Patrick Mann of Campbellsville, son of Becky Bower Mann and the late Dr. W. R. Mann, was born August 1, 1955 in New Albany, Indiana. He died at 12:03 A.M., Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 62
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Pat was the former owner of Mann Daylily Nursery.
He is survived by two sons: Caleb Mann and Josh Mann of Campbellsville; his mother, Becky Bower Mann of Louisville; two sisters and one brother: Dr. Barbara Freeman of Louisville, Beth Reynolds and husband, Tim of Campbellsville and Bill Mann and wife, Genez of Taylors, South Carolina;
several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in a daughter, Bethany Anne Mann June 22, 2011.

Ronnie H. Morris

Ronnie H. Morris of Campbellsville, son of the late Coy Morris and Estelle Beard Morris, was born September 27, 1947 in Larue County, Kentucky. He died at 3:52 P.M., Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Elizabethtown. Age: 70
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith.
He was a veteran of Vietnam War having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Ronnie was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after forty-five years of service.
He enjoyed tending to his lilies and bushhogging when he was able. He also enjoyed loafing at the pawn shop and Robert’s Repair.
He united in marriage to JoAnn Brewer June 28, 1971.
Besides his wife, JoAnn Morris of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Veronica Seales and husband, Todd of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Rebecca Matney and husband, Jason of Bowling Green; three granddaughters and one grandson: Meredith Seales, Ciara Matney, Tinslee Matney and Blake Wooley; one brother and three sisters: Ralph Morris and wife, Helen of Louisville, Nancy Thompson and husband, Ray and Elizabeth Knight and husband, Chester of Elizabethtown and Annette Bell and husband, Larry of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Marzetta Morris in infancy.

Garnett Burris, 90

Mr. Jim Garnett Burris of Campbellsville passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. Born on June 15, 1928 to the late Willie and Pearl (Downey) Burris, he was 90 years, 1 month, and 1 day of age. Mr. Burris had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. He was a heavy equipment operator, and the owner/operator of Garnett Burris Excavating. A veteran of the United States Army, he served his country honorably during the Korean War. He loved his family and friends, and spent as much time as possible with them.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

His wife: Donna (Hamilton) Burris,

Two children: Phillip Burris and wife Darlene, and Todd Burris and wife Theresa, all of Campbellsville,

One sister: Hilda Holmes and husband Billy of Louisville,

Three grandchildren: Anthony Burris, Shannon Burris and wife Ranita, and Wesley Todd Burris,

Five great-grandchildren,

And a host of other family and friends.

He was also preceded in death by seven siblings: Belle Keltner, Barbara Ann Simpson, Catherine Holmes, Ray Burris, Paul Burris, Coakley Burris, and Gilbert Burris.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Burris on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Billy Holmes and Mr. Jeff Burris will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Old Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 18, from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Bobby Joe Dile, 57

Mr. Bobby Joe Dile of Greensburg passed from this life on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green after an illness. Born on January 19, 1961 to Evelyn (Price) and the late Kenneth Dile, he was 57 years, 5 months, and 23 days of age. Mr. Dile was a retired employee of the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville, and was of the Baptist faith. He was affectionately known as a great friend with a genuine, kind, and giving heart, and was described as the type of person who, “If he had a dollar, you had a dollar.”

He leaves to mourn his passing:

Two daughters: Reva Shianne Lee of Lexington, and Rhianna VanVlymen of Columbia,

His mother: Evelyn Dile of Greensburg,

Two brothers: Kenny Dile and Jeff Dile, both of Greensburg,

A close friend: Harold Shirley of Columbia,

And a host of other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dile, in 2016, and his soulmate, Margaret Mason Smith, in 2018.

There will be a memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Dile on Monday, July 16, at 1:00 PM EST (12:00 PM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 16, after 12:00 PM (11:00 AM CST) until time for the service.

Erlene Himes of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Harry Maynard Troutman and Erniebell Troutman, was born January 2, 1941 in Concord, North Carolina. She died at 2:51 P.M., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Louisville. Age: 77
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She was a retired Librarian for Marion County School System and was the director of the Marion County Public Library for six years.
She united in marriage to Bobby Himes August 20, 1961. He preceded her in death June 28, 2008.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Renee and John Abell of Columbia; one grandson, Aaron DeMers of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Austin DeMers, Sierra DeMers, and Mackenzie DeMers; one sister, Joan Rogers of Mooresville, North Carolina; life time friend, Barbara Christ of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Bowers.

Edmond Trautman of Campbellsville, son of the late William Shelby Trautman and Ealon Rhynearson Trautman, was born September 1, 1921, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:18 P.M., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Louisville. Age: 96
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of World Wart II having served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a member of Battery B 44th Field Artillery Battalion.
Edmond retired from farming, which he loved and was considered by everyone to be “an all around good guy”.
He united in marriage to Doris Gabehart December 9, 2009.
Besides his wife, Doris Trautman of Campbellsville, he is survived by one sister,
Mary Alice Jones of Louisville; a special nephew: Kevin Gabehart and wife, Lisa of Lebanon;
and many other relatives and friends.
Edmond was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Marcus Trautman, Irene Clark and Myrtle Stubbs.

Mrs. Betty Sue Hudgins of Campbellsville, daughter of the late G.T. and Jewell (Pike) Eubank, passed from this life on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Baptist East Hospital in Louisville after an extended illness. Born on March 12, 1952, she was 66 years, 3 months, and 27 days of age. She was the devoted and cherished wife of Mr. Mitchell Hudgins, who survives. Mrs. Hudgins professed faith in Christ and attended the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of the Fruit of the Loom factory in Campbellsville and loved her family dearly. She especially loved cooking and keeping a warm, inviting home.

She leaves to mourn her passing:

Becky Lovett, 75

Mrs. Mary Rebecca “Becky” Lovett of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Wethington and Mellie Wethington, was born September 28, 1942 in Casey County.

She died July 9, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness, being 75 years, 9 months, and 11 days of age.

She attended Campbellsville Baptist Temple where she made a profession of faith and was a Sunday School and children’s church teacher. She spent 40 years as an educator, teacher, and principal.

Becky loved storytelling, loved working with children, and loved her Lord. She loved working in her garden and spending time with her family.

She united in marriage to Danny Lovett on May 27, 2006.

Besides her husband, Danny Lovett, she is survived by:

Two daughters: Genise Oberson and husband Jonothan of Lebanon, and Sarah Sumners of Campbellsville,

One son: Daniel Lovett of Campbellsville,

Four granddaughters: Allison Bailey Sumners, Jaden Elizabeth Orberson, Marissa Lee Sumners, and Janelle Madison Orberson,

Two brothers: Eddie Wethington and wife Bonnie of Indiana, and Jack Wethington and wife Shelia of Campbellsville,

Two sisters: Eula Mae Buck of Campbellsville, and Ann Holmes and husband Junior of Columbia,

One aunt: Betty Douglas of Ohio,

Several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Wethington, in 2002, her mother, Mellie C. Wethington, in 1998, and four siblings, William O. Wethington, Otho Wethington, Barbara Wethington, and Joseph Wethington.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12, at 10:00 AM at the Campbellsville Baptist Temple, 1360 Old Hodgenville Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Jase Divens will be officiating. Entombment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Christine Graybeal Sprouse of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Milton “Spencer” Graybeal and Erie A. Ball Graybeal, was born February 11, 1924 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:36 A.M., Saturday, July 7, 2018 in Campbellsville. She was 94 years, 4 months and 24 days of age.
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith.
Christine was a retired employee of Phillip Morris in Louisville. In her spare time, she loved to read and enjoyed working in her flower garden.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Davis of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jeremy Daniel Davis, Jennifer Lynn Bell and Jacqueline Nicole Davis all of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers: Shirley Sturtivan and husband, Clifford, Sue Bright, and Larry Graybeal all of Campbellsville, Bearl Graybeal and wife, Ruby of Corbin and Millard L. Graybeal of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
