Mr. Joe H. “Durwood” Williams, the son of the late, H. Gilmer and Essie Lorene Sexton Williams, was born February, 5, 1936 in Drop, Texas and departed this life on Friday, October 16, 2015 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 79 years of age.
He attended the Old Trinity Primitive Baptist Church in Denton, TX, he was a former Dairyman and HVAC Contractor, and a small business-owner. He served his country honorably as a United States Veteran.
Survivors include his wife: Sandra L. Kennedy Williams of Columbia; a son: Shawn Henry Williams and his wife Susie Trejo Williams of Campbellsville; two daughters: Allison Williams Carter of Evans, Georgia and Tammi Lea Ward of Haskell, TX; a sister: Brenda Joyce Carter and husband Coy of Justin, TX and a sister-in-law: Doris Williams of Justin, TX. Four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a brother: Arthur Williams.
The funeral service for Mr. Joe H. “Durwood” Williams, will be conducted Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Old Trinity Primitive Baptist Church in Denton, TX with burial to follow in the Trinity Cemetery. Elder Vernon Johnson and Elder Dale Turner will be officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Denton.
L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville is in charge of all arrangements.

Dwight V. Cave, 88, passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on October 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM.
As a young man, he answered the call to duty and joined the United States Navy. He was in the Navy a short time before the second world war ended but was kept in the reserves until he was 50 years old.
He retired from Ford Motor Company in April 1982 after 30 years of service. He continued to work for himself by moving people, helping others, and doing work for his church. He was a farmer at heart. After moving to Campbellsville in 1997, he owned his dream farm. He enjoyed working on his farm and it was hard on him when he could no longer work.
He was a member of Pittman Lodge No 124 F&AM and a member of the Scottish Rite.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple. He loved his family and was proud of all of them.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Della (Cave) Burress, and his father, William Virgil Roberts; a son, Steven Dwight Cave, and daughter, Diane Mahoney, and two step-daughters, Norma Jean Veech and Sharon Lynn Lees.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rose (Cundiff) Cave. Other survivors include his children; sons, Larry Cave, Danny Cave, Rodney Cave; daughter, Shelia Kiper; all of Louisville; stepchildren, Cynthia Ito and husband Hiro of Honolulu, HI, and Belinda Finn and husband David, and David Wayne Peebles, all of Louisville and Patricia Adams and husband John of Ohio.
Fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a host of great-great grandchildren and other extended family and close friends.
Funeral will be at L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY on Saturday, October 18, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with visitation from 12-2 PM. Entombment will be in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Kids Hurt Too, a non-profit for orphans, abandoned, and foster children, or Campbellsville Baptist Temple. Donations can be made online at lrpetty.com or at the funeral home

 Q Mrs. Dorothy (Benoit) Willoughby of Columbia, formerly of Taylor County was born on July 25, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Louis and Rose Anna (Sauve) Benoit. She departed this life on October 13, 2015 in Louisville at the Hosparus Care Center. She was 71 years, 2 months, and 18 days of age. Mrs. Willoughby was a housewife and homemaker to the late Charles Willoughby, who preceded her in death in 1996. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. willoughby was the beloved mother of Gerald Willoughby and his wife Dawn of Columbia. She is also survived by one step-grandchild and several other extended family and friends.
There will be a memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Willoughby at 3:00 PM EST, 2:00 PM CST on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Grace Baptist Church, 122 Dowell Rd, Russell Springs, KY 42642.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials take the form of donations to the Hosparus Advancement Department, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Dr, Louisville, KY 40205.  Mr. Billy Frank Blevins, the son of the late John William “Bill” and Bertha A. Rucker Blevins, was born on October 18, 1930 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Friday, October 9, 2015 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 84 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Soule Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a Retired Veteran, having served in the United States Army, he earned an associate degree in criminal justice, he was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed woodworking and nascar.
Survivors include his wife: Brenda Lewis Blevins of Campbellsville; a daughter: Karen Sue Blevins of Amarillo, Texas; a step-son: Eric Conley of Big Ben, Washington; a sister: Joyce Salmon of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Blevins was also preceded in death by a brother: James Lee Blevins.
The funeral service for Mr. Billy Frank Blevins will be conducted Monday, October 12, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Bro. Don Watson and Bro. John Loy officiating.
Entombment in the Brookside Cemetery Mausoleum with full Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation from 5-8 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the donation of Gideon Bibles, both can be made at the funeral home.

Mr. Lucas McCain “Duke” Edwards was born on June 10, 1962 in Louisville, and departed this life on October 7, 2015 at his home in Campbellsville. He was 53 years, 3 months, and 27 days of age. Mr. Edwards was a former mechanic. As often as his health would allow, he loved to hunt and fish, but his passion was in “scrapping” and recycling. He was a former attendee of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing:

Four children: Vanessa Napier of Lexington, and Carrie Edwards, Amy Crews and husband Richie, and Cameron Edwards, all of Campbellsville,
Four siblings: Roseanne Clark and husband Ronnie of Campbellsville, Lowell Edwards and fiance Lequita Lynch, also of Campbellsville, Raymond O’Rafferty of Louisville, and Virginia Marin and husband Javier of Springfield,
Four half siblings: Kenneth Edwards, Billy Gene Edwards, Joyce Edwards, and Dorothy Edwards, all of Leitchfield,
Four step-siblings: Louise Ford and husband Darrell, Debbie Cox and husband Jerry, Sharon Ford and husband Darrell, and Juanita and husband Johnny, all of Campbellsville,
Six grandchildren: Austin, Michael, Aiden, Kadee, Jeslin, and Nathan,
And a host of other extended family and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Edwards on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Larry Frisbee will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Gaddis Ridge Cemetery, Gaddis Ridge Rd, Taylor Co, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 10, from 12:00 PM until time for the service.
