Martha Jane McCubbin

Martha Jane McCubbin of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Junie Acree and Mae Estes Acree, was born November 19, 1938 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 10:00 P.M., Monday, February 14, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, which she loved dearly.
Martha enjoyed sewing, was a collector of antiques and took great joy in working in her flower gardens. She also was passionate about helping people, especially children and always volunteered at the local schools.
She united in marriage to Paul McCubbin in 1974 and he preceded her in death June 26, 2016.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Earl Milby and wife, Paula and Barry McCubbin and wife, Jessica of Campbellsville and Ruth Warren and husband, Dean of Summersville; three step-children: Marvin McCubbin and wife, Bunny of Mt. Washington, Doug McCubbin and wife, Phyllis of Campbellsville and Paula Hedeen of Sister Bay, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren: Blake Milby and wife, Meleigha, Hannah Lee and husband, Kevin, Peyton McCubbin and Jaxon McCubbin of Campbellsville, Stan White and wife, Morgan and Sydnie Benningfield of Greensburg; ten great-grandchildren: Candace Fields, Kayla Fields, Katie Jane Fields, Zacc Fields, Raeylyn White, Chandler White, Fletcher Milby, Oliver Lee, EverLeigh Milby and Finley Thompson; one sister, Sarah Brockman of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters: Bob Acree, Odell Acree, Cosby Acree, Gene Simpson, Doris Patterson and Letha DeWitt.

Tammy Renee Boston

Tammy Renee Boston of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert K. Boston and Wilma Louise Cox Boston, was born September 10, 1963 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 2:11 P.M., Monday, February 14, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 58
Tammy was a former supervisor at Frost Arnett and a former accounting employee with Cox Cabinet.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mannsville Separate Baptist Church where she was the secretary and treasurer.
She enjoyed doing tax work for many of her family and friends and taking pictures for family. She loved decorating cakes and always made birthday cakes for all family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and had made many friends from her employment at Frost Arnett. Tammy especially loved her granddaughter, Kylee, who called her Ga-Ga.
Tammy is survived by son and daughter-in-love, Casey and Sierra Seaborne of Campbellsville; one granddaughter, Kylee Lowelle Seaborne of Campbellsville; six aunts: Beverly Sue Cox, Linda Boston, Kathleen Cox, Mary Nell Cox and Marsella Cox of Campbellsville and Kodelia Swears of Mt. Washington and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Betty Jane Tungate

Betty Jane Tungate of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Alvin Barnett and Sarah Margaret Perkins Barnett, was born January 14, 1939 in Larue County, Kentucky. She died at 4:17 P.M., Monday, February 14, 2022 in Lexington. Age: 83
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
Betty was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She was a hard worker who enjoyed cooking, canning her garden produce, being a good Christian, but most importantly, she loved her family and was known as a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She united in marriage to James “Buford” Tungate July 12, 1958 and he preceded her in death January 25, 2011.
She is survived by one daughter and two sons: Diane Minor, Tim Tungate and wife, Rhonda and Kerry Tungate and wife, Pam of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: Emily Keltner and husband, Derrick, Candace Altman and husband, Zach, Josh Tungate and wife, Candace, and Jonathan Leigh and wife, Haley all of Campbellsville, Alex Tungate of Beaver Dam, Maddie Tungate of Lexington, and Spencer Tungate of Durham, North Carolina; five great-grandchildren: Zak Keltner, Preslee Keltner, Kasen Altman, Isaiah Leigh, and Samuel Leigh; two brothers: Jerry Barnett and wife, Linda, and Kenneth Barnett of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Betty was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Barnett.

Mary Ann Curry Russell of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Boyce Filmore Curry and Ida Florence Nelson Curry, was born March 28, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:05 P.M., Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
She professed faith in Christ and was a life-long member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mary Ann was a retired City Clerk for the City of Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Eugene Lee Russell December 15, 1956 and he preceded her in death June 26, 2003.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Kenny Phillips of Campbellsville; one granddaughter, Amber Nash and husband, Adam of Albuquerque, New Mexico and many other relatives and friends.
Mary Ann was also preceded in death by a special friend, Donald Callison.

Emery May, of Campbellsville, son of the late Taylor May and Grace Sims May, was born September 29, 1934 in Lincoln County, Kentucky. He died Monday, February 7, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Freedom Christian Church.
Emery was a retired over the road truck driver and was owner and operator of a trucking company.
He united in marriage to Roberta Wesley November 21, 1936.
He enjoyed going to flea markets and trading, visiting and talking with folks and anything having to do with cars and motorcycles.
Besides his wife, Roberta May of Campbellsville, Emery is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carol Anne May of Elk Horn; four grandchildren: Wes May and wife, Claire, Meredith Parker and Aaron Lowe of Louisville, Dale Lowe and wife, Kathy of Springboro, Ohio; three great-grandchildren: Marina Parker of Franklin, Tennessee and Carson Lowe of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina and Colby Lowe of Springboro, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Anna Lee Leigh and two brothers in infancy.
