Joshua Anthony Milby, of Campbellsville, the son of Kent Milby and Kimberly (Meers) Morrison was born November 29, 1986 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at his home. He was 36 years of age.
Joshua enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles and working on cars and was a general laborer.
Survivors include his father: Kent Milby and wife June of Campbellsville; his mother: Kimberly Morrison of Hodgenville; his children, Destiny, Jaidon, Raylin and Zathan.
Also his grandparents: Rev. Elizabeth Milby and Lana Pruitt; a step-brother and step-sister: Aaron Smith and Tiphanie Lawson and husband Timmy and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Joshua Anthony Milby will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery at Gabe.
Rev. Freddy Thompson will be officiating
Family requests visitation after 12:00 noon Friday until time for the service.

Mr. Matthew Kane Franklin of Campbellsville, son of Michael and Misty Franklin, was born on July 9, 2004. He entered into eternity on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, being 18 years, 6 months, and 6 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. He was a 2022 graduate of Taylor County High School and was a proud employee of ABEL Construction in Louisville. He had recently began pursuing an apprenticeship in carpentry and was a member of Indiana Kentucky Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters, Local 175. He will be remembered for his contagious laughter and his equal love for people from all walks of life. It was said that Matt was “bigger than life, and with a heart like Jesus”.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
His parents: Michael and Misty Franklin,
A sister: Micah LeAnn Bragg and husband Tyler,
His girlfriend: Lindsey Wells,
Paternal grandparents: Lynn and Phyllis Franklin,
And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends, both local and across the United States, too numerous to name.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Robert Harold and Glenda June Gribbins.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Franklin on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 12:00 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro Steve Skaggs will officiate. Burial will follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery in Bradfordsville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 20, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
Serving as casketbearers are Connor Dishman, Bailey Butler, Justin Barrett, Zach Nelson, Auston Murrell, Chandler Franklin, and Devon Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be the 2022 Taylor County High School football team, coaches, and staff.

Mrs. Brenda Delores Matthews of Campbellsville, formerly of Cave City, KY was born in Louisville, KY on June 18, 1954 to the late Billy Dewayne Francisco and Ruth Mae (Matthews) Francisco. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at her home, being 68 years of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Matthews was an employee with the Campbellsville Independent Schools serving in the high school lunchroom. She enjoyed coloring and panting woodcrafts and spending time with family.
Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, Daryl Matthews of Campbellsville.
She also leaves to cherish her memory: One daughter, Monica Bricken and husband Keith of Campbellsville. One grandson: Logan Bricken. One sister: Debbie Turner of Hodgenville. One Nephew and One Niece: Brad Turner and wife Beth, and Angie Morris and husband Mark. One brother-in-law Ronnie Matthews, and a host of other family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: Kenneth and Ruth Matthews, and one brother-in-law Owen Turner.
Visitation for Mrs. Brenda Delores Matthews will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville with cremation to follow with interment in the Brookside Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be donations to the Taylor County Animal Shelter.

Mrs. Linda Lou (Tucker) Bland of Campbellsville was born in Taylor County on November 16, 1944 to the late Marcus Daniel LaFayette McKinley and Lola (Mann) Tucker. She departed this life on Monday, January 16, 2023 at her home, being 78 years of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a charter member of Fairview Baptist Church in Mannsville. Mrs. Bland was a proud farmer and homemaker, and loved her role as a mother and grandmother.
On January 16, 1990, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Todd Bland. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Dylan Michael Bland (2017); a son-in-law, Jackey Stanley (2020); a granddaughter, Gentry Michael Stanley (2021); and five siblings: Buck Mann, Dan Tucker, Hubert Tucker, Bill Tucker, and Frank Tucker.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Two children: Jason Bland and wife Kimberly of Campbellsville, and Geri Daneen (Bland) Stanley of Hodgenville,
Two grandchildren: Jessica Stanley Wafford and husband Ryan, and Madelynn Bland,
Three great-grandchildren: Evan, Owen, and Hensley Wafford,
And a host of other family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Linda Bland on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Don Gowin will officiate. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 19, from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Mrs. Diane LaVine Hyde, of Campbellsville, was born in Chicago, IL on November 22, 1957 to the late Bernard LaVine and Barbara Caruso LaVine. She departed this life on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, being 78 years of age. Mrs. Hyde enjoyed reading, drawing and spending time with her grandchildren.
She united in marriage on November 29, 1975 to David Hyde who survives.
She is also survived by two children: David A. Hyde and wife Shannon of Campbellsville, KY and Jamie Urchak and husband Joe of Tennessee.
Two sisters and three brothers: Kathy Hammond, Jim LaVine, Teresa LaVine, Michael LaVine, and Steven LaVine.
Three Grandchildren also survive along with a host of other family and friends.
The family has chosen cremation and all services will be held privately.
