Mrs. Mary Agnes (Nelson) Whitlock of Scotts Ridge Rd in Raywick passed from this life on March 23, 2016. She was born in Taylor County on February 28, 1917 to the late Charlie Thomas and Alma (French) Nelson. Mrs. Whitlock was 99 years and 24 days of age at the time of her passing. She was a young girl when her mother died; subsequently, she was raised and loved by her father and step-mother, Mrs. Laura (Grimes) Nelson. Mrs. Whitlock was the devoted wife to Mr. Ben Mitchell Whitlock, who preceded her in death. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Eight children: Gladys Mattingly of Campbellsville, Minnie Pearl McCauley of Marion Co., Aileen Stovall of Shepherdsville, Donnie Whitlock and wife Betty of St. Frances, Rusty Whitlock and wife Carolyn of Campbellsville, Connie Smith and husband Donnie of Mt. Sherman, Roger Whitlock of Raywick, and Sarah Lee Buckman of Raywick,
One sister: Jean Bell of Campbellsville,
One sister-in-law: Opal Nelson of Campbellsville,
One son-in-law: Doc Lamkin of Raywick,
A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren,
And several other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by four children, Ruby Lamkin, Ralph Whitlock, Larry Whitlock, and Ike Whitlock, and seven siblings, Charles Nelson, Woodrow Nelson, Howard Nelson, Omer Nelson, Willard Nelson, Stella Underwood, and Elizabeth Burchett.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Whitlock on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 1:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Burial will follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery, Saloma Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 PM EST.

Mr. George E. Maynard, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late George E., Sr. and Opal (Baisden) Maynard, was born in Kermit, West Virginia on March 10, 1945. He departed this life on March 19, 2016 in Cincinnati, Ohio after an extended illness. He was 71 years and 9 days of age. Mr. Maynard professed faith in Christ and attended the East Campbellsville Church of God. He was married to Mrs. Ann Maynard, who preceded him in death in 2003. Mr. Maynard retired from the Fruit of the Loom Factory after 31 years of service; however, because he loved people, he would continue to work at Amazon and as a driver for the local Amish community. He loved laughter, children, family, and sports so it came natural for him to coach both little league baseball and football. Memories of him with his family gathered around a table of good food will be forever cherished by those closest to him.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
One daughter and two sons: Alison Maynard , Roger Dale Maynard and wife Tina Daniels-Maynard, and B.K. Maynard and wife Martha-Gail, all of Campbellsville,
Three sisters: Eloise Bea Baker and husband W.K., and Debbie Sapp and husband Tommy, Jr., all of Campbellsville, and Della Mae Damron of Greensburg,
One granddaughter: Madison Grace Maynard, and a host of extended family and friends.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Rose, Corina Sue Bault, and Lois Jean “Toby” Evans.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Maynard on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Robbie Spencer and Bro. Billy Adams will be officiating.
Interment will be in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.

Carolyn Sue Garrett, the daughter of Johnnie Wiser and Connie Sue (Oldson) Atwood and husband Robert, all of Campbellsville, was born August 30, 1970 in Marion County and departed this life on Monday, March 14, 2016 in Greenville at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital. She was 45 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith. She was a former employee of Amazon and was a homemaker.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband: Arthur Lee Garrett of Louisville; three children: Jonathan Wiser, Stevi Renee Shirley and Christopher Alia all of Campbellsville.
Three half-siblings: Jonilynn Wiser of Casey County, Rona Ashburn of Mannsville and Donald Wayne Wiser of Brandfordsville.
Also her grandmother: Lorene Oldson of Campbellsville; her nieces and nephew: Rebecca Johnson, Whitney Johnson and Cole Shroyer and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Carolyn Sue Garrett will be conducted Thursday, March 17, 2016 in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Merrimac Cemetery with Bro. Raymond Atwood officiating.
Visitation from 5-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Jackie Andrew Perkins, Sr. was born on Monday, November 17, 1947 in Taylor County to the late Elmer Lewis and Ethel (Poff) Perkins. He departed this life on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at his home in Campbellsville. He was 68 years, 3 months, and 8 days of age. Mr. Perkins was a carpenter and woodworker most of his life, and had a knack for being able to fix whatever he set his mind to. He was the lifetime companion and husband to Mrs. Ruth Elaine Perkins, who survives.
Besides his wife, he also leaves behind:
Three sons: Jackie Andrew Perkins, Jr. and wife Teresa of New Haven, Randy Perkins of Campbellsville, and Barry Perkins and wife Melissa, also of Campbellsville,
Four brothers and one sister: Perline Humpress and husband Harold Lee of Casey Creek, Gordon Perkins and wife Sue of Elkhorn, Tommy Perkins and wife Marsha of Fairdale, Bobby Perkins and wife Linda of Knifley, and Terry Perkins and wife Stacey of Russell Springs,
A sister-in-law: Judy Perkins of Knifley,
Nine grandchildren,
Two great-grandchildren,
Special friends: Raymond and Bunny Morris, Johnny and Diane Amburgey, Timmy Davis, Bob and Gail Sponhour, and Rick and Ellen Corum,

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Donnie Perkins.

Mrs. Linda L. Richerson of Larue County, formerly of Campbellsville, was born on December 4, 1945 in Cook County, Illinois to the late George and Alberta (Nox) Sheets. She departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness. She was 70 years, 2 months, and 19 days of age. Mrs. Richerson professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. She was the bookkeeper for Glasscock Body Shop for several years, and was a CNA and an at-home caregiver. She was a member of the Twilight Twirlers, a square dance troupe, and the Campbellsville Emmaus. She loved to watch a Disney movie and spend time with her family, playing bingo, and watching the Kentucky Wildcats. Her serious side came out only during Monopoly matches or card games; she was always competitive and hard to beat. She found relaxation in computer games and gardening, along with several other hobbies.
Mrs. Richerson leaves to cherish her memory:

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 25, from 11:00 AM until time for the service.
At Mrs. Richerson’s request, cremation rites will be accorded her after the service.
