Ronald A. Smith of Campbellsville, son of the late Roger A. Smith and Lena Opal Hord Smith was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, October 26, 1949. He died at 8:20 P.M., Friday, March 4, 2011, in Campbellsville.
Age: 61
He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by one daughter, Melissa Dawn Smith of Campbellsville; one granddaughter, Candace Lauren Gribbins of Williamstown, West Virginia; one brother and his wife, Terry L. and Connie Smith of Parkersburg, West Virginia; several other relatives and many friends.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Opal Jean Leftwich
April 21, 1999.

Margaret Netherland of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Samuel T. Newcomb and Maggie Jane McKenty Newcomb, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, October 17, 1918. She died at 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
She had professed faith in Christ and was a life-long member of the First United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, youth teacher and choir member for many years.
She was a retired Home Economics teacher with the Taylor County School System.
She united in marriage to Earl Netherland in June 5, 1942. He preceded her in
death in February 18, 1982.
She is survived by one son and two daughters: William “Bill” Netherland and wife, Tillie of Campbellsville; Gail Perkins and husband, Jim of Brentwood, Tennessee and Diane Seagle and husband, George of Springfield, Illinois; eight grandchildren: Angie Keller and husband, Chris and Lisa Netherland of California, Mary Wells and husband, Rob of Danville, Billy Joe Netherland of Lexington, Tracy Grogan and husband, Bob of Illinois, Robin Petty and husband, Justin of Union, Kentucky, Neil Netherland of Louisville and Jenny Miller and husband, Jim of Campbellsville; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, David Newcomb, Sr. of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amy Netherland December 23, 1993, one sister and one brother: Christine Kuhlman and Edward Newcomb.

She had professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
She was a retired hairdresser.
She united in marriage to Ralph Gabehart October 18, 1975. He preceded her in death April 17, 1989.
She is survived by a daughter, Dawn Minton of Mt. Orab, Ohio; three grandchildren: Jessica Sexton and husband, Jake of Withamsville, Ohio, Lisa Hall and Austin Minton of Mt. Orab, Ohio; one brother and two sisters: Harold Kidd, Fayrene King and Nannie Thackston of Pine Knot, Kentucky;
several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Kidd.

John M. Schwoebel, Sr. of Campbellsville, son of the late John Jacob Schwoebel and Jean Schwoebel Scott, was born in Jefferson County, Kentucky, June 13, 1944. He died at 1:08 P.M., Monday, February 28, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 66
He was a retired mechanic for BF Goodrich Chemical and Zeon Chemical.
He was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Columbia.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus fourth degree Msgr. McGee Assembly #309, a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Father Patrick Creed Council #12923, current District Deputy for Knights of Columbus, and past Grand Knight.
He united in marriage to Bev Bernard April 11, 1964.
Besides his wife, Bev Schwoebel, he is survived by children: Marty Schwoebel and wife, Teresa, Lori Lee, Jami and Cassi Schwoebel of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Trista Schwoebel, Aaron Schwoebel, Tyler Lee and Hunter Lee of Campbellsville; two sisters: Shirley Metcalfe of Louisville and Linda Womack of Shepherdsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She is survived by a son, James A.
