Dellie Jewel Feese Johnson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Rufus Feese and Villa Lee Dunbar Feese, was born November 3, 1927, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 9:45 A.M., Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Knifley Christian Church.
She united in marriage to Jasper “Jack” Arnold August 17, 1946. He preceded her in death February 20, 1976.
She also united in marriage to James “Jimmie” R. Johnson October 28, 1982. He preceded her in death May 15, 1997.
She is survived by one brother and three sisters: Mickey Feese and wife, Carol of Cane Valley, Ludora Perkins of Knifley, Laverne Kennon and husband, Bob and Betty Mae White and husband, David of Campbellsville; a sister-in-law, Norene Feese of Knifley; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters: Clem Feese, George Cyrus Feese, Mattie Lee Feese, Rosa Lillian Feese, Euline Feese, Jeraldene Tucker and Maudye Hovious.

Elizabeth Forrest of Elk Horn, daughter of the late Taft Bright and Pauline Gribbons Bright, was born July 26, 1929, in Marion County, Kentucky. She died Sunday, March 6, 2016 in Greensburg. Age: 86
She was an employee of McFarland’s Meat Processing and Wise’s Custom Meating Process and more recently, Long John Silver’s Restaurant.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of White’s Ridge General Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Walter Forrest October 8, 1949.
Besides her husband, Walter Forrest of Elk Horn, she is survived by her one son and three daughters: Ronald Forrest and wife, Nancy of Elk Horn, Brenda Haycraft and husband, Darrell of Louisville, Donna Lankford and husband, Mike of Pekin, Indiana and Michelle Forrest of Nashville, Tennessee; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: David Tungate and wife, Joyce of Campbellsville, Polly Graybeal and husband, Pete of Louisville and Jetty Noe and husband, Henry of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

 Stanley C. Oakes of Campbellsville, son of the late James Isaac Oakes and Martha Alice Cash Oakes, was born December 28, 1926, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:55 P.M., Saturday, March 5, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 89 years, 2 months, 7 days.
He served the community in many different ways. As a teen, he carried the mail, first by mule, later by car in the Old Mac community. He drove a taxi cab for Mike’s Cab Company in Campbellsville and was a lineman for REA (now RECC). In 1953, he began a 39-year career at Fruit of the Loom in the bleach house for 75¢ an hour, later transferred to sewing machine mechanic and promoted to supervisor. He was an auxiliary police officer for the City of Campbellsville during the early 1970’s and assisted families during the April 1974 tornado outbreak. He was appointed a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Julian Carroll. In retirement, he continued repairing sewing machines for many members of the community free of charge.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.
He enjoyed playing guitar, playing cards, landscape acrylic painting, handcrafting bone-handled knives, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He united in marriage to Henrietta Glenn on October 17, 1947. Besides his wife, Henrietta of Campbellsville, he is survived by: one daughter and one son: Linda Oakes Russell and husband, Steve of Campbellsville, and Mark Oakes of Campbellsville.
Four grandchildren: Kathy Oakes England and husband, Joey of Campbellsville, S Isaac Russell and wife, Rebekah of Bowling Green, Whitney Oakes Graham and husband, Neal of Campbellsville, and Andrew Oakes and wife, Cora of Campbellsville.
Five great-grandchildren: Trey Graham, Maggie Oakes, Brooklyn England, Gabby England, and Shiann England; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Lester Oakes and a brother in infancy; and three sisters: Ida Warren, Sadie Clark, and Dorothy Atwell.

Tommy Gooslin of Saltillo, Tennessee, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Jesse Gooslin and Goldie Mae Crawford Gooslin, was born July 4, 1939, in Roanoke, West Virginia. He died Friday, February 26, 2016 in Saltillo, Tennessee. Age: 76
He was a farmer and construction worker and a retired employee of the Carpenters Union.
Tommy professed faith in Christ. He was a member of the Full Gospel Business Men and was always available to lend a helping hand.
He united in marriage to Tammy Naylor April 24, 1985.
Besides his wife, Tammy Gooslin of Saltillo, Tennessee, he is survived by three sons: Tommy Gooslin II and wife, Caroline of Florence, Alabama, Terry Gooslin and wife, Michelle of Campbellsville and Roger Gooslin of Columbia; three grandchildren: Rhett Gooslin, Megan Reeves and Caleb Gooslin; one great-granddaughter, Ava Mae Reeves; two brothers and five sisters: Ralph Gooslin and wife, Joyce, Deloris Overstreet and husband, James, Blanche Slaten and Dottie Roberts and husband, Gene of Illinois, Jesse Gooslin Jr. and wife, Marie and Nannette Norris of Ohio, and Shannon Kraft and husband, Carl of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters: Arnold Gooslin, Shirley Freund, Margaret Sherman and Jean Dotson.

Danny Ray Newton of Campbellsville, son of the late Dorris Ray Newton and Ruth Adams Newton was born September 7, 1958 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Campbellsville.
Age: 57
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith, having been baptized in 1983 at age 25.
He was former owner of Lee’s Famous Recipe in Greensburg.
He is survived by one son, Devin Ray Newton of Louisville; two sisters: Linda Maupin and husband, David of Danville, and Michelle Yates and husband, Ronnie of Campbellsville; one half-sister, Misty Chappel Heifner and husband, Warren of Canon City, Colorado; three nieces and two nephews: Casey Maupin, Chanci Yates, Hunter Yates, Brianna Heifner and Garrett Heifner; two great-nieces and two great nephews: Remi Jo Yates, Chanleigh Yates, Bentley Yates and Emmett Jaxon Clouse Maupin; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Allen Newton, May 29 , 1983.
