Melba Boots

Melba Boots of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Wesley Hall and Anna Alice Taylor Hall, was born in Warsaw, Kentucky, July 2, 1925. She died at 1:43 P.M., Thursday, May 15, 2014 in Greensburg.   Age: 88

She was saved by grace through Jesus Christ at an early age and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church. She loved her churches, taught Sunday School, training union, WMU, GA’s, Acteens and Bible School.

She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and was a retired housewife of many years. She was also an employee at the pencil factory in Georgetown, Kentucky.

She is survived by one son, Vernon Boots and wife, Martha of Pahrump, Nevada and two daughters: Carolyn Reynolds and husband, Chuck of Kettering, Ohio and Brenda Franklin of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Michael Boots, Robert Boots, Jamilyn Boots, Jody Sayegh, Dwanna Ford, Dwayne Cox, Angela Marshall and Andrea McCubbin; thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters: Charles Vernon Hall, Lillie Ann Lillard, Lucy Grisham, Aileen Carlton and Jesse Lee Carver.

Bob Nance

Bob Nance of Campbellsville, son of the late Claude H. Nance and Elna Goff Nance, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky. March 23, 1935. He died at 9:44 A.M., Thursday, May 15, 2014, in Campbellsville.   Age: 79

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith.

He was a retired engineering technician with the United States Department of Agriculture for approximately thirty-nine years.

He united in marriage to Alice Roberts August 25, 1955.

Besides his wife, Alice Nance of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Tony Nance and wife, Teresa of Hopkinsville and Greta Jo Smith and husband, Steve of Frankfort; two grandchildren: Dani Smith and Clint Smith of Frankfort; and many other relatives and friends.

Max Sutton

Max Sutton of Campbellsville, son of the late Lowell M. Sutton and Arlene Golay Sutton, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, June 23, 1945. He died at 4:15 P.M., Tuesday, May 13, 2014, in Campbellsville.   Age: 68

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church where he served as an Elder.

He was a member of Gideons International and the Campbellsville Kiwanis, where he was past president in 2013.

He attended Purdue University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Engineering.

He retired as Manager of Engineering at Ingersol Rand; was a Broker at Paul Osborne Reality and for the last 20 years, was owner of “The Book” Store in Campbellsville and Glasgow, with his wife.

He united in marriage to Jane Anne Hoffer June 12, 1966.

Besides his wife, Jane Sutton of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son: Brian Scott Sutton of Ashland and one daughter: Sara Anne Harris and husband, Phillip of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Samantha Harris, Austin Harris, Jordan Sutton and Brianna Harris, all of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister: David L. Sutton and wife, Joyce of Galveston, Indiana and Marianne Windgate of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister-in-law, Lady Ann Sutton of San Antonio, Texas;

several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Clyde Sutton, JoAnne Sutton and Linda Keller.

Thomas Wayne Morgan II of Campbellsville, son of Thomas Morgan and Tammie Durham, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 7, 1992. He died at 11:12 P.M., Sunday, May 11, 2014 in Campbellsville.     Age:   21

He was a former employee of Dairy Queen in Campbellsville.

He is survived by his mother, Tammie Durham of Campbellsville; his father and step-mother: Thomas and Tracy Morgan of Campbellsville; he is survived by one brother: Jesse James Durham of Campbellsville; grandparents: Rosa and David Clements and James Hedgespeth of Campbellsville; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother David Thomas Durham.

Margaret Graham

Margaret Graham of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Alonzo Rouse and Ella Rhynearson Rouse, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 16, 1929. She died at 1:52 A.M., Monday, May 12, 2014 in Lexington.

Age: 84

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Merrimac Christian Church.

She retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after some thirty-eight years.

She united in marriage to Lindsey Graham December 20, 1947. He preceded her in death January 11, 1988.

She is survived by two sons: Steve Graham and wife, Debbie and Tim Graham and wife, Carla of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Neil Graham and wife, Whitney, Clay Graham and wife, Emily, Colton Graham, and Cory Graham of Campbellsville, Andrea Neilies and husband, Chris of Bowling Green, and David Graham and wife, Carolyn of Buffalo, New York; five great-grandchildren: Michael Graham, Jeannie Graham, Leah Graham, Kim Graham and Kendall Riley Graham; two sisters: Beverly Smith and husband, Buck and Lula Belle Bush and husband, Ed of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers: Faye Harmon, Thelma Adams, Elmer Rouse, Bobby Rouse and Mitchell Rouse.
