Paul McCubbin 2 Paul McCubbin of Campbellsville, son of the late William Nathan McCubbin and Vanda Foster McCubbin, was born April 24, 1924, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 3:55 A.M., Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Greensburg. Age: 92 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired Kentucky Alcohol, Beverage Control Officer and was a former Taylor County Sheriff. He was also a former employee of B & B Landscaping, President of the Jaycees and a farmer. He had farmed all of his youth and was happy knowing he could feed others as well as his own family. He was honored by the Governor of Kentucky as an outstanding farmer for the State of Kentucky. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorable in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Marie Miller who preceded him in death and later united in marriage to Martha Jane Acree June 2, 1973. Besides his wife, Martha Jane McCubbin of Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons and one daughter: Barry McCubbin and wife, Jessica of Campbellsville, Marvin McCubbin and wife, Bunny of Mt. Washington, Doug McCubbin and wife, Phyllis and Paula Ann Hedeen of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin; two step-children: Earl Milby and wife, Paula of Campbellsville and Ruth Warren and husband, Dean of Summersville; twelve grandchildren: Suzanne Wilson, Marvin McCubbin, Jr., W. D. McCubbin, Phil McCubbin, Simon Hedeen, Peyton McCubbin, Blake Milby, Hannah Milby, Stan White, Sydnie Fields, Jaxon McCubbin and Cailen Nolley; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters: Betty Lou Smith and husband, Granville of Louisville and Barbara Rogers of Ft. Walton, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Gerline Finn of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Jimmy Murrell and Voyce Pyles Murrell was born December 20, 1930 in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. She died at 1:22 A.M., Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Greensburg, Kentucky. Age: 85
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle.
She was a beautician for 50 years.
She united in marriage to Murey Finn December 20, 1951.
Besides her husband, Murey Finn of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons, Larry Finn and Jeff Finn of Campbellsville; two grandsons, Jordan Finn and wife, Andrea and Tanner Finn of Campbellsville; two great grandsons, Evan and Camden Finn; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters: Garner Murrell, Margaret Harlan, Maxine Clark, Gladys Blaydes and Eleanor Parke.

Geneva Cox of Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Wooley and Nannie Murphy Wooley was born September 18, 1918 in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 12:25 A.M., Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 97
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She attended Campbellsville College and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Kentucky University. She taught school in a rural school in Marion County and rural schools in Taylor County and was librarian at Taylor County High School for twenty-three years. She was in the teaching profession for some forty years before her retirement in June, 1978.
She united in marriage to George A. Cox April 1, 1962. He preceded her in death July 29, 1997.
She is survived by three step-daughters: O’Neal Moberly, Deanie Whitt and Glenda Jevans of Mt. Washington; four step-grandchildren: Mike Whitt, Glen Whitt, Ginny Whitt, and Heather Emmelhainz; several nieces and nephews, including Ron Ringler of Carthage, North Carolina who was her power of attorney and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother: Irene Floyd, Ruth Wells, Bernecie Russell, Leona Davis and David Wooley.

Marilyn Faye Poff of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter and Hattie Harrison Rainwater, was born January 21, 1940, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Greensburg, Kentucky at the age of 76. She was united in marriage to Charlie Thomas Poff on January 4, 1958. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. Besides her husband of 58 ½ years, she is survived by one son and one daughter: Thomas Poff and wife, Kaylene, of Campbellsville, and Phyllis Mills and husband, Brian, of Kennewick, Washington; two grandchildren: Adam Poff and wife, Shea, of Lebanon and Andrea Morrison and husband, Christopher, of Campbellsville; one step grand-daughter Kayleigh Mills Duddy and husband, Sean, of Paderborn, Germany; four great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren: Abby Morrison, Ethan Poff, Anna Poff, Jase Morrison, Alex Duddy, Jack Duddy and Hollie Duddy; six brothers and sisters: Martha Corbin, Carolyn Bright, Arlene Herron, Edith Humphress and husband, Billy Joe, Ronnie Rainwater and wife Helen, Joanna Gilbert and husband, Bill; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Douglas Rainwater.

Rodney Franklin Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late Edgar Cox and Nellie Mae Watson Cox, was born March 24, 1935, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:02 A.M., Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 81
He professed faith in Christ and attended Elk Horn Tabernacle.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and was later known as the neighborhood handyman.
He united in marriage to Margrie Thompson October 22, 1955. She preceded him in death October 19, 2009.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter: Kennie Cox and Paul Cox and fiancée, Deborah Sullivan of Campbellsville and Rhonda Gail Greene and husband, Reggie of Tucson, Arizona; eight grandchildren: Trenton Cox, Victoria Cox, Tanner Cox, Kevin Parker, Shannon Augusta, Tony Parker, Jason McQuarie and Madisen Sullivan; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Russell Cox and wife, Nellie Mae of Elk Horn; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by four sisters: Opal Wood, Ruby Wood, Regina Gabehart and Ina Spalding.
