Eural G. “Jeff” Jeffries of Campbellsville, son of the late Roy Hobert Jeffries and Flora Mae Davis Jeffries was born October 14, 1927 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 4:30 P.M., Friday, September 8, 2017 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Age: 89
He professed faith in Christ and attended Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of WWII having served his country honorably in the United States Army during the occupation of Japan.
Before his retirement he was a truck driver and mechanic.
Jeff could fix anything and got great pleasure from helping family and friends with repairs. His greatest desire was to see all of his family profess faith in Christ so they could have a big reunion in heaven.
He united in marriage to Norma Jean Gabehart March 7, 1970.
Besides his wife, Norma Jean Jeffries of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Michelle Jeffries of Campbellsville, Karen Vincent of Louisville and Tommy Jeffries of Plano, Texas; two step-children, Karen Mackin and husband Danny and David Scheler of Louisville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother: Mary “Matt” Bishop, Vera Opal Davenport and James L. Jeffries.

Madlyn Parrott of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Sammy T. Benningfield and Rennie Lovelace Short Benningfield, was born October 22, 1918, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:17 A.M., Friday, September 8, 2017 in Danville. Age: 98
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
Madlyn united in marriage to Rev. Henry T. Parrott December 24, 1936 and he preceded her in death October 10, 2007. She served her Lord faithfully along with her minster husband having once told him wherever the Lord led him she would follow. She had a heart for missions and wanted everyone to know Jesus as their savior. She saved and gave generously to the missons offerings.
She loved and was loved dearly by her family. She showed her love by cooking amazing meals that left both body and soul refreshed.
She is survived by two sons and four daughters: Norman (Margaret)Parrott of Campbellsville, Ronald David (Judy)Parrott of Richmond, Lynda Spoonamore of Lexington, Jan (Gene) Robinson of Burgin, Pam White of Makanda, Illinois, and Gayle Parrott (Joe Curl) of Covington, Louisiana; fourteen grandchildren: Brad (Staria) Robinson, Bryan (Lynn) Robinson, Carla (Jimmy Merideth) Johnson, Gary (Melinda) Parrott, Steve ( Isabelle) Ratliff , Lynn (Tom) Uram, Julie Spoonamore, Teresa (Adam) Brumfield, Craig Parrott, Michael White, Aimee Williams, Laurel ( Bryan) Halim, Alison Curl and Nick Curl; eighteen great-grandchildren: Katie Robinson, Ben Robinson, Billy Johnson, Cathi Sue Johnson, Chelsea Howard, Jordan (Greg) Lobb, Sami Jo Parrott, Callie Parrott, Ben Parrott, Van Brumfield, Abigale Williams, Aurora Williams, Sarah Preston, Casey Robinson, Cassandra Ratliff, Jonathan Ratliff, Nathan Merideth, Kara Merideth; eight great-great-grandchildren: Alex Howard, Alyssa Howard, Brayden Dyer, Ava Howard, Maggie Couch, Jace Brewer, Olive Curl and Skylar Robinson; two brothers and two sisters: Rev. Ralph Benningfield of Sparta, Tennessee, Eldon ( Judy) Benningfield and Juanita (Lenny) Newton of Campbellsville and Shirley Coffey of Greensburg and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends including her beloved caregivers at Charleston Healthcare Center of Danville.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Ann Parrott in infancy; one brother and four sisters: Glenn Benningfield, Jenny Underwood, Ruby Morris, Majeal Hutchins and Dewel Richerson.

Curtis Phillips of Campbellsville, formerly of Tampa, Florida, son of the late Wayne Delmore Phillips and Phyllis Jean Kearney Phillips, was born July 22, 1967 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 3:00 A.M., Friday, September 1, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 50
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
Curtis was a former clerk at Chevron Stations as well as a mechanic. He received a lot of enjoyment from fixing up old cars and from cheering on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He is survived by two sisters: Lisa Robin Phillips Colodny of Parkland, Florida and Misty Phillips of Phoenix, Arizona; one niece, Samantha Colodny of Parkland, Florida; a dog, Buttercup, that he loved like a child; several cousins, aunts and uncles and many other friends.

Ronnie Barnett of Campbellsville, son of Dorothy VanDyke Barnett and the late Leslie Barnett, was born January 25, 1948 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 9:40 A.M., Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Louisville. Age: 69
He professed faith in Christ and attended Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Ronnie was well known for his love of music and both sang and played many different instruments. He had also played with several local bands in the community.
He was a retired plant manager with the Campbellsville Water Company.
He united in marriage to Shirley Cox September 16, 1995.
Besides his wife, Shirley Barnett, he is survived by one daughter: Cindy Swafford of Campbellsville; one step-daughter, Lisa McFall of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Ryan Swafford, Emily Swafford and Elizabeth Swafford; two step-grandchildren: Aaron McFall and Amye McFall; one step-great-grandchild, Hailey Raine Graham; his mother, Dorothy Barnett, all of Campbellsville; one brother, Bob Hill and wife, Nancy of Alvaton; one niece, Annette Hill of Bowling Green and many other relatives and friends.

Kathryn Farris of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Milton Wright and Mary Lizzie Skaggs Wright, was born July 8, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:32 P.M., Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 89
She professed faith in Christ and had attended Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Kathryn was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Shirley Underwood of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Shannon Underwood of Ashland, Brett Underwood of Campbellsville and Mandy Atkins of Spring Hill, Tennessee; two step-grandchildren: Grant Patterson and Tanya Corbin of Campbellsville; five great-grandchildren: Hunter Underwood and Kacie Underwood of Campbellsville, Quinton Bishop, Gannon Atkins and Annie Atkins of Spring Hill, Tennessee; one step-great-grandchild, Destiny Corbin of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister: Irvin Wright and Brenda Montgomery of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
