CECIL SHARPE

Cecil Sharpe of Campbellsville, son of the late June Sharpe and Lora Milby Sharpe was born May 29, 1932 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 1:40 A.M., Saturday, October 5, 2013 in Campbellsville.                    Age: 81

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church and attended Salem Baptist Church.

He was a Farmer and Truck Driver.

He united in marriage to Helen Rainwater May 26, 1951.

Besides his wife, Helen Sharpe of Campbellsville he is survived by one son and one daughter: Gary Wayne Sharpe and wife, Sharon of Lexington and Diane Hunt and husband, Stewart of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Brian Sharpe and wife, Tiffany of Corbin, Melissa Sharpe of Lexington, Jessica Squires and husband, Billy of Greensburg and Jonathan Hunt and wife, Allison of Russellville; two great grand-daughters: Katelynn Savannah Squires and Meghan Elizabeth Squires; one sister: Evelyn Fisher of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Raymond Sharpe, Edward Sharpe, James Rollin Sharpe, Joseph Thomas Sharpe, Louise Atwell and Aileen Hayes.

Marie Pike Russell

Marie Pike Russell of Franklin, Tennessee, formerly of Old Columbia Road in Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ulysses Alvin Pike and Clara Mae McQuese Pike, was born July 28, 1917, in Taylor County, Kentucky.  She died at 9:52 P.M., Tuesday, October 2, 2013, in Nashville.   Age: 96

She united in marriage to Leonard Russell October 19, 1935.  He preceded her in death April 4, 1986

She is survived by two daughters:  Janice Russell Wilder and husband, James Andrew of Winter Park, Florida and Donna Russell Blewett and husband, Bill of Franklin, Tennessee; two grandchildren:  David Andrew Wilder and wife, Julie of Florida and Anne Campbell of Brentwood, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren:  Anna Wilder and Ethan Wilder; one sister, Hazel Eggenberger of Rochester, Minnesota; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Max Russell January 31, 1998 and two sisters and four brothers:  Nellie Allison, Ellamae Colvin, James Pike, Russell Pike, Raymond Pike and Garnett Pike.

W. Paul Smith

W. Paul Smith of Mannsville, son of the late William T. Smith and Blanka Rose Boll Smith, was born August 26, 1928, in Little Rock, Arkansas.   He died at 2:15 P.M., Wednesday, October 2, 2013 in Louisville.                     Age: 85

He professed faith in Christ and attended Mannsville United Methodist Church.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, having served his country honorably in the United States Army for some twenty-six years and retiring as Sergeant Major.

He was a member of the Elk Horn Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F & AM, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Shriners.

He united in marriage to Goldie O. Cox May 30, 1962.

Besides his wife, Goldie O. Smith of Mannsville, he is survived by one son, Clifford Krider of Campbellsville; three granddaughters:  Nicole Krider and Natasha Krider of Louisville and Michelle Wallkey of Richmond; one great-grandson, Logan Porter Stubbs; one brother, Rex L. Smith and wife, Cathy of Denton, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Marlea Angelique McCubbin September 20, 2008 and two brothers and two sisters:  Robert Smith, Jimmy Smith, Julia Mae Clinton and Rose Marie Dwengor.

Danny W. Clark of Campbellsville, son of Laverne Clark Sapp and the late Roy Clark was born June 21, 1958 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 6:00 P. M.,

Saturday, September 28, 2013 in Campbellsville.              Age: 55

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was an employee of Campbellsville Industries.

He united in marriage to Shelby Rakes June 21, 1994.

Besides his wife, Shelby Clark of Campbellsville he is survived by two sons: Daniel Clark and Jacob Clark and his mother Laverne Sapp of Campbellsville; four brothers and two sisters and spouses: Greg and Kathy Clark, Mike and Tuttie Clark, Steve and Stacey Sapp and Marsha and Michael Gribbins of Campbellsville and Leslie and Lois Sapp and Patricia Huddleston of Columbia; mother-in-law, Ruth Mae Rakes of Bradfordsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his step-father, William “Zeak” Sapp and his father-in-law, Vernal Henry Rakes.

DONALD RINEHART

Donald Rinehart of Campbellsville, son of the late Ray Rinehart and Clara Lamme Rinehart, was born March 16, 1947, in Taylor County, Kentucky.  He died at 1:05 P.M., Thursday, September 26, 2013 in Campbellsville.    Age: 66

He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.

He united in marriage to Eleasia “Lisa” Rinehart November 25, 1966.  She preceded him in death November 14, 2009.

He united in marriage to Paula Livermore June 18, 2011.

Besides his wife, Paula Rinehart of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Tracey Rinehart of Campbellsville; three grandchildren:  Conner Rinehart, Grant Rinehart and Lauren Rinehart; one sister  and brother-in-law, Donna and Roger Webster of Prospect; mother-in-law, Opal Mings of Campbellsville, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Keith and Donna Livermore of Knifley and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Nelson Rinehart and Ray Rinehart Jr. and father-in-law, Jodie Mings.
