Ann Tucker, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late William Logan and Myrtle (Akin) Murphy, was born December 18, 1940 in Marked Tree, Arkansas and departed this life on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in Campbellsville. She was 82 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Vineyard Campbellsville.
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and ran a daycare for over forty years being called “Aunt Ann” by many children that she cared for.
Ann enjoyed being a seamstress, watching Judge Judy, working crossword puzzles, gardening, spending time with grandchildren and cooking. She enjoyed her conversations with family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by thirteen brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband: Bobby Tucker, whom she married October 10, 1959; three children: Cindy Russell and husband Tommy, Greg Tucker and wife Meme and Josh Tucker and wife Dr. Summer.
Also ten grandchildren: Ryan (Kelly) Russell, Kellen (Chad) Forsyth, Dr. Griffin (Dezi) Tucker, Chloe (Stephen) Olliges, Wes (Alexus) Tucker, Jane Tucker and fiancé Nathan Schweikhart, Witman, Finley, Chamberlain and Millie Tucker; twelve great-grandchildren; a special friend: Candy May and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Ann Tucker will be Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Cane Valley Cemetery.

Family requests visitation from 5-8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the Galilean Children’s Home or Hosparus of Green River, which can be made in person at the funeral home.

Melvin Wayne Skaggs, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Hartley Skaggs and Bertie White Skaggs, was born January 7, 1952, in Greensburg, KY, and departed this life on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was 71 years of age.
Melvin professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. He was a woodworker by trade and enjoyed guns, and warplanes, and loved history. Melvin had also served his country in the United States Army Reserves.
He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn “Gwen” Skaggs, having united in marriage on October 5, 1973, and recently celebrated fifty wonderful years together.
He is also survived by two daughters: Shannon Graham and husband Mike of Campbellsville, and Emily Hatfield and husband Ryan of Virginia Beach, VA.
Six grandchildren: Abigayle Graham, Shelby Graham, Silas Hatfield, Neva Hatfield, Julie Hatfield, and Mattie Hatfield.
Also, two brothers and one sister: George Skaggs and wife Wanda of Greensburg, Jerry Skaggs of Campbellsville, and Sharry Daniel and husband James of North Carolina. One sister-in-law: Beverley Skaggs of Campbellsville along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: James “Jimmy” Skaggs.
The funeral service for Melvin Wayne Skaggs will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home 1765 New Columbia Road Campbellsville, KY with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery in Gabe.
Bro. John Stilts will officiate.
The family has requested visitation from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to be donations to Operation Christmas Child and can be made at the funeral home.

Mr. Lawrence Hamilton of Campbellsville, formerly of Fedscreek, passed peacefully from this life on Friday, November 3, 2023 at his home. Born in Pike County on February 14, 2023 to the late Lawrence William and Flossie (Ramey) Hamilton, and was 79 years of age. He was a loving husband, a devoted father and a proud grandfather. (If you are a grandchild reading this, yes, you really are his favorite. Don’t tell the others.) Mr. Hamilton spent the majority of his employment building locomotives for GM. He was a firm supporter of the working class, a proud member of the United Auto Workers Union, and a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by a son, Tracy Hamilton, on April 19, 1993.
Mr. Hamilton leaves to cherish his memory:
His wife of 55 years: Pamela Gayle (Martin) Hamilton,
A daughter: Kelly Dominguez and husband Israel,
A sister: Sharon Estlick and husband Charles,
Three grandchildren: Rebecca Dominguez, Eric Dominguez, and Naomi Dominguez,
Three great-grandchildren: Josiah, Tracy, and Damien,
And a host of other family members and friends, including all of his UAW brothers and sisters.
At the request of Mr. Hamilton, his cremated remains will be laid to rest in the Hamilton Cemetery in Fedscreek at a later date.

Nancy Ann Tucker King, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Samuel W. Tucker and Stella L Watson Tucker, was born September 19, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio, and departed this life on Friday, November 3, 2023, at her residence. She was 61 years of age.
She was a homemaker and was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed her cats, shopping, yard sales, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Erick Hovious and his wife Shana, Chasidy Lampley, and her husband Charlie, and Joshua Streeval and his wife Kelly. Nine grandchildren: Tristan Hovious, Daisy Hovious, Georgia Hovious, Jace Streeval, Sully Streeval, Zack West, Lexie Coffey(Layden), Sophie Lampley, Kason Lampley.
Three great-grandchildren: Lennix Coffey, Jacob Baker, and Grayson Hovious.
Also, one brother and one sister: Neal Tucker and Sue Tucker.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Connie Woodrum.
The family has chosen cremation and all services will be private.

Maxine Walker Wooley of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Jerome Maxie Thorp and Rosalie (Lenore) Thorp, was born February 28, 1941 in Jefferson County, KY and departed this life on Monday, October 30, 2023 in Elizabethtown at the Signature Healthcare. She was 82 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Spurlington United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
Maxine was a member of the Garden Club and was a good Christian woman, mother and wife.
She united in marriage to David Wooley on July 14, 1957 who preceded her in death on May 13, 2007.
Survivors include her children: Matthew Wooley and wife Connie, Denise Wooley and wife Cathy, Sharon Phillips and husband Mark and Vicki Reesman and husband Frank.
Also seven grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service for Maxine Wooley will be Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Green River Memorial Cemetery with burial to follow.
Bro. Ronnie Dooley will be officiating.
There will be no public visitation prior to the service.
L.R. Petty Funeral Home in charge of arrangement.
Memorials are suggested to Hosparus of Green River or Gideon Bibles.
