Linda Myers of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Paul Hammond and Ethel Cundiff Hammond, was born March 6, 1957, in Russell County, Kentucky. She died at 9:43 A.M., Friday, April 28, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 60
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pitman Valley Baptist Church.
Linda was an employee of Campbellsville Apparel and Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Timmy Myers December 6, 1975.
Besides her husband, Timmy Myers of Campbellsville, she is survived by one son and one daughter: Billy Myers and Candy Newton and husband, Chad of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Chaz Newton and Cayson Newton of Campbellsville; four brothers and three sisters: Carl Hammond and wife, Sandy, Erastus Hammond, Danny Hammond and Joan Conner of Indianapolis, Indiana, Everett Hammond and wife, Joyce of Marion County, Betty Collins and husband, Doug of Russell County and Sue Strakel of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Linda was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers: Mona Gail Auberry, Helen Whittle, Johnny Hammond and Doug Hammond.

Kenneth “Possum” Mikel of Campbellsville, son of the late Rube Mikel and Catherine Bryant Mikel, was born May 30, 1952. He died at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 64
He united in marriage to Bonnie Mikel Milby March 8, 1982 and she preceded him in death May 7, 2002. He later united in marriage to Nina Auberry.
Besides his wife, Nina Mikel of Campbellsville, he is survived by two step-daughters:
Quinn Tina DeSpain and husband, Doug of Greensburg and Ashley Auberry of Campbellsville; three step-grandchildren: Quindolyn Judd and Jacob DeSpain of Greensburg and Aiden Auberry of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister: Wayne Mikel and Dora Mikel of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and six sisters: Guy Douglas Mikel, Mary Frances Mikel, Barbara Jean Mikel, Rena Murphy, Annette Smothers, Shirley Wise and Betty Compton.

Phyllis Jean Kearney Phillips of Tampa, Florida and Campbellsville, daughter of the late Homer Kearney and Helen McNear Kearney Browning, was born June 28, 1942, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 2:00 A.M., Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Coral Springs, Florida. Age: 74
She professed faith in Christ and attended Elk Horn Baptist Church when in Campbellsville.
Phyllis was very creative and loved crafting and sewing and was a very talented seamstress. She loved shopping and all things fashion and was also a willing spectator for impromptu ballet performances and fashion shows.
Phyllis united in marriage to Wayne Delmore Phillips September 27, 1961 and he preceded her in death April 7, 2011.
She is survived by one son and two daughters: Curtis Dwayne Phillips of Tampa, Florida, Lisa Robin Phillips Colodny of Coral Springs, Florida and Misty Phillips of Phoenix, Arizona; one granddaughter, Samantha Colodny of Coral Springs, Florida; Samantha’s father, John Colodny of Parkland, Florida; three brothers and two sisters: Larry Kearney and wife, Betty of Campbellsville; Mike Kearney and wife, Stephanie of Groesbeck, Texas, Ralph Kearney and wife, Carolyn of Cox’s Creek, Carol Montgomery and husband, Ed of Munfordville and Darlene Perkins of Frankfort; a special cousin, Barbara “Louise” Cook Alfieri of Lutz, Florida and a special longtime friend, ,Pat Alonzo of Tampa, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Paul Dexter Beard of Campbellsville, son of the late Rev. Shiley Franklin Beard and Eva Jewell Sexton Beard, was born January 12, 1946, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:00 Noon, Monday, April 24, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 71
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Paul served his country honorably in the United States Army and in the Army Reserve for over twenty-five years. He was an electrician for fifty plus years having retired from Thermal Equipment and Sales. Paul was a member of the Taylor County Cattleman’s Association, the American Legion and the Green River Bee Keepers.
Paul united in marriage to Ann Allen February 17, 1968.
Besides his wife, Ann Allen Beard of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Paula Rose and husband, Jay of Adair County and Damon Beard and Tammy Johnson of Campbellsville; one granddaughter, Mia Harris of Richmond, Kentucky; one sister, Phyllis Milby and husband, Tom of Campbellsville; brother-in-law, John Cable and wife, Debbie of Bowling Green; sisters-in-law: Sue Nicholson of Partlow, Virginia, Edie Strittmatter of Richland Hills, Texas and Nora Elza of Richmond, Indiana; special niece, Delayna Moore of Danville, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Patricia Steward and Peggy Cable.

Karen was a dedicated caregiver and loved by many.
