Rebecca “Becky” Powers, of Campbellsville, formerly of Louisville, was born April 19, 1961 in Rhode Island to Donald Powers and Judy (Rafiner) Persons-Powers and departed this life on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 61 years of age,
She was a former factory worker and Kroger in Louisville and most recently Dynacraft-Paccar in Louisville and was of the Baptist Faith.
She was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army.
Becky enjoyed reading, playing with her pets and spending time with family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death a brother: Joe Powers.
Survivors include her wife: Barbara Hall; three sisters: Donna Brown, Shayne’ Heil and Holly Sinkhorn; brother-in-law: Scott Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service for Rebecca “Becky” Powers will be Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville with burial to follow.
Visitation from 4-8 PM on WEDNESDAY in the Campbellsville Chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Demesia Kaye Harrison, of Campbellsville, the daughter of Retha (Barnett) Burton and the late Moss Burton was born July 2, 1956 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at her home. She was 66 years of age.
She was retired from TG Kentucky and was a former employee of fruit of the Loom and was of the Christian Faith.
Demesia enjoyed reading, watching crime shows and playing with her dog Max, but most of all she loved her family.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a brother: Barry Burton.
Survivors include her husband: Rex Harrison; her mother: Retha Burton; her children: Charisse LaBoyteaux and husband Terry and Benjamin Harrison and companion Bethany Anderson; two brothers: Gary “Poochie” Burton and wife Robin and Ricky Burton; eight grandchildren: Ayden, Zane, Creed, Callie, Tanner, Sydney, Olivia and Penelope; a great-grandchild: Alistair and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Demesia Kaye Harrison will be Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the Campbellsville Chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. on Thursday until time for the service.

Mrs. Nellie (Witham) Bowen of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Johnnie Bob and Maggie Mae (Reeder) Witham, passed peacefully from this life on Friday, July 22, 2022 at her home. Born in Rockhouse Bottom in Russell County on January 23, 1928, she was 94 years, 5 months, and 29 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, and was a retiree of Medco Nursing Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Three children: Billy Ray Bowen and wife Becky of Green County, Connie Coffey of Green County, and Phyllis Henderson of Campbellsville,
A son-in-law: Joe Shofner of Green County,
Nine grandchildren: Darren Bowen, Shannon Hughes, Renee Hawthorn, Angie Bowen, Shawn Coffey, Jason Coffey, Joe Shofner, II, Anthony Shofner, and Tyler Shofner,
Twenty great-grandchildren,
Her caregiver: Tina Lee,
Close friends: Joy and Sherrill Rawlings,
And a host of extended family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Patricia Shofner; a son-in-law: Allen Coffey; and four siblings: Paul Witham, Edna Coffey, Winnie Parsons, and Archie Burress.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Bowen on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM EDT (10:00 AM CDT) in the Campbellsville chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Shawn Coffey will officiate. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 24, from 5:00-8:00 PM EDT (4:00-7:00 PM CDT).

Neal Upchurch, Jr., of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, the son of Julio and Kathy (McNear) Quintana, was born February 25, 1999 in Louisville and departed this life on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in Louisville at the St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. He was 23 years of age.
Neal enjoyed music, movies, and Gears of war on Xbox and playing with his cellphone, but loved his family most of all.
Survivors include his parents: Kathy and Julio Quintana, his sister: Kiara Maree ‘Pinky” Quintana; his brother: Vincent Kane Quintana; his grandparents: Reed Upchurch, Maria De La Luz Medina,; his great grandmother: Gladys Mattingly and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Neal was preceded in death by a sister: Kasey Michelle Upchurch; his grandparents: Timmy Johnson, Nadine Johnson, Linda Upchurch and Ramon Quintana.
The funeral service for Neal Upchurch, Jr will be Friday, July 29, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the Campbellsville Chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 on Thursday and after 8:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.

Nettie Pearl Cox, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late George and Nettie Grace (Wilson) Myers, was born March 30, 1939 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at her home. She was 83 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the White’s Ridge General Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and was the owner and operator of Roy’s Grocery on Speck Ridge for over 25 years.
She later became an employee of the Taylor County Elementary School, where she retired and later became a wonderful caregiver for numerous sick or elderly in the community.
She united in marriage on January 24, 1958 to Roy Eugene Cox, who preceded her in death in 1994.
Survivors include: a daughter: Karen Sanders and husband John; a son: Barry Cox and wife Janie all of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Shannon Pruyear, Savannah Sanders, Kellie Jo Lobb, Mariah Teague and Miranda Cox; two step-grandchildren: Brandon Dudgeon and Dakota Smith; three great-grandchildren: Jacob, Micheal and Jessie Pruyear; two step-great-grandchildren: Anna and Christine Pruyear.
Also surviving are two sisters: Frances Johnson and Bonnie Johnson, both of Elk Horn and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Nettie Pearl Cox will be Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the Campbellsville Chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery.
Bro. Dickie Rogers & Bill Epperson will be officiating.
