COXJay Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late Rufus Cox and Cora Bell Richerson Cox, was born July 20, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:12 A.M., Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Jay was a retired farmer as well as the owner of Cox Scrap Metal.
He united in marriage to Jewell Sallee on March 24, 1949. She preceded him in death May 15, 2013.
He is survived by two sons: Doug Cox and wife, Ann and Jason Cox and wife, Tammy of Campbellsville; ten grandchildren: Chasity Johnson, Brandon Cox, Clint Cox, Brooke Humphress, DJ Cox, Samantha Cox, Shania Cox, Mariah Cox, Dirt Cox and Spring Cox; six great-grandchildren; one brother, E. L. Cox and wife, Sue of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Cox.

Eleanor Parke of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Murrell and Voyce Pyles Murrell was born August 1, 1935 in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. She died at 10:15 P.M., Saturday, January 23, 2016 in Greensburg. Age: 80
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.
She united in marriage to Wallace Parke September 4, 1954. He preceded her in death December 20, 2015.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Sullivan and husband, Mike of Campbellsville; one daughter-in-law, Cheri Parke of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Sara Wilson and husband, Mike, Amanda Hughes and fiancé, Scott Hess of Campbellsville, Jason Sullivan of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Samantha Dale Sneed and special friend, Kyle Patrick Wilson of Ohio and Elizabeth Roos and husband, Christoffer of Sweden; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Gerline Finn and husband, Murey of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Sneed February 13, 20154, one son, Michael Parke July 23, 2015 and three sisters and one brother: Margaret Harlan, Gladys Blaydes, Maxine Clark and Garner Murrell.

She died at 10:05 P.M., Friday, January 22, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 75
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Sullivan Implement and Houchens.
She united in marriage to Billy Milby January 9, 1960.
Besides her husband, Billy Milby of Campbellsville she is survived by one daughter and one son: Karen Bruce and husband, Mike and Alan Milby and Marcia Bell of Mt. Sherman; three grandchildren: Kacy Bruce and wife, Christen of Campbellsville, Chad Bruce of Lexington and Richie Bell and wife, Jennifer of Elkhorn; three great-grandchildren: Jace Bruce, Claire Bruce and Cory Spurling; three sisters and one brother: Margaret Durham, Helen Brown, Mabel Sullivan and David Skaggs of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers: Anna Mary Skaggs, Ruby Miller, Albert Gwynn Skaggs and J.T. Skaggs.

Raymond Wells of Campbellsville, son of the late Charles Wells and Elizabeth Salsman Wells was born December 19, 1948 in Larue County, Kentucky. He died at 10:35 A.M., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 67
He was a retired employee of General Electric in Louisville.
He united in marriage to Brenda Cox.
Besides his wife, Brenda Cox Wells of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Jennifer and Rich Reynolds of Versailles and Melissa and David Smith of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Lucas Reynolds of Versailles, Rudy Smith and Luci Smith of Lebanon; two brothers: Timmy Wells of Louisville and Billy Wells and wife, Kay of Hodgenville several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Griffin William Reynolds and two brothers, Fred Wells and Ricky Wells.

She professed faith in Christ was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church.
She retired from the Taylor County Court Clerk’s office.
She united in marriage to Wendell Hughes August 17, 1959.
Besides her husband, Wendell Hughes of Elk Horn, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Tommy and Missy Hughes of Campbellsville and Danny and Rhonda Hughes of Frankfort; seven grandchildren: Janson Hughes and wife, Leigh Ann of Hodgenville, Devin Hughes and wife, Amber of Glasgow, Dustin Hughes and wife, Bethany of Haltom City, Texas, Derek Hughes and wife, Mary Beth of Corbin, David Hughes and wife, Ashley of Frankfort, Benjamin McCubbin of Bowling Green and Michael McCubbin of Campbellsville; a spiritual granddaughter, Ashleigh Lewis; five great-grandchildren: Alissa Ann Hughes, Austin Thomas Hughes, John Wendell Hughes, Amy Lee Hughes and Joshua Wayne Hughes; three sisters and five brothers: Linda Whitaker of Omaha, Nebraska, Othella Eggers of Ferguson, Mary Ritchie of Nicholasville, Daniel Newberry of Somerset, Winston Newberry and Rollis Newberry of Clarksville, Tennessee, Edsel Newberry of Quid City, Illinois, and Bill Newberry of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
