Vickie Gail Glasgow, 67

Mrs. Vickie Gail Glasgow of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charles and Shirley (Gentry) Dennison, passed from this life on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Born on September 17, 1951, she was 67 years, 7 months, and 23 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a charter member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church.

As a young lady, she fell in love with and married Mr. Murray Glasgow, who survives. She provided a comfortable and welcoming home for her family until her health began to fail. She took great pleasure in raising flowers and garden vegetables, and found solace in fishing or raising a few farm animals, or simply crocheting a heirloom.

Besides her husband, Mr. Murray Glasgow, she leaves to cherish her memory:

Four children: VeAnna Hamilton and husband David of Campbellsville, Kathy Kinsley Harvey of Campbellsville, Phillip “Bo” Hensley and wife Marla of Elizabethtown, and Leanna Parrish of Campbellsville,

Three brothers: Kennie Dennison and wife Connie of Campbellsville, David Dennison and wife Patty of Glasgow, and Ronnie Dennison of Glasgow,

Two sisters: Jean Grammer and husband Bob, and Dianna Baker, all of Campbellsville,

Seven grandchildren: Tatum Hamilton, Whitney Houchens, Addie Grace Harvey, Chloe Harvey, Braden Harvey, Kayla Hensley, and Shane Hensley,

Three great-grandchildren: Maria, Riley, and Alba,

Nieces and nephews: Amy and Daniel Turner, Charlie Dennison, Brian and Lisa White, John and Julie Dennison, Branden Baker, and Troy Dennison,

Great nieces and nephews: Jacob and Angel Turner, Hayden and Shiloh Dennison, Sarah, Elie, Rickey, and Andrew Dennison, Brittany, Alexander, and Bailey Crawhorn, and Dillon,

And a host of other family and friends.

There wil be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Glasgow on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 2:00 at the Grace Missionary Baptist Church, 10187 Hodgenville Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Terry Gaddie and Bro. Bob Grammer will be officiating. Burial will follow win the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 12, from 3:00-8:00 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

Thomas Sapp, Jr, 76

Thomas Sapp, Jr., the son of the late Thomas Sr. and Edith (Cave) Sapp was born Sunday, September 27, 1942 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Friday, April 19, 2019 in Campbellsville at his home. He was 76 year, 6 months and 24 days of age.
He was the owner of Sapp’s Antiques in Campbellsville for over 40 year. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was a former truck driver and enjoyed traveling going to antique auctions near and far buying and selling.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Terry Sapp.
Survivors include His wife: Debbie (Maynard) Sapp of Campbellsville; two daughters: Dawn Thompson and husband Chris and Dana Sapp all of Campbellsville; a brother and sister-in-law: Mickey and Shirley Sapp of Campbellsville; a sister and brother-in-law: Sherri and Dr. James Angel of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Peyton and Dara Rucker; six great-grandchildren: Kaydence, Jordan and Kambry Tungate, Jaydon, Zachary and Braydon Rucker and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Thomas Sapp, Jr will be Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Bro. Jay Damron will be officiating.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Julia F. Burris, 63

Julia F. Burris, the daughter of the late Coakley and Marcella (Janes) Burris, was born Tuesday, February 14, 1956 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Louisville at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. She was 63 years, 2 months and 4 days of age.
She was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army as a Medic and was of the Methodist Faith.
Julia enjoyed gardening, traveling, spending time with her family and friends and her dogs, Kimber and Bear.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Sheila Burris and a brother who preceded her in death in infancy.
Survivors a son and daughter: William “Willie: Wilson and wife Kellie and Leah Simpson, all of Campbellsville; a brother: Steven Burris and wife Sue of Magnolia; three grandchildren: Brylee, Braxton and Blaklee Wilson; a special friend: Terri Burris and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Julia F. Burris will be conducted Monday, April 22, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Robert “Bob” Moore, 77

Robert W Moore of Columbia, Kentucky, formerly of Lake Orion, Michigan passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 15, 2019. Bob was born on January 26, 1942 in Cumberland, Maryland.

Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirl, also of Columbia, Kentucky and his daughter, Bobbi Moore of Hixson, Tennessee. He is also survived by his special niece, Terry Wold, her husband, Dennis and their children as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Eleanor (Harris) Moore, his father John Moore, Sr. and brother John “Jack” Moore, Jr.

The family chose cremation and memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff of Hosparus Health Green River in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Kevin Robertson, 61

Mr. Kevin Cave Robertson of Campbellsville passed from this life on Tuesday, April 14, 2019 in Louisville at the Jewish Hospital. Born on August 19, 1957 to the late Clyde Davis and Frances Obie (Milburn) Robertson, he was 61 years, 7 months, and 28 days of age. Mr. Robertson had earned a bachelor’s degree from Campbellsville University and was a human services case manager. His knack for remembering dates and places made him a natural history buff, and his energetic personality fit him well as an avid UK basketball fan with a passion for classic rock music.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

His wife: Carroll (Kinser) Robertson,

Two children: Aaron Curtsinger and wife Jackie, and Molly Robertson and significant other Corey Davis, all of Campbellsville,

Three siblings: Greg Robertson and wife Vickie of Florida, Lois Gorin and husband Maurice of Campbellsville, and Sharon Pinkston and husband Onis of Tennessee,

Grandchildren: Haley, Colton, Zackary, Keagan, and Madelyn,

And several other special children, grandchildren, and relatives.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Zoy David Robertson.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Robertson on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, Campbellsville, KY. Pastor Joy Arnold will be officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 17, after 3:30 PM until time for the service.
