 Ms. Betty M. Anderson, 87, of Campbellsville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Elmer Stubbs and Katherine Romine of Taylor County was born on November 17, 1933 and departed this life on March 29, 2021, at her home.
She was united in marriage in 1947 to George Elwood Anderson, who preceded her in death April 28th, 1988.
Betty professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith. She loved traveling, bowling and playing cards with her family.
Ms. Anderson is survived by two sons and one daughter: Kenny Anderson of Campbellsville, Kentucky; Jimmy Anderson and wife Lisa of Columbia, Kentucky; and Mary Whitlow of Campbellsville, Kentucky; one very special friend, Dorothy Lowe, who was a caregiver and companion; thirteen grandchildren,several great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by a son, Woody Anderson on November 16th, 2016; one brother and one sister: Richard Stubbs and Margaret Gumm.
A walk-through visitation will be Thursday, April 1st , 2021, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home, Followed by the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. by Rev Gary Maguffee With Burial to follow at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
The family has requested the expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to American Cancer Society and Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.

Dr. Shirley B. Meece was born in Berea, Kentucky, October 2, 1929. She passed away March 28, 2021 in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Dr. Meece was married to Dr. Drewry Meece, April 24, 1965. He preceded her in death. Shirley was the daughter of Taylor P. Baker and Marie Gay Baker. She is survived by two special friends, Cheryl Chandler and Edwina Rowell and many friends.
Shirley received her PhD in English Literature from the University of Kentucky. She enjoyed a teaching career at Campbellsville University. Shirley loved to travel, visiting many states and countries. For 17 summers she taught English in China. Shirley is remembered as helpful, kind and a dedicated Christian.

 Goldie Underwood Brewer of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Everett Underwood and Lou Brewer Underwood Hash was born February 11, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:05 P.M., Friday, March 26, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
Goldie professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of The Loom.
Goldie united in marriage to Hobert Brewer who preceded her in death February 9, 1990.
She is survived by one sister, Bernice Oakes of Hodgenville; one half brother, Donald Underwood of Campbellsville; one step-sister, Delores Wilson of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Goldie was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Moss; two brothers and two sisters: Carl Underwood, Virginia Hash, Harlan Hash and Ruby Medley; two step-brothers and two step-sisters: Rev. Thomas Hash, Lonnie Hash, and Helen Wright; four half brothers: Rondal Underwood, Jerry Underwood, David Underwood and Eddie Underwood.

Alton Eugene “Gene” Money was born to George William and Commie Justus Sullivan Money on December 19, 1931, at Pleasant Valley Community in Green County. He married the love of his life, Mary Dolores Morris, on June 23, 1951. Dolores was waiting for Gene, having entered heaven October 15, 2019.
Gene professed faith in Christ as a young man and was a long-time member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Gene was a 45-year employee of Tennessee Gas Pipeline Transmission Co., beginning in 1952 at the Gabe Stripping Plant. He was transferred to a compression station in 1967 with maintenance/clerical duties. In 1976 he was promoted to plant foreman in Catlettsburg, KY, and in 1980 was transferred to pipeline foreman in Winchester, KY, later being promoted to district superintendent in 1983. 1993 brought a transfer back to Campbellsville, with retirement in 1996. Along with retirement came more golf, more time to spend working in the yard, and more time to devote to family.
He is survived by one son and three daughters: Gary E. Money of Campbellsville; VIcki L. Money and husband, Bill Guffy, of Campbellsville; Carolyn Jo Bertram and husband, George Barry “Chip” Bertram, Jr., of Mt. Juliet, TN; Mary Gina Money (Keith Portner) of Cherry Hill, NJ. Gene was the best PaPa ever to five precious grandchildren: Lori McGlocklin of Reading, PA; Brooke DuBois (Jason), Ft. Collins, CO; George Ryan Bertram (Molly), Mt. Juliet, TN; Bethany Wooley (Thomas), Campbellsville; and Tristan Depew, NY, NY. PaPa was blessed with five great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Nolan Bertram, Mt. Juliet, TN; Ava and Stella Wooley, Campbellsville; and Taylor DuBois, Ft. Collins, CO.
One of nine children, Gene is survived by sisters Cora Faulkner, Eleanor Hedgespeth (Lilburn), and Sue Sandidge (Terry), and one brother, George Money, Jr. (Sue). He was preceded in death by siblings Agnes Warren, Annas Coleman, Parson Money, and Lois McAnelly. Gene is also survived by Dolores’s brothers Robert Morris (Polly), George Morris (Pat), and Orbia Morris (Nancy). Survived by nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and special friends.
Gene was loved and will be missed by so many. Those left behind find peace and comfort knowing that “Genie Boy” and his “Doe-Doe” are reunited. They will get to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary in the presence of our Savior. Their hope would be that everyone have the same relationship with Jesus Christ that they held so dear.

 Mrs. Virginia Elizabeth Taylor of Campbellsville, Passed from this life on Friday March 26, 2021 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center. Born September 1, 1929 to the late Robert and Sarah Davis (Penick) Taylor, she was 91 years, 6 months, and 25 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church. She had a natural green thumb and enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family. Mrs. Taylor loved to play her harmonica as much as others enjoyed listening. She was the devoted wife to Mr. Ester Wood Taylor who preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing:
Nine children : Sarah Tobin and husband Zachery, Clara Abell, Dwight Taylor and wife Becky, Connie Taylor, Kennith Taylor, Lottie Taylor, Nancy Taylor, Janice Taylor and husband Tee, and Vanessa Moorman
A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her children: Bobby Taylor, Ivin Taylor, Danita Gay, and Betty Williams,
Eight siblings: Betty Taylor, Naomi B Taylor, Cora Lee Taylor, Hallie Taylor, Charlie Taylor, Henry Taylor, Leonard Taylor, and James T Taylor
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Taylor on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM EDT (12:00 PM CDT) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Run Cemetery in Green County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 1, 2021 after 11:00 AM EDT (10:00 AM CDT) until time for service.

Harold Dalton Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late Huston Cox and Beechel Tungate Cox, was born August 28, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:22 P.M., Thursday, March 25, 2021 in Louisville. Age: 82
He professed faith in Christ and was a charter member of Mannsville Separate Baptist Church but was currently attending Campbellsville Separate Baptist Church. While attending Mannsville Separate Baptist Church, he was a Trustee, Sunday School teacher and Sunday School Superintendent.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Harold also retired from the Kentucky National Guard 623rd Battalion after twenty years of service.
Harold was a retired employee of Parker-Kalon in Campbellsville. He was good husband and father and dearly loved his grandchildren.
He united in marriage to Kathleen Woodrum August 22, 1964.
Besides his wife, Kathleen Cox of Elk Horn, Harold is survived by one son, Damon A. Cox and wife, Destiny of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Aidan Cox, Ethan Cox, Keegan Cox, Avery Cox, Kira Cox and Kennedy Cox; one sister, Beverly Sue Cox of Campbellsville; two brothers-in-law: Bro. Robert Boston and Stevie Woodrum of Campbellsville; three sisters-in-law: Mary Nell Cox, Marcella Cox and Pauline Ford and husband, Gary of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister: David Cox, Donald Cox, Dannie Dale Cox and Wilma Boston.

 Mr. Vestal Lavern Hobbs of Columbia (The Sparksville Community), formerly of Howell County, Missouri, Passed from this life on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. He was 82 years of age. He was born on June 25, 1938 in West Plains, Missouri to the late Theodore Roosevelt and Daisy Rebecca (Roupe) Hobbs. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a devoted employee of the Amyx Manufacturing Plant, retiring after 35 years of service.
Mr. Hobbs was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mrs. Melba Kay (Dodson) Hobbs; a son, Vestal Hobbs, Jr.; two brothers, Cleo Hobbs and Merle Hobbs; and a sister, Loretta Daniels.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
Two children: Daryl Hobbs of Missouri, and Debra Adams and husband Michael of Columbia,
Two brothers: Merlin “T” Hobbs and wife Judy of Missouri, and Kenneth Hobbs and wife Donna of Kansas,
Two grandchildren,

The family chose cremation. A graveside interment service will be held at the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Howell County, Missouri at a later date.

 Joseph Anthony “Joe” Huddleston, Sr., of Campbellsville, the son of Joyce Maxine (Fox) Huddleston of Campbellsville and the late Lanous Huddleston, was born February 19, 1959 in Jefferson County, KY and departed this life on Monday, March 22, 2021 in Elizabethtown at the Baptist Health Hardin Hospital. He was 62 years of age.
He was a self-employed entrepreneur, owning service businesses and rental properties. “He was a jack of all trades and master of all” was expressed by his family.
Joe, as everyone knew him enjoyed mud racing, big trucks, mowing the grass on his tractor, but found great pleasure spending time with family and friends.
Besides his mother, he is survived by; his wife: Pam Huddleston; his son: Tony Huddleston, both of Campbellsville; Pascal Burghardt an exchange student from Germany; half-brother: Mike Stettenbenz and wife Gail of Indiana; his father-in-law and mother-in-Law: Charles and Pat Brown of Louisville; sister-in-law: Carol Castello and husband Joe of Mt. Washington; his brother-in-law: Joe Brown of Louisville; special friends: Doug Farmer, Jimmy Anderson and Buddy McNear and a host of exchange students all across the world and a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Joe Huddleston will be Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
Bro. Joe Castello will be officiating.
A walk-thru visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. until time for the service.
Memorials are suggested to the Pan Atlantic Foundation for exchange students or the Taylor County Middle School youth service center, both can be made in person at the funeral home.

 Brian Austin Chase of Campbellsville, the son of Alan and Gayle (Coats) Chase of San Jose, CA, was born February 6, 1987 in San Jose and passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at his home. He was 34 years of age.
He was a digital marketer and was of the Christian Faith.
Brian enjoyed baseball, music and especially his children.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two children: Rylan Colt Chase and Kieran Mays Chase, both of Campbellsville; a brother: Nathan Chase and his wife Stacy of San Jose and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family has chose cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ruth Rodgers of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Sie Wood and Callie Antle Wood, was born August 26, 1933 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:09 P.M., Sunday, March 21, 2021 in Elizabethtown. Age: 87
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church and had recently been attending Campbellsville Christian Church with her son.
She united in marriage to Maurice Rodgers August 19, 1950 and he preceded her in death December 11, 1986.
Ruth is survived by two sons: Doug Rodgers and wife, Patty and Ricki Rodgers and wife, Bridgett of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Clint Rodgers and wife, Elizabeth and Megan Hatcher and husband, Daniel of Campbellsville and Rachel Rodgers Parker and husband, Michael of Lexington; seven great-grandchildren: Edward Coval Rodgers, Caili Rodgers, Grant Rodgers, Max Hatcher, Griffin Hatcher, Will Hatcher and Beau Parker; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Robin “Buzz” Rodgers August 30, 2018 and three brothers and four sisters: Allen Wood, Stanley Wood, James Wood, Opal Nelson, Dixie Schnell, Margaret Stalker and Joyce Wolford.
