Jessie Douglas Clark of Campbellsville, son of the late Roy Hobert Clark and Mary Haggie Gribbins Clark, was born December 1, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:35 P.M., Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 81
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church, where he was a custodian for twenty-five years.
He was known to be a hard worker, having been employed at Fruit of the Loom, Chappell’s Dairy, Walmart and Fleetwood.
Doug was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.
He united in marriage to Diane Bright Clark February 26, 1959 and she preceded him in death July 15, 2015.
He is survived by two sons and three daughters: Jeff Clark and wife, Sherry, Mark Clark and wife, Laura, Teresa Ralls and Karen Mardis and husband, Gary of Campbellsville and Kathy Clark of Bowling Green; eleven grandchildren: Jeremy Clark, Lydia Clark Corey and husband, Gill, Shayla Clark, Scott Seaborne and wife, Shaina, Casey Seaborne and wife, Allie, Jessica Seaborne, Rachel Reynolds and husband, Tyler, Chad Payton and wife, Nicole, Matt Payton and wife, Whitney, Mason Mardis and wife, Erica and Sasha Jones and husband, Justin; eighteen great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Buford Clark of Macon, Georgia and Laverne Sapp of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Leslie Clark, Gordon Clark, Gladys Franklin and Beulah Pyles.

May Dorothy Hughes Rogers, 91, of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Hughes, was born July 18th, 1930, in Camden, New Jersey, and departed this life peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, in Greensburg, Kentucky.
She professed her faith in Christ and was of Methodist faith. May received an associate’s degree in culinary skills and had the ability to turn basic ingredients from her kitchen into a gourmet meal.
She united in marriage to Alford Rogers in 1955, who precedes her in death.
Survived by one son: Paul Alford Rogers of Greensburg, Kentucky.
One grandchild: Daniel Rogers of New Jersey.
One great-grandchild: Milo Steven Rogers of New Jersey.
Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Rogers is preceded in death by one son: Gary Steven Rogers.
The family chose cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date by the family. Auberry Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Glenwood Richerson of Campbellsville, son of the late Tommy Henry Richerson and Lena Jarboe Richerson, was born August 5, 1942 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 6:50 P.M. at Campbellsville Nursing & Rehab. Age: 79
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He worked for thirty-four years at Parker-Kalon and retired February 25, 2000. He was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle to all who knew him. He loved UK basketball and watching westerns.
Glenwood united in marriage to Linda Kay Spear May 24, 1967 and they were married fifty-four years.
Besides his wife, Linda Richerson of Campbellsville, Glenwood is survived by one adopted son, Steven Thomas Richerson of Campbellsville; sister-in-law, Brenda Argo and husband, David; nephews: Jay Allan and Andy Nash and wife, Kelly, all of Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Lonnie Spear and wife, Cathy; niece, Jennifer Spear Jenkins, all of Elizabethtown; five nephews: Ronnie Hayes and Tina Costello, Robbie Hayes and wife, Carol, Leslie Richerson and wife, Chun, Terry Richerson and wife, Gaynelle and Johnny Richerson and wife, Lisa, all of Campbellsville; best friends: Barry King, Bobby Cave and James Garner, all of Campbellsville.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Henry Richerson and Lena K. Jarboe Richerson; brother, Rev. Marion Robert “Bobby” Richerson; two sisters: Martha Jane Richerson and Lois Virginia Hayes.

Martha Bell Jones was born on October 22, 1937 in Clanton, Alabama. A former Chilton County Peach Queen, Martha attended Auburn University, where she was a cheerleader.
She married Dr. James E. Jones, and they have three children; Angie Garner (Pat), Darlene Head, and Byron Jones. They have five grandchildren; Trey Garner (Sarah), Kristen Dabbs (Nick), David Garner (Annie), Brittany Head, and Taylor Head.
They have eight great-grandchildren; Kennedy Head, Gates Garner, Garner Dabbs, Gray Dabbs, Briggs Dabbs, Ford Garner, Jones Garner and Hobbs Garner, and awaiting the arrival of great-granddaughter, Chapman Garner in December. She is also survived by one sister, Katherine Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James D. Bell and Lora Rose Oliver Bell and two brothers: Henry Bell and Jimmy Bell.
Martha was passionate about genealogy and she loved to travel.
She loved her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and exemplified a Christ-like spirit in her daily life.
Martha loved her family so much. Her children, grand-children, and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. She loved her husband James dearly, and he adored her. James and Martha Jones illustrated what a Christ-centered marriage is all about.
Martha Jones lived big and loved big. She had a way of making others feel as though they were the most important person in the world. We’ve lost a beloved friend and matriarch, but heaven has gained an angel. Martha enjoyed life to the fullest, and we should consider ourselves blessed to have been a part of this wonderful life. The family would also like to thank the companionship and services of caregiver, Logan Osbourn.

Larry T. Clark of Campbellsville, son of the late Raymond Paul Clark and Mary Emma Davidson Clark, was born January 5, 1945 in Campbellsville. He died Friday, August 6, 2021 in Norman, Oklahoma. Age: 76
He professed faith in Christ.
After graduation from Taylor County High School, he joined the United States Air Force and served from 1964 to 1984, attaining the rank of Master Sergeant.
He is survived by two daughters: Lorie Clark Christensen (Kevin) and Tricia Adams (Rob); seven grandchildren: Christen (Chance), David (Rebecca), Dakota, Priscilla (Logan), Miranda, Grayson and Alyson; two great-grandchildren: Cambree and Codee; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother: Marcille Blevins and Paul Clark.
The family chose cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

 Mr. Bernard David “Bernie” Shrader, Jr. of Campbellsville passed from this life on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the Baptist Hardin Hospital. Born on April 2, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Bernard David Sr and Jane Shrader, he was 61 years, 4 months, and 10 days of age. He was a HVAC installer and repairman, specializing in ammonia refrigeration.
He leaves to cherish his memory:

 S He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and making people laugh and was just a simple man and was a press operator until his health declined.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Appleby.
He is survived by his wife: Lisa (Corbin) Appleby, two children: Mariah Appleby and Michael Appleby; his father-in-law: James Corbin and wife: Debbie; his mother-in-law: Mary Corbin and companion: Edward “Pee Wee” Dulworth and a host of other relatives and friends.
A private graveside service for Richard “Ricky” Appleby will be conducted at the Tallow Creek Cemetery.

He was a retired farmer.
Gordon is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Mildred Haynes of Campbellsville; one nephew, Chad Haynes and wife, Amanda of Auburn; one niece, Amber Hill and husband, Dartanya of Louisville; several great-nephews, great-nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Ina Ford Humphress, 83, of Elkhorn, Kentucky, daughter of the late Rue L. Ford and Bertha (Callahan) Ford, was born January 30th, 1938, in Taylor County and departed this life peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, August 13th, 2021, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
She professed her faith in Christ and was a member of Christie Chapel United Methodist Church in Knifley, Kentucky.
Mrs. Ina, known as “Ma” to her loving family and the community had the sweetest soul ever. She was a very special lady to all who knew her and will be missed terribly. She had a love for flowers especially blue ones and a passion for bluebirds. She had battled cancer four times in her life.
Mrs. Ina worked at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and retired after forty plus years of employment.
She united in marriage to Richard Kenneth Humphress on June 11th, 1955, who precedes her in death on January 4th, 2009.
Survived by two sons: Vernon Humphress and wife, Debbie; and Alvin Humphress and his wife, Marsha, both of Elkhorn, Kentucky.
Four grandchildren: Amy Humphress of Casey Creek; Andrea Farmer and her husband, Jason, of Campbellsville; Amanda Burress and her husband, Adam, of Elkhorn; and Leigh Ann Humphress of Elkhorn.
Five great-grandchildren: Kylee Bardin and Aubree Bardin of Casey Creek; Jacey Farmer of Campbellsville; Elly Farmer of Campbellsville; and Peyton Burress of Elkhorn.
Three brothers: Carl Ford and wife, Carol of Knifley; Gary Ford and wife, Pauline of Campbellsville; and Eric Ford and wife, Jennifer of Campbellsville.
Three sisters: Galoris Hedgespeth and her husband, Ralph of Campbellsville; Shirley James of Indiana; and Lana Ford of Campbellsville.
Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Ina is preceded in death by:
One infant son: Keith Richard Humphress, May 2nd, 1956.
Six sisters: Ruby McDonald, Ena Hicks, Wilma Combs, Anita Elmore, Marsa Cox, and Zilpha Reece.
Three brothers: Rue L. Ford, Jr., Ray Ford, and Daniel Ford.
VISITATION: Monday, August 16th, 2021, from 5pm-8pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

Juanita Newton of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Sammie T. Benningfield and Rinnie L. Short Benningfield was born April 15, 1930 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:33 P.M., Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home. Age: 91
She professed faith in Christ and was a devoted member of Good Hope Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and was active in the Women’s Missionary Union for many years.
She worked in the cafeteria for the Campbellsville School System where she enjoyed getting to work with the kids. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy and she was always their biggest supporter. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and friend to all who knew her.
She united in marriage to Lynwood Newton May 14, 1949.
Besides her husband, Lynwood Newton of Campbellsville, she is survived by two daughters and two sons: Judy Dabney of Campbellsville, Deborah Wade and husband, Dee of Louisville, Jeff Newton and wife, Cathy of Campbellsville and Russ Newton and wife Krista of Buckner; eight grandchildren: Traver Dabney and wife, Kelli of Versailles, Tara Dabney of Chicago, Seth Wade of Louisville, Jenny Newton and husband, Eric, Ben Newton and wife, Sheere, Drew Newton and wife Megan, of Campbellsville, Grant Newton and Macy Newton of Buckner; fourteen great-grandchildren: Catherine Dabney, Olivia Dabney, Scarlet Dabney of Versailles, Parker Newton, Sarah Newton, Sophia Newton, Lilly Newton, Emma Newton, Myles Newton, Avery Newton, Bryce Newton and Riley Newton, Tate Newton and Luke Newton of Campbellsville; one sister and one brother: Shirley Coffey and Eldon Benningfield and wife, Judy of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
