Clodean Giles of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Glenn Campbell and Claudia Harden Campbell, was born April 23, 1931 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:48 A.M., Friday, January 22, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 89
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith.
She united in marriage to J. C. “Curly” Giles July 9, 1947 and he preceded her in death
December 9, 2017.
Clodean was loved by everyone who met her and was known to be a kind and generous person and a great and loving mother.
She also loved working in her flowers.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Gary Giles and wife, Jenny of Greensburg, Dianne Wood and husband, Jerry of Elk Horn and Roger Giles of Lebanon; five grandchildren:
Gene Giles and wife, Jennifer of Goshen, Allison Warren and husband, Greg of Campbellsville, Melissa Surratt and husband, Jeremy of Greensburg and Jordan Giles and Jacob Giles of Lebanon; three great-grandchildren: Katie Grace Giles, Tyler Thompson and Izabella McKinney; one step-granddaughter, Emily Ray and husband, Dustin of Hodgenville; two step-great-grandsons: Arai Ray and Datsun Ray; one brother, Skip Campbell and wife, Jan of Glasgow; three sisters-in-law: Charlotte Kinardy of Bowling Green, Doris Campbell of Elizabethtown and Pat Campbell of Kansas and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Clodean was preceded in death by a grandson, Byron Wood and two brothers and one sister: Ransell Campbell, Shannon Campbell and Bardaria Bland.

Edith Coakley, the daughter of the late Henry and Pearl (Hickinbottom) Glover, was born August 17, 1930 in Jamestown, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Campbellsville at her home. She was 90 years of age.

She was a former home health worker and attended the Green River House of Worship.

Edith enjoyed gardening and being outside, either working or just enjoying natures beauty.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Harold T. Coakley, three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by: two daughters and three sons: Betty Jo Shively, Peggy Sue Gilpin and husband Les, Danny Joe Buck and wife Brenda, George A. Buck and wife Wanda and James Mitchell Buck all of Campbellsville; a sister-in-law: Gwendola Glover of Indiana; a special friend: Mac Cox of Campbellsville; fourteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Edith Coakley will be conducted Friday, January 22, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Bro. Jeff Edwards will be officiating.

Dwight Phillips Sandidge of Campbellsville, son of the late Daniel Dwight Sandidge and Mary Phillips Sandidge was born February 28, 1929 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Campbellsville. Age: 91
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lou Hord Sandidge.
He made a profession of faith in Christ at Greensburg Presbyterian Church and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville.

He was retired from Flav-O-Rich Dairy.
Dwight served in the United States Navy, was an avid golfer and lifetime member of Campbellsville Country Club.

Dwight is survived by the following: a daughter, Beth (Sammy) Levinson, of Boynton Beach, Florida, and a son, Ben (Suzanne) Sandidge of Danville, a sister, Helen Sandidge Underwood of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Jess (Clara) Sandidge of Campbellsville, Brook (Scott) Hollis of Georgetown, Indiana, Samantha Sandidge of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Mackenzie Sandidge of Lexington, Meggan (Will) Graham of Lexington and Erin (Brian) Lanpear of Bowling Green; five great-grandchildren: Keaton and Lola Hollis and Reid, Collins and Bishop Graham.

Murey Finn of Campbellsville, son of the late George Taylor Finn and Carrie Keltner Finn, was born September 25, 1928 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 5:50 P.M., Friday, January 15, 2021 in Boonville, Indiana. Age: 92
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a retired businessman in the carpet and tile industry most of his life as the owner and operator of Finn’s carpet. Murey served as a Gideon for over thirty years, he also served in prison ministry as assistant Chaplin at Marion Adjustment Center. Murey was a devout Christian and dedicated his life to the Lords work. Murey united in marriage to Geraline Murrell December 20, 1951 and she preceded him in death in June 26, 2016.
He is survived by two sons, Larry Finn and Jeff Finn; two grandsons: Jordan Finn and wife, Andrea and Tanner Finn; two great grandsons: Evan and Camden Finn and a sister-in-law Lillie Finn all of Campbellsville; also survived by
several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Arvid Finn, Glen Finn, Eddie Finn, Virginia Phelps and Bernice Wood.

Age: 67
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Soule’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Donnie enjoyed working with cattle for Dr. Ben Cox.
He fought hard to overcome his illnesses and was a kind-hearted man who never met a stranger.
He united in marriage to Bobbie Jo Walborn June 22, 1989.
Besides his wife, Bobbie Jo Lotter of Campbellsville, Donnie is survived by two daughters and three sons: Donna Bragg and husband, Tim of Nashville, Tennessee, Misty Thompson of Danville, Donnie Lotter, Jr. and Jeremy Lotter and wife, Jessica of Campbellsville and Jason Lotter and wife, Angie of Lexington; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, Dale Lotter and Wandis Lotter he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Buck, a brother, Roger Lotter and a sister, Wanda Gail Lotter in infancy.

Mr. David Alan Carroll of Elk Horn, son of the late William Sanford and Flora Alma (Harrison) Carroll, was born in Ottawa, Illinois on February 6, 1963. He departed this life on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his home. He was 57 years of age.

Mr. Carroll was the manager of commercial sales at AutoZone in Campbellsville and was of the Baptist faith.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Dallas “Bill” Carroll, in November 2019.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

Three brothers: Calvin Ray Carroll and wife Denise of Illinois, James Robert Carroll of Somerset, and Harold Gene Carroll of Illinois,

A sister-in-law: Chris Carroll of Missouri,

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

The family chose cremation. There are no public services scheduled at this time.

Margey Price Mabe of Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Wesley Price and Sally Ellen Shofner Price, was born September 6, 1926 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 2:45 P.M., Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 94
She professed faith in Christ and loved attending Bible Baptist Tabernacle.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.
Margey was a loving and sweet mother and grandmother. She was a kind-hearted, friendly lady who enjoyed socializing.
Margey united in marriage to Roy Mabe July 2, 1945 and he preceded her in death March 8, 2001.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Kenneth Poteet of Louisville; two grandsons: Christopher Poteet and Gregory Poteet and four great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Rose Poteet, Christian Scott Poteet, Emma Nicole Poteet and Andrew Brooks Poteet; three special friends: George and Flora Ober and Rita Smalley; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by six sisters: Pauline Price Sherrard, Belva Price McCubbins, Ellen Mae Price Epperson, Dora Price Kohl, Eva Price Skaggs and Mary Inis Price Martin.
The family would like to thank Grandview Nursing and Rehab for their excellent care of Margey during her stay there.

She had professed her faith in Christ.
Nadine was a housewife.
She united in marriage to Richard Arvil Rafferty May 5, 1954 and he preceded her in death January 8, 1993.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Gail Rafferty of Louisville; one step-grandson, Mark Rafferty; one step-great-granddaughter, Brooke Nichole Rafferty; one brother, Raymond Skaggs of Campbellsville; five nieces: Peggy Weis and husband, Robert and Jean Marie Skaggs of Louisville, Penny Cook of Summersville, Doris Sprowles and Judy Geralds and husband, Jimmy of Glasgow; one nephew, Arlan Pritchard and wife, Carolyn of Taylorsville and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by a step-son, Richard C. Rafferty, a step-daughter-in-law Sandy Rafferty, who had been most faithful in caring for Nadine as long as she was able and one sister and one brother: Flora Elizabeth Pritchard and Robert F. Skaggs and her twin brother, William Eugene “Bill” Skaggs.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the excellent care Nadine received at the Masonic Home and by Hosparus.
