Rex Brown of Campbellsville, son of the late Cecil Brown and Carrie Judd Brown, was born March 13, 1928, in Green County. He died at 11:59 A.M., Monday, January 25, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army and the United States Navy.
Rex was a member of Pitman Masonic Lodge 124 F & AM and a retired employee of Ford Motor Company. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He united in marriage to Patsy Dudgeon, who preceded him in death December 1, 2011.
He is survived by one son and three daughters: Cecil Brown and wife, Donna, Diana Sallee and husband, Doug and Donna Johnson and husband, Mark of Louisville and Deborah Perry and husband, Bill of Carlsbad, California; one step-son and two step-daughters: Tom Milby and wife, Phyllis, Jan Milby and Mary McVay and husband, Randy of Campbellsville; sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Aileen Morrisett of Louisville; one sister-in-law, Louise Brown, of Louisville; special friend, Preston Pyles of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Betty Cole February 13, 2013 and one brother, James Brown.

Sue Harris

Sue Harris of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Otha Dewey Hughes and Eliza Stanton Hughes, was born February 14, 1950, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:10 A.M., Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 65
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Feathersburg Church of God.
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom Cafeteria in Campbellsville and Warren’s Grocery.
She united in marriage to Spot Harris September 17, 1967.
Besides her husband, Spot Harris of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons and one daughter: John Harris and wife, Lisa, Raymond Jody Harris and wife, Anna and Joanie Price and fiance’, Donald Lokovich of Campbellsville; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Alfred Hughes and wife, Opal of Franklin, Indiana and Vera Faye Stants and Juanita Calhoun of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by eight brothers and four sisters: Bill Hughes, Moore Hughes, Jimmy Mike Hughes, J. B. Hughes, Delbert Lee Hughes, Rufus “Bootie” Hughes, Ray Hughes, John Hughes, Zelma Mae Gardner, Mary Lesley, Lillie Hughes and Sylvia Hughes.

Imogene Yates of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James William Proffitt, Sr. and Melinda Fore Proffitt, was born March 22, 1930, in Knox County, Kentucky. She died at 3:37 P.M., Monday, January 25, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 85
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pitman Valley Baptist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom Campbellsville after forty years of service.
She united in marriage to Clayton Yates, who preceded her in death May 28, 2000.
She is survived by one son and three daughters: Phillip Yates and wife, Chris and Norma Newton of Campbellsville, Sherry Cecil and husband, Greg of Franklin and Jewell Murray and husband, Lindsey of Georgetown; ten grandchildren: Amy Vibbert of Lexington, Jennifer Murray of North Vernon, Indiana, Michelle Fisher, Erica Wheatley and Ronnie Murray of Campbellsville, Michael Hovious of Lebanon, Chris Hovious of Louisville, Chad Haynes of Auburn, Kentucky, Paige Cecil of Franklin and Crystal Ducker of Georgetown; several great-grandchildren; one brother, J. W. Proffitt and wife, Viola of Lexington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by eight brothers and five sisters: Vernon Proffitt, Robert Proffitt, Bessie Roberts, Stacey Johnes, Effie Messer, Marclee Johnson and Rebecca Edmonson.

McKinneyCatherine McKinney of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Howard Day and Eleanor Boyle Day, was born July 14, 1932 in E. St. Louis, Illinois. She died at 8:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
She professed faith in Christ was a long-time and faithful member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple.
She united in marriage to Ernest McKinney who preceded her in death April 6, 1995.
She is survived by a maternal uncle, Col. Richard L. Boyle, USA Ret. of Nanuet, New York; several cousins; a host of church friends at Campbellsville Baptist Temple that were like family and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother Howard Day, Jr.

Walter Douglas Noel of Louisville, son of the late Felbert Ray Noel and Pearl Gabehart Noel, was born February 9, 1934, in Casey County. He died at 8:48A.M., Monday, January 25, 2016 in Louisville. Age: 81
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Branham Tabernacle in Jeffersonville where he served for many years as a deacon.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He worked at Johnson Control Battery Plant.
Mr. Noel united in marriage to Mezetta Ann Campbell July 6, 1963.
Besides his wife Mezetta Noel, is survived by three sons: Michael Noel and Nathan Noel of Louisville and Joseph Noel and wife, Tina of Jeffersonville, Indiana; three brothers and two sisters: Edward Noel, Bennie Noel, Henry Noel, Martha Noel and Ruth Noel; several nieces and nephews many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers: Mary Elleen, Nellie, Marie, Mabel, Mamie Wanda Jean, Charles Shelby, Earl Ray and Samuel Lee.
