Paul Edward “Bud” Witham of Campbellsville, son of the late Paul Witham and Mable Parsons Witham, was born May 12, 1938, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:15 A.M., Thursday, May 24, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 80
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Bud was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after thirty-five years of service. He loved farming, especially tobacco and also enjoyed hunting and going to the flea markets to shop.
He united in marriage to Laverne Sapp November 13, 1953.
Besides his wife, Laverne Sapp Witham of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and two sons: Diane Cave and husband, Jimmy, Dale Witham and wife, Barbara and David Witham and wife, Felipa of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: Jamie Cave and Nathan Witham and wife, Bethany of Campbellsville, Danielle Best of North Carolina, Austin Witham and wife, Frankie of Abilene, Texas, Daniel Witham and girlfriend, Ashley Gilbert, Jesus Romero Cid and Angelina Witham of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Faylee Witham, Michael Witham and Abby Witham; three brothers and one sister: Kenneth Witham and wife, Becky, Roger Witham and wife, Elaine and Fred Witham and wife, Brenda of Campbellsville and Brenda Sapp and husband, Phillip of Mt. Washington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Lucille Wooley Brockman Poe of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Sherman Wooley and Grace Childers Wooley, was born October 30, 1926 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:45 P.M., Monday, May 21, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Lucille was employed as a secretary with the Taylor County RECC for forty-one and a half years.
She loved to cook, was well known for her recipes and owned numerous cookbooks. She was also a wonderful hostess who loved to entertain and have dinner parties and had previously been employed as a hostess at Creekside Restaurant.
She united in marriage to Ray “Jack” Brockman November 12, 1946 and he preceded her in death September 20, 1990.
She later married to Ralph Poe June 11, 1994 and he preceded her in death April 13, 2011.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Tina Wooley of Campbellsville; six nieces and one nephew: Brenda Orr and husband, Steve, of Campbellsville, Bobbi Jo Adams, Carol Viers and husband, Daniel of Campbellsville, Wanda Farris, Sheena Mays and husband, Daryl of Campbellsville, Patty West and husband, Ray of Cleveland, Ohio and Jessie Davis and wife, Cathy of Lexington; special friend, Dean Mings of Campbellsville; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Jimmy A. Wooley, William Sherman
Wooley, Jr. and Ruby Davis.

Richard Jeter of Campbellsville, son of the late James “Bud” Jeter and Sarah Janie Cox Jeter, was born February 28, 1931 in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He died at 1:43 P.M., Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in Columbia. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle, where he was instrumental in founding the Church.
He united in marriage to Gracie Martin September 24, 1950 and she preceded him in death December 9, 2016.
Richard was employed at TGT for forty-four years and was a former superintendent.
He is survived by two sons: Dr. Harold Wilkerson and wife, Brenda and Dr. Richard Allen Jeter and wife, Eveylene of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Dr. Andrea Russell and husband, Dr. Dirk Russell of Canton, Georgia, Jarrod Wilkerson of Louisville, Erin Martin and husband, Kelly and Ashley Dooley and husband, Damon of Campbellsville and Matt Underwood and wife, Jeanett of LaGrange; twelve great-grandchildren: Madelyn Russell, Jillian Russell, Ava Russell and Luke Russell of Canton, Georgia, Jackson Martin, Maxwell Davis, Zachary Martin and Sarah Davis of Campbellsville, Hannah Underwood and Noah Underwood of LaGrange and Shelby Dooley and Payton Dooley of Campbellsville; special niece, Alene Gilpin of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Clara Lee Raffety of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John W. Allen and Nannie White Allen, was born November 1, 1922 in Ohio County, Kentucky. She died at 9:30 P.M., Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 95
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn United Methodist Church.
Clara Lee was employed as a sales clerk for Lerman’s Department Store.
She united in marriage to Murrell “Pete” Raffety September 1, 1943 and he preceded her in death April 13, 2005.
She is survived by one daughter: Sandra Gumm and husband, Mike of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Allen Gumm and Steven Gumm and wife, Laura of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren: Savannah Nicole Gumm and George Ryne Gumm; one brother-in-law, Carl Rafferty and wife, Anna of Taylor, Michigan; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, David Murrell Rafferty November 4, 2010; one granddaughter, Debra Lynn Rafferty September 19, 1972 and two brothers and two sisters: Damon Allen, James W. Allen, Mabel Smith and Josie Ann Newcomb.

Joe Knopp of Campbellsville, son of the late Joe Knopp and Hazel Shipp Knopp, was born January 8, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:05 P.M., Friday, May 11, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 89
Joe served his country honorably in the United States Army and served two tours of war in Germany during the Korean conflict. He was a retired employee of Kroger after thirty nine years of dedication. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
He united in marriage to Frances Bennett February 3, 1951 and she preceded him in death March 6, 1990.
He is survived by one daughter and three sons: Connie Stiles and husband, Roger, Sam Knopp and wife, DeLisa and Terry Knopp of Campbellsville and Tommy Knopp of Tampa, Florida; five grandchildren: Tiffany Lyons and husband, Adam of Fulton, Amy Knopp of Knifley, Missy Knopp and Savannah Lewis and husband, Zach of Campbellsville and TJ Knopp of Tampa, Florida; six great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Pendleton of Knifley, Preston Cappiello of Columbia, Shelby Atwood, Brooke Atwood of Campbellsville, Quinn Lyons and Campbell Lyons of Fulton; one sister-in-law, Shelby Moore of Greensburg; one brother-in-law, Glenn Hawkins of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
