Mrs. Kathryn K. Story, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, the daughter of the late Richard and Doris Ney Kirby, was born June 29, 1948 in Michigan City, Indiana and departed this life on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the University of Louisville Hospital after an illness in Campbellsville while she visiting her father-in-law She was 67 years
of age.
She was an Artist and was of the Lutheran Faith. She united in marriage to Thomas Dale Story, who survives.
Besides her husband Thomas Dale Story of Las Cruces, she is survived by three sons: Seth Frazier of Arizona, Caleb Story of Las Cruces and Jacob Story of Minnesota; two sisters: June Kirby of Arizona and Sandy Evans of Illinois.
Kathryn was also preceded in death by a brother: Jeff Kirby.
Cremation Rites for Mrs. Kathryn K. Story were conducted by L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville.
Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.

Mr. Howard Eugene “Butch” Garrett of Campbellsville, son of the late Turk and Mae (Sullivan) Garrett, was born in Woodstock, Illinois on October 6, 1939. He departed this life at the University of Louisville Hospital on January 15, 2016, being 76 years, 3 months, and 9 days of age. Mr. Garrett professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. During his years in Wisconsin, he was a prominent member of the local Lions Club, and especially enjoyed racing stock cars to raise money for them. Mr. Garrett took pride in living his life on his terms. Always considerate of the working class family, he stayed active in the Wisconsin Laborer’s Union until his retirement. He owned a third-generation bar, and was known as the “King of the Tommy Burger”, a local delicacy. Mr. Garrett answered the call to duty and served his country honorably in the United States Air Force as a helicopter pilot, and was active during the Vietnam War.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
His wife: Jan K. (Hayden) Garrett
One son: Dean R. Stevenson of Wisconsin,
Two grandchildren: Cody Stevenson and Trisha Hanson,
And several other extended family and close friends.
At Mr. Garrett’s request, cremation rites were accorded him. He will be interred in the Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Those times will be announced at a later date. The L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Howard Chaney of Campbellsville, son of the late Walter Everett and Olive Marie (Smith) Chaney was born in Pikeville, KY on July 2, 1941. He departed this life on January 13, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Greensburg being 74 years, 6 months, and 11 days of age. Mr. Chaney was a coal miner and a semi-truck assemblyman. His love for his family was paramount in his life; his playful spirit and witty tongue will be long remembered. He professed faith in Christ and enjoyed meeting new people while attending multiple churches.
Mr. Chaney leaves to cherish his memory:
His wife of 51 years: Patricia “Patty” Chaney,
Four children: Kim Davis and husband Gordon and Howard Chaney, Jr., both of Campbellsville, Paul David Chaney and wife LaLonnie of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, and Tracey Chaney, also of Campbellsville,

Six grandchildren,
And a host of other extended family and close friends.
Cremation rites were accorded Mr. Chaney by the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville. He will be laid to rest beside his parents in Beckley, West Virginia. A celebration of life and memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 5:00 PM at the Mullens First Pentecostal Holiness, Guyandotte Ave, Mullens, WV 25882.

Mr. Charles Samuel Brady of Campbellsville was born May 21, 1968 to the late Charles Edward, Jr. and Nannie Kathrayn (Smothers) Brady. He departed this life on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the age of 47 years, 7 months, and 17 days. He was a construction worker and farmer.
Mr. Brady leaves to mourn his passing:
His wife: Vicki (Webb) Brady,
One son and daughter: Matthew Samuel Brady and Kelly Atwood and husband Robert,
Five grandchildren: Colter Brady, Alanna Atwood, Brianna Atwood, Robert Atwood, and Layla Atwood,

A special niece: Arieana Jade Packard,
And a host of other family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Brady on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Interment will follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery in Marion County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 11, after 10:00 AM until time for the service.

Mrs. Glenda Jean (Cox) Rainwater McKenzie of La Vergne, TN, formerly of Campbellsville, was born on July 30, 1944 to Ina Ivadean (Pittman) Cox and the late Kenneth Odell Cox. She entered into rest on January 4, 2016 at her home in La Vergne surrounded by her family. She was 71 years, 5 months, and 5 days of age. Mrs. McKenzie was a retired nurse. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith. She united in marriage to the late Kenneth Rainwater, who preceded her in death in 1996. Later she united in marriage to the late Darian McKenzie, who preceded her in death in 2013.
Mrs. McKenzie leaves to cherish her memory:
Eight children: Greg (Destiny) Rainwater, Kevin (Krista) Rainwater, and Shawn Rainwater, all of Nashville, Elizabeth Rainwater and Stacey (John Blake) Rainwater, both of La Vergne, Melissa (Larry) Willis of Campbellsville, Kristi Rainwater (Brandy Goodman) of Houston, TX, and Tonia Rainwater of La Vergne,
Two brothers: Sammy (Pam) Cox of Campbellsville, and Terry Cox of Somerset,

She was also preceded in death by three children, Kim Rainwater, Timothy Rainwater, and David Rainwater, and one brother, Coy Cox.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. McKenzie on Thursday, January 7, 2015 at 12:00 PM EST (11:00 AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Don Gowin will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.
