Joseph “Joe” Richardson of Campbellsville, son of the late Elmer Richardson and Daisy Berry Richardson, was born September 13, 1927, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:20 P.M., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith.
He was a veteran of World WarII having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was a former over-the-road truck driver with Yenkin Majestic Paint and a retired bus driver with the Campbellsville Independent School Systems.
He united in marriage to Beverly Ehlert March 25, 1951. She preceded him in death December 23, 1975.
He united in marriage to LaVena Wooden in August of 1977. She preceded him in death October 15, 2014.
He is survived by two sons and three daughters: Michael Richardson and wife, Saundra of Westerville, Ohio, Edward Richardson of Cecilia, Christine Judy and husband, Michael of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Beth Armstrong and husband, Scott of Laurelville, Ohio and Bridgette Hoover and husband, Jimmie of Robertsdale, Alabama; four step-children: Michael Logsdon and wife, Sandy of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Darin Quintero and Monica McIntosh and husband, Larry of Louisville and Greta Orlaska and husband, David of Dana Point, California; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Charles Richardson and wife, Phylis and Rosa Skaggs and husband, Barbee of Campbellsville and James Richardson and wife, Carlotta of Lebanon; man’s best friend, Chunk; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
The family will forever be grateful to Tammy & Eric Elder, caring friends and neighbors, who provided support in his last days.

Dollie Harmon of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Oliver Curby Cox and Hattie Clark Cox, was born May 22, 1921, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:10 A.M., Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in Greensburg. Age: 94
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
She was a former owner and operator of Harmon Furniture in Campbellsville with her husband, James E. Harmon, for many years.
She united in marriage to James E. Harmon December 18, 1937. He preceded her in death August 28, 1995.
She is survived by one grandson, Phil Harmon and wife, Gina of Villa Hills; one great-grandson, Nathan Harmon of Villa Hills; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Harmon December 2, 2015; two grandsons: Paul Everett Harmon October 11, 2004 and Jamie Harmon September 18, 1984 and one brother and three sisters: Garland Cox, Rena Shipp, Hallie Chaney and Leola Cox.

Janet Morris Dunlap of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joseph Morris, Sr. and Bonnie Wolford Morris, was born April 17, 1935, in Barren County, Kentucky. She died at 6:12 A.M., Monday, January 11, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 80
She professed faith in Christ.
She was a retired nurse after fifty years of service.
She united in marriage to Charles Warren Dunlap December 24, 1954. He preceded her in death April 6, 2012.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Steve and Judy G. Dunlap of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Charles C. Dunlap and wife, Carlotta of Campbellsville and Joseph G. Dunlap and wife, Natalie of Brentwood, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren: Skyler Dunlap of Florence, Camren Dunlap of Campbellsville and Gavin Dunlap of Brentwood, Tennessee; one brother and sister-in-law, George Morris and wife, Eloise of Annandale, Virginia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death a grandson, Michael S. Dunlap May 2, 2012 and two brothers, Joseph Morris, Jr. and Peggy Mattingly.

Debra Sue Newton of Campbellsville, daughter of Judy Angel Miller and husband, Rick Miller and the late George Ledford was born September 28, 1965 in Tampa, Florida. She died at 3:00 P.M., Friday, January 1, 2016 in Lexington. Age: 50
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
She was a former employee of Wal-Mart and Orville’s Restaurant.
She united in marriage to Johnny Ray Newton October 20, 1984. He preceded her in death March 27, 2012.
She is survived by three daughters and one son: Megan Priddy and husband, Donald, Michelle Davis Newton and Morgan Newton of Campbellsville and Wendell Reynolds and wife, Bobbie Jo of Greensburg; seven grandchildren: Michael Priddy and Arianna Davis Newton of Campbellsville and Cody Reynolds, Samantha Ford, Mercy Reynolds, Amy Reynolds and Devin Reynolds of Greensburg; two sisters and one brother: Cindy Marshall and husband, Eric, Carolyn Dryden and Rickey Leo Miller, Jr. and wife, Amy of Odessa, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Selena Newton March 27, 2005.

Kenneth Parker Ewing

Kenneth Parker Ewing of Campbellsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on December 31, 2015 at the age of 80. He was born on May 24, 1935 to his parents, the late Cash and Georgia Cooley Ewing of Bradfordsville.

Kenneth professed faith in Christ and was an active member of Campbellsville Christian Church in numerous ways including: Sunday School teacher, deacon, elder, Sunday School superintendent and an elder emeritus.

He was a graduate of Bradfordsville High School, Campbellsville College in 1955 and the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture in 1962. Kenneth participated in basketball during high school and while attending Campbellsville College. He also served as the Southern States regional agronomy supervisor at Campbellsville and was chairman of the Youth Education Committee of Kentucky Council of Cooperatives during 1975. He also was a member of the City Council for 9 years.
Kenneth was an Agronomist with the Southern States Cooperative for over 41 years.
He served his country honorably in the Army Reserves for 6 years.

He united in marriage to Patricia Adams on January 3, 1959.
Besides his wife of 57 years, Patricia Adams Ewing of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and one daughter: James “Jim” Ewing and wife, Charlotte of Nicholasville, Joseph Kenneth Ewing of Louisville and Jeanna Parker Ewing Godsted and husband, Mike of Crystal Lake, Illinois; four grandchildren: Samantha Godsted, Christopher Godsted and Zoe Godsted of Crystal Lake, Illinois and Nicholas Scott Ewing of Fort Worth, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Among those that have preceded him in death are one brother and one sister: Clyde E. Ewing and Marie Ewing Dever.
