Lonnie “Joe” Flinchum, 59

crossMr. Lonnie “Joe” Flinchum, the son of Norma Jean Cave Flinchum of Campbellsville and the late Curt Flinchum, was born July 17, 1957 Campbellsville and departed this life on Monday, August 8, 2016 at his home in Campbellsville. He was 59 years of age.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and later worked as a mechanic at Ancil Reynolds RV’s.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a son: Jordan Flinchum and wife Amber, a sister: Susie Flinchum Hayes and husband Denny, all of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.
A FAMILY ONLY graveside service will be held on Friday at the Harden Cemetery in the Knifley area of Taylor County with burial to follow. Denny Hayes will be officiating.
There will be no public visitation.

AddisonMiss Addison Gayle Bray, the infant daughter of Coty and Kelsey (Garrett) Bray of Mannsville, was born in Lexington on Friday, April 22, 2016. She was carried to heaven on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, being 3 months and 16 days of age. Though her life was wrought with struggles, she heard “I love you” countless times and was showered with comfort and affection by all who knew her.

Besides her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory:

Grandparents: Tammy Martin of Mannsville, Curtis & Lisa Garrett, also of Mannsville, and Kim Beach of Bowling Green,

A step-uncle: Johnny Murphey of Mannsville,

And a host of great aunts and uncles and other relatives and family friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Miss Addison on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Don Gowin will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, 1329 Wooleyville Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.

William “Bill” Smith, 62

Bill SmithGunnery Sergeant William R. “Bill” Smith of Campbellsville was born on April 10, 1954 to the late E.J. and Barbara (Ferguson) Smith in Orange, Texas. He departed this life Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after a battle with cancer. He was 62 years, 3 months, and 18 days of age. GySgt Smith retired from active duty in the United States Marine Corps after 14 years of service. He was the proud husband of Mrs. Gay (Cottrell) Smith, who survives. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hard work, and found relaxation outdoors by raising flowers and a garden, reading, and hunting and fishing.

He leaves to carry his legacy:

His wife: Gay Smith

Two sons: William Smith and companion Chelsey of Lexington, and Donnie Hartsock of Louisiana,

Two siblings: Debbie and E.J., both of Texas,

Four grandchildren,

Special family friends: Stacey, Tracie, Tammy, and Suzanne,

And a host of other family and close friends.

He was also preceded in death by two siblings, Stevie and Bonnie.

Joe Wayne Milby, 45

Joe Milby Mr. Joe Milby, the son of Nancy S. Vance Milby of Summersville and the late Alfred Milby, was born April 10, 1971 in Greensburg and departed this life on Thursday, July 28, 2016 in Louisville at the Norton Hospital. He was 45 years of age.
He was disabled in this life, but loved to hunt and fish when his health allowed him. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Gabe.
Besides his mother he is survived by a son: Corey Milby of Elkhorn, two sisters: Linda Milby of Summersville and Karen Milby Jeffries and husband Greg of Thurlow and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mr. Joe Milby, will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery at Summerville. Bro. Joe Milby will be officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. on Saturday until time for the service.

Mildred Imogene Johnson, 87

Johnson Mrs. Mildred Imogene (Bias) Johnson of Campbellsville was born on Saturday, September 8, 1928 to the late Chauncey and Essie Opal (Webb) Bias. She went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 18, 2016 at her home after an extended illness. She was 87 years, 10 months, and 10 days of age. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Bible Baptist Tabernacle. Mrs. Johnson’s kind and helpful spirit led her to become a home health care attendant after retiring from the Fruit of the Loom factory in Campbellsville. Mrs. Johnson was the wife of Percy John, Jr., who preceded her in death in 1999. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Four children: Sandra K. Boyd and husband Mike of Campbellsville, Terry G Johnson and wife Debra of South Carolina, Ginger R. Johnson of Campbellsville, and Percy Johnson III of West Virginia,

One daughter-in-law: Patsy Johnson of West Virginia,

Five grandchildren: DeShawna Boden, Amanda Despain, Joshua Despain, Terry Johnson, Jr., and Michael Johnson, Jr.,

Six great-grandchildren,

And a host of other family and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Dale Johnson, two sisters, and one brother.
