfing or watching movies, will be cherished for years by his family.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
One daughter: Jennifer Varnado of Florida,
His mother: Nina Thomas of Liberty,
Five siblings: Connel Willis of Clarkson, KY, Judith Geron of Campbellsville, Joyce Black and husband Kem of Minnesota, Debbie Overstreet and husband Rod of Campbellsville, and Berlin Thomas of Florida,

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Warren on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Greensburg Rd.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 20, from 11:00 AM until time for the service.

Mrs. Judy Dixon Draper of Campbellsville was born on May 22, 1948 to the late Wayne and Nancy (Humpress) Dixon. She was surrounded by her family when she departed this life on Monday, May 13, 2019 at her home, being 70 years, 11 months, and 21 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Church of the Nazarene.
Mrs. Draper retired from the Hardin Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse, one of two roles she cared deeply about. The other was her church, and she worked tirelessly to combine the two. She was the founder of The Mission of Hope, a Sunday School teacher, and a board member of the Campbellsville Church of the Nazarene. She often served as a medical missionary with Children’s Lifeline, and was instrumental in restructuring the Children’s Lifeline Mission in Haiti in 2012. She would often recant how she managed to ward off starvation amongst many Haitian children by teaching the adults about the benefits of consuming goat’s milk.
Her kindhearted and generous spirit wasn’t all spent overseas, though. Here, she was known as a talented member of the Dixon Singers Vocal Group, and was a loving wife and mother. Her legacy as a woman that always put God first in her life will be fondly remembered for generations.
She leaves to mourn her passing:

There will be a memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Draper on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Campbellsville Church of the Nazarene, 912 W Main St, Campbellsville, KY. Bro’s David Young, Donald Curtis, and Dwayne Lobb will be officiating.
The family will receive visitors at the church after 1:00 PM until time for the service.
