Workman PhotoMr. Larry Duane Workman of Greensburg was born on December 19, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Harland “Hoot” Gibson and Patricia (Herzig) Workman. He departed this life on Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg at the age of 55 years, 5 months, and 18 days of age. He was the owner and operator of a tractor trailer for several years. Mr. Workman professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

His long-time companion and fiancée: Dale Rae Conner of Greensburg,

One son: Brian Lee Workman and wife Lisa of California,

One daughter: Ashley Hill and husband Kash of Greensburg,

Several nieces and nephews,

A close friend: Clayton Jessie of Shelbyville,

And a host of other family and friends.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Brandon Gore, and a brother, Dale Gibson.

Cremation rites were accorded Mr. Workman by the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville. There was no public LRPETTY LOGOvisitation.

Besides his mother, he is survived locally by his grandfather, James K. Pendleton; great-grandparents, Guy and Kathy Ritchie, James L. Pendleton, and Brenda Pendleton; one uncle, Nick Pendleton; one aunt, Katlin Pendleton; and a host of cousins and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Tabitha Ritchie Pendleton.

Fair, Phyllis JeanMrs. Phyllis Jean (Whitley) Fair was born on August 6, 1953 in Taylor County to the late Lewis W. and Elsie Rae (Tungate) Whitley. She was called to her eternal home on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at her residence, at the age of 62 years, 9 months, and 13 days. She was an employee of the Fruit of the Loom factory in Campbellsville until the time of its closing. Mrs. Fair professed faith in Christ and attended God’s Grace Church. She found peace and joy in trying to live a Godly life, and used her life as her testimony.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Her husband of 41 years: Mr. Bradley Fair of Campbellsville,

A former daughter-in-law: Shannon Beach and husband Troy of Campbellsville,

One sister: Brenda Emerson of Campbellsville,

He departed this life on May 18, 2016 in Lousiville at the Norton Hospital after a sudden illness. He was 46 years, 8 months, and 22 days of age. Perkins, Shirley BootsMrs. Shirley “Boots” Perkins was born on November 27, 1953 in Campbellsville to the late Clarence Henry Price and Elizabeth Mae (Nelson) Hughes. She departed this life on May 17, 2016 at the Springfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an illness, being 62 years, 5 months, and 20 days of age. Mrs. Perkins professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Church of the Nazerene. She worked at Smith’s Wholesale in Campbellsville before becoming a nurse at the Taylor County Hospital. Mrs. Perkins loved spending time with her friends and family, and will be dearly missed by many. She leaves to mourn her passing: One daughter: Tiffany Willis and fiancé Greg TenEyck of Stanford, one grandson: Tuck Napier, four siblings: Evelyn Dile and husband Kenny of Green County, Billy Price and wife Diane of Campbellsville, Linda Rooker of Campbellsville, and Cathy Tucker of Indiana, a friend she considered her sister: Marsha Gribbins of Campbellsville, a special friend: Daniel Mings of Campbellsville, and a close niece: Catina Simmons of Campbellsville, and a host of other family and friends.
